Within 30 minutes of my calling in to AAA, Jason from Ricci and Son's Towing was in my driveway ready to help. I did request him to replace the 7 year old battery original to my car and he was happy to do it. He was pleasant, efficient and knew what he was doing. My day began being inconvenienced but the morning ended with me being able to go on my way to stock up with some groceries for our next snow storm and not having to worry about my little SUV not being in service. I am an 80 year old widow who appreciates nice young people who are proficient in their job and kind and thoughtful to we senior citizens. We also asked for a quote on our hood latch release, as it was no longer able to pop the hood. They completed and passed the inspection, and gave us a quote for something like $400 for the hood release. I'm handy and that quote seemed ridiculous, so we declined the extra work and I said I'd do it myself. Less than a month after getting the car back, the front brakes started to grind. We're talking metal on metal. How is this possible? They just looked at it and should have failed it for pad depth, or at least *warned* us about it. I've attached photos to show the blatant neglect and disregard for safety (and the law). I highly doubt they looked at anything if they missed something so brazen. As for the hood latch, my lazy self finally got around to doing it. The only issue was a $11 bracket being bent. The whole mechanism didn't need to be replaced, but they wouldn't know because they didn't look at that either. Looking at all these positive reviews is perplexing. As someone who does all their own car maintenance and basic repairs, this is the most dishonest experience I've ever had with an auto shop. Since the business seems to be monitoring the reviews page, the car was a 2016 Kia Optima on 6/16/2022, owner's initials are BB.

The last two times I brought it here they had a hard time getting the work done,and had every excuse to why it wasn't done. The last time I was here I was told my truck would be done Friday after 4 so I came on Monday and my truck hadn't been moved. Tom the owner won't get on the phone when you call.
