In this case the old air filter was removed upon trying to start the unit before returning to Tulsa Holland Troy Bilt Manufacturer warranty store. The Mechanic implied the lawn mower equipment was used with out an air filter from the previous season which was installed by Tractor Supply. The warranty Mechanic voided the warranty but the sale service agent of the store did implied they were willing to do business.

I disagree with accepting the increase. I found the belt online for under for under $40 and eventually at a local lawnmower repair shop for $53. This new belt unlike the Southside belt was a Kelvar belt and made in the USA. Not sure of the country of origin of the Southside belt, counterman wasn't sure (probably China). Contacted Southside about my findings, he stated "I will charge what I want for my belt". Basically, if you want to be overcharged and suspect parts, this is your place of business.
