I'd had another auto guy tell me I needed new brakes, new transmission and engine mounts and a bunch of other repairs, so decided to get a quote a 'south street auto' Kevin the owner said I only needed brake bracket parts and cleaning, and something with the power steering but that my brakes were almost new and the engine looked great. I asked him to do everything on the car while I was there to make sure it was safe for my college aged son to drive and it all totaled $414. I saved a few thousand by coming here. I noted that every guy that came in was a 50-70 year old local who had obviously been taking their cars there for years. This is now my go-to auto place. Kevin could have told me anything was wrong with my car and I'd have no clue but he obviously runs a honest and extremely fair priced.

They told me that the labor charge they go by a book. So another words if it takes them an hour and the book says up to 3 hours that is what you paying. they did mark the part up a bit too and knew they would. I believe honesty will keep people coming back. They just lost me as a customer and they lost a new customer that could have been going back. I like to support small businesses but not if they charge more then the dealer for a repair. They were nice talking to me, but overcharge. Honesty can go a long way. Is sad because they are a Costco recommended repair shop but not for me at those prices.

I recently began getting my car serviced here because my original repairman closed his shop. Vincenzo, the mechanic is an excellent wrench man. I've had everything done from tire plugs, to oil changes, a new front end, brakes, bearings, etc. on one of my vehicles. The guys did a great job and work is always completed in a timely manner. I never had an issue with any of the repair bills, but who is ever happy with any bill for an auto repair. Century Auto must work on all types of vehicles because I've seen huge trucks, cars, vans, and even an exotic Lamborghini or Audi on occasion. If those customers will trust them with their high-end sports cars, then I feel that my vehicles are certainly in good hands.
