Over the last year, I have been working on beautifying the retaining wall on the back of our house. After doing the work to add the decorative stone, we found we were ready to add some vegetation. I looked around at the usual major hardware locales and did some research online where I came across P&C. At P&C, I was helped by the owner who took her time to show me what types of succulents and trees she had which were many! The colors and types of succulents she had available in many sizes were amazing. I had never seen those colors in nature. At the end of my visit, I walked away with $160 worth of succulents which included, 30 small succulents, 2 large succulents, and 2 queen palms. Weeks later, when I had to drop by the Depot, I compared prices and found the savings to be extensive. One palm tree alone would have been close to $100. A great local spot to visit. Such a large nursery with sooooo many succulents. I came here to buy some succulents and cactis to make a terrarium as a gift and boy was I lucky! The small succulents ranged from $1.50 to $3 each and the cactis were $3. They have a whole room filled with them in the back and there is a whole area in the front filled with them. The only issue I had was that the employees were NO WHERE to be found. I was waiting for help for the longest time and I could not find anyone. Finally I was able to spot one employee who showed me where everything was and then she walked off again. When it was time to pay I had to go to their front house to get their attention of the employee to help me check out. I really loved the variety and price here so I would definitely come back to check out the other plants and probably buy more. read more

It was a perfect Southern California Mother's Day Sunday with a cool breeze, sunny and clear skies. BGE and I started off our day with a Mother's Day sermon at church and had every intention of heading to Laguna for brunch when my favorite Libra decided to change her mind and head out searching for plants for our front entryway. I personally wanted to check out the local nurseries around town since moving here a couple of years ago, and finally this gave me a legit reason to head to one. So with a quick glance and search with Yelp, P&C Wholesale Nursery appeared in the top position so that's exactly where we headed. When we arrived, we pulled up to a bit of a deserted entryway marked by a chain link fence. It was a bit off-putting because it looked just a little dilapidated, but if you looked beyond the fence you could see roses and various types of plants with a cute little sign and shed in the front that peaked our curiosity and got us to go inside. We were greeted by a middle aged gentleman (the owner) who said, "I have to go to Lowe's, but look around the lot my wife is in there tending to the plants somewhere.". Initially, we did not find her but we did find the first Greenhouse to be full of beautiful succulents. As BGE browsed the beautiful succulents in the greenhouse, I headed out onto the grounds for a bit of a stroll and to find the owner. A few greenhouses away I found Reyna who was the owner and she greeted me with a warm smile and immediately attended to both BGE and I. She was extremely helpful and was an expert in everything we needed to know about succulent care and how to pick them, even explaining how they change depending on what condition and how much water we put. Needless to say we wound up purchasing a box of medium sized succulents that my girlfriend was extremely pleased with. And while she was picking them out and paying for them I took a few pictures so I hope you enjoy them Without a doubt, the family feel, warmth, variety of plants and price set P&C Wholesale Nursery above all of the chain nurseries that I visited in town. In fact I just got back from Costco and for smaller pots of various succulents you'll pay at least $45, a lot more than what we spent. I've been buying succulents from this nursery for 1 year, i love supporting small family businesses, usually these business are a little overpriced but this is not the case at all, I've bought succulents for $1.50, the prices are very reasonable and affordable. It's hard to choose because they have a great variety. If you want something specific but don't see it, make sure to ask before you leave, few months ago I went to get pearl of strings and after looking around for some minutes, i asked the lady and she brought it from another room. Stuff is helpful and polite, sometimes you don't see them around because the place is big but they are always walking around, just be patient. I recently learned through one of their social media pages, they have workshops once in a while. They are located behind the church, it might be confusing, just drive all the way until the end of the church parking lot. read more

Wow!! What a great find here in Corona! I am super impressed with their succulent collection, rows upon rows, aisle after aisle. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. The are a working nursery, if there isn't a customer they are actively working with, you will find all of the staff bending over plants, gently encouraging their growth, setting up water lines or manhandling large bags of dirt/mulch. I am not much of a yelper BUT this place deserves my very first review after years of having a yelp account. This place is a treasure for anyone who loves succulents and other plants. I have gone to numerous nurseries in the area and in OC, and no other place had the quality and quantity of succulents that they offer at P & C Nursery. It is succulents galore! The lady who helped me (I believe she is the owner), was very helpful and even offered tips on caring for my succulents. She kept checking up on me to see if I had any questions which I really appreciated. The nursery is located off Main St. right behind the 7th-day Adventist church. You turn in once you see a large wooden sign and keep going straight down the road. As someone who loves supporting local/family owned businesses, I will continue to come here for my garden needs. The owner shared that they will be making special succulent arrangements for Valentine's Day, so I will definitely stop by to check them out! My dad has been looking for some unique succulents. I looked up some places on Yelp and P&C popped up. I read the reviews and we went down there to check it out. It's kind of hidden in the back of a street off Main. I would have missed it if their little sign wasn't out along the street. It's right behind the Sprouts off Main St. When you first drive up it doesn't look fancy like other nurseries, but when we saw this large greenhouse on the right we knew we were not going to be disappointed. They have so many succulents!!! And they are all different sizes and colors. The owner came and greeted us in the greenhouse. She was so knowledgeable about every single plant. I'm not exaggerating, she knew everything from the size they will grow to, which ones need light, how much water they need and so much more. And just when we thought we saw an amazing selection, there are more tents on the property that have even more plants. There were more people working on the grounds who were just as knowledgeable and friendly as the owner was. We were really impressed. The prices are out of this world. We got more plants here and spent way less than any other places we have gone to. We couldn't believe it. The owner is so passionate about her business it's so nice. She was so genuine, we could have stayed there most of the day walking around and just talking to her. She shared that the city won't let them put a bigger sign out, which is really unfortunate because this is such a great place to get unique and healthy plants. Please support this local business and visit this place. It's not a fancy nursery, it's a mom and pop. However you will not be disappointed. Between selection and price, it's fantastic! Quaint little mom and pop nursery. Called to make sure they were open on a Sunday, and they were. It's pretty hidden when I first went, I had to circle around the area twice before realizing it was behind a small little dirt road behind the church, so keep that in mind first-timers!! Upon arrival, the owner was very nice and made sure I had her attention for any questions. She introduced me to her family, and gave me a background of her business. It was great. She showed me around the mini-greenhouses and all the plants she had. Prices were very fair, lots of selection of flowers, and a huge variety of succulents!! Today I was in search of s nursery to buy succulents for a baby shower, yelp had thus place listed so I went to find them to see what they carry, I have to tell you they sit eat back off of Main St. Down a road behind a church. When I found them finally I met the 2 nicest women who run the place alone. They had a wonderful variety to pick from. I will definetly be back to buy from them, I felt bad for them as they told me the city of Corona will not let them put a sign out on Main St. To help people find them easily. I think that us wrong of the city to not allow that, unfortunately their business is way down due to that reason. Please help me in getting them more business they deserve to do well. read more

Very late on this review, but I would like say the P and C Nursey is amazing! For our wedding, we had chosen to use succulents instead of traditional flowers (to save on cost). So we stopped by to the nursery to gather succulents so we can create our own centerpieces. But I then realized I didn't know how to arrange which succulents to go with what lol! Lucky, the owner stepped in and provided her services to us and she would create the centerpieces for us at a low cost! I was beyond relieved. We had also purchased individual succulents for wedding favors for our guests to take home. The owner was so kind and generous with us that she even throw in free succulent clippings to add to our wedding cake! Thank you P and C Nursey! Your guys succulents was a big hit at our wedding! If you live in or near Corona, don't get your succulents anywhere else other than here. Everything is priced wholesale which means 2 inch pots for only $2. From there the price only goes up a few more dollars. This place has got some serious rarities and oddballs that I don't think youll be able to find elsewhere for such an amazing price. $12 for an already trailing, full, and healthy String of Hearts? Yes please! Thought crested succulents were rare? This place has got them left and right for the best prices possible. The selection is ginormous! Please if you live near Corona or even just in SoCal, give P&C a visit. They do have some plants thrown about and weeds overgrowing some portions of the facility, but youll be so enticed by their plants youll be able to look past the aging. The owner is so nice and her employees are just as awesome. I accidentally grabbed a succulent she normally wouldn't sell, but she let me buy it anyway. Upon first glance there does not appear to be much, when you pull in. It is not a fancy place, but if you take the time to look around you will find a mecca of well cared for and unique succulents and other green treasures. My husband and I spent over an hour here picking out a flat of mixed succulents for a price you can not beat! The owner was so friendly, and spent a good deal of time telling us about them and what they will look like as they grow, as well as how the color changes from green to red related to the amount of sun/water exposure, etc. She was so generous with her knowledge and eager to share with people that have a genuine interest. BEST nursery ever! I had spent $88 online with Fairy Blooms that's in San Diego, never received my order, and was told it was in transit, then ignored. So I found P&C and they had all that I had wanted originally, and more! They had a super awesome sale and very helpful staff. The selection of succulents was amazing, and the prices were so good I spent $113. Plants were in great condition and staff was knowledgeable about planting and how they would look as they grew. My lady and I went here on a Friday afternoon to find some plants for our garden. As we walked in we both realized we had to go to the restroom. We saw a portapotty about 40 feet from the entrance inside the nursery . We went ahead and used it so we could shop for our plants without doing the pee dance the whole time. After we both used this restroom we were confronted by a woman who works there. She was very very pissed off we used this as it was for "employees only". We apologized and started walking to the plants. The woman proceeded to follow us and started harassing my lady saying she looked at her wrong. They made us feel very uncomfortable and all we wanted to do was look at some succulents. We then decided to leave this awkward situation. Will never be coming back due to her actions. If you have to pee, then do the pee dance or else you'll be harassed. Poor management, unprofessional, and very unwelcoming. Figure your shit out. read more
