Shamrock's bid required tearing up concrete inside my basement bathroom and outdoor concrete sidewalk. The bid did not include fixing these things back to where they were just for the record. Meaning they would tear out the wall, the toilet, the sink, the tile, and I was responsible for getting rid of all the debris and replacing everything and putting it all back together. They basically said in the bid that they are not responsible for just about anything that happens while they are there and did not even give a quote on the length of pipe to be replaced. Meaning they could tell me anything once they opened up the ground and said oh well that wasn't included. They basically said if we damage the grinder pit that they aren't responsible for that. If the digging they do compromises the structural integrity of my deck that they aren't responsible. If their equipment gets stuck in a pipe, I am responsible to pay for the removal and repair of that. They aren't responsible for any damage caused by weather so then they can just leave everything as is and not worry about trying to mitigate anything. This contract was the biggest joke I had ever seen. It did not include a diagram of where the new pipes would go, how much of the concrete would be removed, where the new pipe would go and on and on. With a huge price tag and many disclaimers that said the price could end up being signifcantly higher than the original bid. The company I did hire fixed the pipe, did not tear up any concrete, inside or out, did not disturb the soil around my deck piers, and were done in less than a day. I had another company inspect their work and the project passed inspection. This cost less than half of Shamrocks ridiculous bid and came with a warranty. Shamrock wanted to destroy so much of my property for absolutely no reason, well, the reason was to walk away with big dollars and leave me with a nightmare.

I asked him to hook up the rotorhead at a later time so heavy equipment bringing topsoil don't damage them. He insisted on getting paid in full or he finishes everything then. I reluctantly paid him in full, and when I needed him to come back and install the rotor heads and controller, he would not reply to messages or answer my calls until 5 days later, when his reply came in the form of a text, with a screenshot of the plumber's invoice asking me to pay it (mind you, it was in his name and also overdue) after which he would put me on the schedule and come finish the job. The plumber's fee was clearly part of the total price that he quoted and which he's already received! He clearly was surprised by that bill and thought he would sucker me into paying it. I ended up installing the heads and controller myself, but there was a leak somewhere in the system. I swallowed my pride and reached back out to him because he knew what he put in the ground and should know the anatomy of the system. When I offered to help him by paying half of the plumber's invoice, he agreed to come and gave me a date. At the end of the day he never showed up and never replied anymore. He clearly did the math and decided that it would still be cheaper for him not to show up. It is not worthwhile involving a lawyer, but I will reach out to the BBB and the MO attorney general's office/consumer protection. I would definitely stay away from him. A real low life!

I had them do a large project (Fairview) for me at a Duplex in Tower Grove. They came out several times and met with my property manager (no service fees at all). I called them a few times after the big project only to be nickel and dimed by $190 service fees per call with no work. One project was at Fairview which they had just completed but charged me extra indicating it was "different". I can't prove that but sounds very suspicious when the entire basement was rewired. I called them about electric going out in a kitchen at a Duplex on Alaska. They went over there, was there for 10 minutes and called and said the breakers overloaded and sent me a $221 invoice with a several thousand dollar bid to fix it (I later got a bid elsewhere for $700). What they will say. The large project they saved me from tens of thousands of dollars on a full rewire (isn't that your job?), "This cost me gas, this cost me time." They had no problem spending the gas and time to get the large projects only to nickel and dime the smaller ones. Just for your info. Beware and do your homework. Contractors are getting out of control.

Shortly after, electrical failures continue to occur (outlets suddenly not working, flickering lights, etc). This is happening across condos that they services. Upon bringing their attention to the matter, they refuse to address the issues without charging a ridiculous 2 hour fee minimum (even if the issues take 20 minutes to fix). They are not taking accountability for the issues that are occurring as they should if they really hold the value of providing exceptional work. Not to mention how absolutely RUDE the owner, Ashley, is when calling to discuss these concerns. Even with evidence that all work was not thoroughly inspected, they refuse. These remediations cost THOUSANDS of dollars, and they can't come look at a damn outlet. DO NOT USE! Or ask for a guarantee that If something goes wrong within 1 year of service, they will be responsible for fixing! I will also be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau for completing inadequate/poor work, price gouging and complete lack of customer service.
