The dumpster had Diaz advertising on the sides. It would be better if they could be less intrusive by placing the dumpster on Monday morning. Monday the roof stripping began at 7am. It was certainly and understandably loud. But the workers planted a large stereo/radio on the roof and cranked it up so loud that we could hear the lyrics and DJ on the inside of the house. At least give us the choice of music. The manager owner was not on-site to address questions and concerns. We didn't receive any instructions other than clear the curb and driveway beginning Monday. At least the staff offered to call Mr. Diaz. The first staff we met had some difficulty communicating in English. But the Navajo staff were able to communicate easily in English and Dineh Bizaad(Navajo language). This could be crucial in an urgent situation. The crew split up at lunchtime. Some drove off for lunch. A few sat in our front yard and ate lunch in the shade of the dumpster. Thankfully the staff were kind. Perhaps they are all about business. Let's hope the final result is a lasting quality job, worth the inconvenience. The only suggestion I would make for this business is to make sure the residents are greeted, kept safe from falling debris, and make the least amount of presence known to the neighborhood (music and dumpsters).

I wouldn't expect them to spend more time finding and cleaning a few leftover nails than they did installing the entire new roof. I cleaned up the few nails leftover. The company is hard to reach for follow up, after the job is completed and passes inspection. This is 2nd time hiring (different house), the first time they did return and fix a warranty issue after I called multiple times. So they did honor their five year warranty.

He said he can order the specific OEM windshield we wanted and the intermittent power window issue is due to a motor-regulator going bad. He said he can repair both and instructed us to get the motor-regulator assembly from O'Reilly Auto Parts. We set an appointment for Saturday, 01/27/24 at 10:00 am. On Saturday we arrived at 10:00 am to find the bay doors shut and the office door barred close. We waited 15 minutes and no one came to the shop. We first called Ken and did not get an answer. We then texted him and still no response. At this point we decided to drive around town and returned 30 minutes later to still find the shop closed. We drove the 25 minutes one way back home. Once back home, I noticed a text response from Ken about one hour to one and half-hour later from whence we texted him. It stated that he was sorry, but an emergency came and to contact him to reschedule. On the following Monday, 01/29, I called hime and asked hime if everything was OK regarding the emergency (no response from Ken) and then rescheduled our appointment for Wednesday, 01/31/at 11:00 am. I asked him if he could work with us since Saturday turned into an inconvenience for us. He gave us a generous discount as compensation. This is what happened next: 1. Arrive at Abeita Glass Wednesday at 11:00 am. Ken said due to the bad weather parts for the appointment before me arrived from Albuquerque late. He asked me if could come back hour or hour and half later. 2. I get back to Abeita Glass at noon. Ken said his noon appointment arrived and will have to work on that first. I said to him that I have an 11:00 am slot and should go first. He apologized and asked if I could reschedule. I just said, "that is not going to happen." I did not pursue it since he did not know common courtesy that it was not worth doing business here. We were stiffed once maybe even twice. I cannot recommend this shop for any type of work.

Called about a water leak. Was told to submit $800 deposit. Workers would come following day. (June…read more12,2026). Owner called and said bill could be higher if detection needed. Said bill would include travel from Gallup to Grants and back. Should've listened to alarm bells. Workers arrived at 10am next day. I showed them the wet spot next to home. No detection required. They dug down to leak. Workers didn't have repair parts/pipe. Workers said the if local hardware didn't have parts they would have to return to Gallup and get parts there and I should put water in tubs or something. I asked them to check local shop. They left and returned half hour later. The workers went to leak and realized they purchased wrong size pipe and had to go back to store. More red flags!! They were in a large plumbing service vehicle and should've had parts in my opinion. Anyway, they repaired the leak and started refilling the hole. I told them to stop and I would finish filling the hole. They had me sign that they'd done the job. I asked for an invoice and they said one would be emailed to me. Saturday passed. No invoice. I sent an email today to the shop asking about the invoice. Minutes later I get a call from the owner, berating me for asking for an invoice. Red flag!! Owner said he called because he thinks I was wrong for asking for invoice. He was quite nasty. He informed me that he was working on the invoice and that it wouldn't be a detailed invoice!!! Red flag!! I protested that I should get an itemized invoice. His reply was "you got running water right?". The owner is not honorable and that was not the correct way to treat a paying customer. I am a 20 year retired US Army 100% disabled veteran. I expect to be treated better than this. I would not treat anyone that way. So, I got an email with the non-itemized invoice. The cost had been upcharged to $1551.17!!!! Without itemization on the invoice how do I know if it was legitimate. Do not ... I repeat .... do not use this business. The owner and the business are not on the level. I will provide a copy of the invoice so you can see what I am saying. I paid the bill, but wish I had gone somewhere else.
