A larger gentleman arrived and had the worst attitude we experienced at any place we visited. He couldnt be bothered, rude, unprofessional not helpful whatsoever. I liked the Taiwanese-style lunch in the farmland or nursery and seemed like I was in Taiwan. (note: make sure to make a reservation by phone and ask Susan if they have an AYCE buffet because if they don't have enough people on that day then they won't have it. It's $20 per person and ages 9 years and under for half price. Cash only!) We went there on a Friday morning at around 10 a.m. after Christmas and we made a reservation about a few days before. It's located in Riverside and the nursery was pretty big. The owner's wife Susan told me that they had an AYCE buffet that day and that weekend. G & M Nursery has a lot of fruit trees and plants. They sold us a bag for $20 that we could fill up any fruits into the whole bag by ourselves. It was not cheap but it was for the experience. They also let us try some free samples of the sweet lemon and we also picked some to the bag. They tasted sweet, it was very unique indeed. For the AYCE Taiwanese buffet, they had a lot of food to choose from and the owner (chef) is a good cook and he can serve 250 people. The food was delicious and Susan and his husband were very friendly. They only accept cash, no credit cards.

As a wholesaler you pay cash or check and they prefer a list of plants you're interested in so they can pull them from their different nurseries in Riverside. Our plants are doing well and at less than $4 for gallon plants, the price can't be beat! Some plants they have now include western redbud, hollyleaf cherry, desert willow, Toyon, salvias, bladderpod and California buckwheat- all important natives to have in your habitat garden.

RIP OFF $,1800.00 for 6 AGAVE. They were my pool/ landscape…read moreguy's plant guy, the 1st time they delivered with the foxtail agave was with the 8" trunk, I didn't like the look of trunk sticking out the ground, but my pool guy already planted them, so I ordered more smaller ones to try to cover the long trunks, my pool guy send him pictures asking for something smaller and shorter to cover the trunk, when he say he was coming out deliver the rest agave I send him more pictures and circled out asked him "please don't bring out the ones with long trunk", he bring out with the 20" long trunk agave, I paid $1,800.00 for 12agave that's something i didn't ask and wanted, what a rip off. He told the workers and me the agave can be cut the long trunk and plant right in the ground, and I let him talk me into that, what I know about plant, if the plant guy say so, it will be fine, now 2 month later they are all looking dying. Also before he cash out the check he says next day he can bring some other plant to let me see if I don't like the looks of the stuff he dropped off, but of course he went to cash out the check right after he leave my place, then after he cashed out the check he won't pick up the calls and reply to the text. I tried my best still only used 6 agave he dropped off, so basically I paid $1,800 for 6 agave? The only reason I trust him because he was my pool guys plant guy, so end up my pool guy agree to cover this guy's ass, take back and credit me that 6 agave I didn't use. But my front yard still look bad, but I already paid and planted so i stuck to something I don't want.

Staying at home has driven me to bring out my creative talents that I've suppressed for whatever…read morereasons. So, I decided to do some simple plantings and enhance my surroundings. As I Googled Succulents, so many choices came up. You can grow them from seeds, clippings or already rooted and potted. I chose the clippings, because it's like they're meeting me halfway and the cost was much better. Seeds would take several weeks before I would see a plant. So, I chose Annie's from Esty. She had the best priced offer of 30 clippings for around $25. They arrived within a few days via a small Priority Mail box. They shipped well all the way from CA. And, I received way more than 30 plants! I'd prepared for their arrival by purchasing special soil and pots with drainage. In botany, succulent plants are plants with parts that are thickened, fleshy and engorged, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. The word succulent comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning 'juice', or 'sap'. I spent time learning about these plants while waiting for their arrival. They require little watering and do well indoors. New plants can be created by taking off petals and propagating them. I was so excited! It was fun arranging them. They can be replanted later individually if needed. If they survive me, then, they're pretty hardy. They will also make excellent home office gifts for friends!
