My son brought his friend and I here after helping him move apartments. He and his friend visit a PJs a few times a month to enjoy their wings, although this was my first visit to a PJs and their first visit to this location. We ordered a couple of types- Korean bbq and pickled something. The kids quickly noted that the pickled version wasn't saucy, tasted dry, and was flavorless compared to prior visits. They seemed to know their wings and the PJs standard to be aware something was off. I mentioned to the server and she indicated that corporate HQ changed the sauciness of the wings and they weren't that way anymore unless requested. The kids were taken back by this and noted it's the sauce that makes them good, and that these were dry and flavorless. I had to agree as a new customer to PJs that they were flavorless and comparable to a natural wing. We all thought the boneless Korean bbq wings were decent. The restaurant is nicely situated with a mix of tables and bar area with TVs scattered throughout showing sporting events. We visited on a Saturday so college football was displayed. We left confused and wondering if the change in wings was the new norm or a one-off. The server was nice and attentive to start but never came to ask us how the food was until we were nearly done and I volunteered concerns from the group. We came here after a late night movie, and I appreciated the late hours on a Friday night. They closed at 1am. The seating was nice, there were tvs all over with the latest sports game playing. The service was friendly but a little slow for 10pm, maybe they only have 1 server working, I didn't see any others. The food for me was not the best. I hate to waste food, however, I couldn't care less about taking my leftovers home. The buffalo chicken dip was dry not creamy like I'd expected, maybe left in the oven too long. The buffalo chicken egg rolls were hard and dry as well. The brussel sprouts were okay. Those that ordered the chicken tenders and loaded tots said they were good and the cookie dessert was good. We visited PJ Whelihan's in Horsham on a Tuesday for Wing Night, and it also happened to be my birthday, so expectations were high, and PJ's delivered. We came specifically for the wings, and if you're a wing lover, this is absolutely the place. The Wing of the Month, Sriracha Maple, was a great starting point. It's exactly what they describe: the perfect blend of heat and sweetness. It reminded me of their classic Hot n Honey, but with an extra kick and more sweetness. An excellent seasonal flavor! For my second order of ten wings I had to get five Hot n Honey, as I t remains the gold standard. Sweet, spicy, and consistently excellent. There's a reason it's a fan favorite. The other five of that order was the Flamin' Pickleback, which was bold, tangy, and spicy in the best way possible. If you love pickles and heat, don't skip this one. My third order of ten were five Sweet Chili and five Korean BBQ. Both were well-balanced and flavorful. Great choices! Between wing rounds, I ordered the sweet potato fries with horseradish sauce, and this combo deserves more love. The sweetness of the fries paired with the sharp, creamy horseradish is a great contrast and a sleeper hit. Highly recommend this order! My boys (ages 14 and 20) always get their burgers and they love the burgers at P.J. Whelihan's and always devour them. To finish the night, (since it was my birthday) I went with the Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet Sundae: warm cookie, cold ice cream, and pure comfort. A perfect way to end a birthday wing night. The service was solid. Our waitress was very pleasant, however she disappeared at times and we waited for drink refills and reorders longer than I felt we should have had to wait given that it didn't seem that busy at the time. We saw other servers pass us a number of times before our server revisited our table. This isn't the norm though. Their service is usually spot on. Overall, PJ Whelihan's in Horsham is a top-tier spot for wings, especially on Wing Night. Huge variety, consistently great flavors, and a fun, casual atmosphere. This is a takeout reviews. We've eaten there multiple times and the food was fine. The takeout, on the other hand, is awful. The wings are dried with few small pieces of bitter celery. The chicken caesar wrap has perhaps 4 pieces of chicken and is bland (same wrap at Wawa is half the price and tastes much better.) Blue bell location is better. I was very excited to find out that a this location was opening since it's near my house! But after giving this place a try for months, I rather drive to the blue bell location. First the service, it's very slow. Sometimes you get a decent server sometimes you don't. It's such a hit more miss. They were also far from apologetic when the kids hotdog we ordered had a MOLD on the bread. When we told the server, they said "that's pretty gross" and just ordered us another hotdog. Second the food. We love Pjs for their wings but...this location still did not master the receipt. It's so blend and flavorless. They also forget to give celery and carrots 50% of the time...but you can't even ask your server for it since you never see them once your food gets delivered Lastly the ambiance. Being that it's a new place, they do have a very nice building. It's spacious and they have great outdoor seating. On a Tuesday it was busy enough but not overwhelmingly loud and people could talk, which I consider a plus. The service was prompt and fine. No, the servers don't knock you over with "bless your heart" friendliness but they get the orders right and keep things moving. Save yourself the trouble and take your business somewhere that actually values and respects its customers. My experience here was awful! I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life while dining at a restaurant! The waitress we had rushed us to order, then gave us the check as soon as the food came out! I felt like saying- "If you don't want US here, just say that!" She was extremely cold to me and made me feel like I wasn't supposed to be there. She kept spraying something from a bottle and sweeping right next to our table as we tried to eat which was extremely rude. And to add insult to injury, the food was terrible. The wings were undercooked and tasteless. Half of the wings were hot and the other half cold which made no sense. The pot stickers were at room temperature, not cooked all the way and tasted like absolutely nothing! I felt like they just thew stuff on a plate and sent it out. Maybe it was done on purpose? Maybe it wasn't. Who knows. Unfortunately I decided to just pay for the meal without asking for a manager. The whole experience was overly exhausting and I just wanted to get out of there. I am conflicted with my rating for this restaurant/bar. I recently spent Super Bowl Sunday and the following lunch at the establishment, with decidedly mixed results. Super Bowl Sunday. The place was packed to the gills and I was able to secure a seat at the bar. My libation of choice at PJ's is the PJ's Copper lager, a Marzen style lager served in a 22 oz glass at a great price. And it didn't disappoint. The food on the other hand, was a mixed bag. The pretzel bites served with cheese sauce was good. The pretzels were nugget sized and covered with kosher salt. The cheese sauce accompanied them very well. The less successful dish was the wings, a simple classic wings in mild sauce. The five wings were sitting in a pool of the sauce, were made up of both wings and drummers. However they were so dry I was not sure they were pigeon or fowl. It did make me wonder if I was served wings that had been precooked for the Super Bowl rush. Epic fail. I returned the next day for lunch to try the sriracha smash burger. Two four oz Pattie's with pickles, lettuce tomato and a spicy aioli. Chips accompanied the burger. When someone tells me they are serving a smash burger, I expect the burger to be pressed down, with a beautiful brown crust on each side. Instead these patties were grey and soft. Fail number 2. I really want to like the brand and the location. They have so much potential and the service is everything I could ever ask in a bar. But if a place cannot execute wings and a burger, it makes you question whether one should spend their hard earned money at an establishment. The wings were fantastic. They were perfectly cooked--a nice crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. There's many sauces to choose from and I liked the sweet chili. There was plenty wings to eat and take home depending on the amount you order. The sweet potato fries were perfect with just the right cut and flavor. This was my first time at this festive sports bar restaurant. There were plenty of tvs to watch all the March Madness games. There were two hostesses at the entrance. One was friendly, the other one did not speak at all. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the food suggestions. My margarita was pretty good. The house nachos were tasty however, I think they would have been better if some sort of black beans or refried beans were added. The menu had a lot of choices which was definitely appreciated. After I ate the brussel sprouts and nachos, I was somewhat full, but I ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries entree. It was also pretty tasty. I've had my eye on P.J. Whelihan's for quite some time. It's always busy when I drive by. A couple people were getting take out at the front, which led me to believe we'd definitely be waiting a bit for a table, but my mom and I got seated right away. High top tables seemed to be the only option available, though. Our waitress was a doll. She took care of us and answered our questions about the menu as it was our first time there. I was insanely impressed with the beer selection. There are so many options to choose from! They have beers, seltzers and ciders displayed on several of their flat screen televisions. For my meal, I got the Beyond Burger and upgraded my chips to French fries. You can also choose tator tots, sweet potato fries, onion rings or famous fries for an additional cost. The bun was plump and and the garlic aioli sunk into the burger and gave it a phenomenal flavor. I consider P.J. Whelihan's to be a chill spot to grab a beer on the weekend while watching the game. As others have mentioned, the service at this particular location is pretty abhorrent, but it isn't due to a lack of friendliness. I have made about 5 visits so far, and every time, the staff is friendly but the food service is intolerably slow. All 5 visits (mix of lunch time and dinner) were met by drinks taking anywhere from 10-20 (!!!) minutes for non-alcoholic sodas and water, another 20-30 minutes for any apps, and topping it all off with yet another 20-45 (!!!) minutes for mains. This was every...time... Once the food actually comes out, the quality is actually decent and within expectations for a PJs. Only once was the food cold even with the slow service. Unfortunately, I just don't think I can go back unless I'm prepared to be there for 2 hours. read more

Took 2 adults & 2 kids for dinner. The mac & cheese on the kids menu is just Kraft & since she needed another order to fill her up it was almost $20. for a 4 yr old. The cheesesteak eggrolls were disgusting & way overcooked! The French Onion soup was good. Our server got part of the order wrong...didn't she write it down? (One of my pet peeves.) Since she didn't check in at our table, we had to flag her down several times, as in she brought our food then it sat while she went to find silverware & napkins. Well where to start went here on Saturday around 2:30 on 5/3 got seated right away and that's about the only good service we got. After being seated for 15 mins someone finally came to get our drinks mind you it's just 2 people. We finally got someone to get our drinks and take the food order well let me tell you the appetizer came out after 20 mins and that's was cheesesteak egg rolls. After we finished that we were still waiting on the food to come out for 30-40 mins that was a salad and chicken fingers with tater tots. Took another 20 mins before I could get another drink when mine was empty and another 5 mins to get some cheese sauce. After we were done eating we waiting another 20 mins before we had to grab someone to try to get our check. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a pjs. Amazing flavor, portion size, atmosphere, staff. On a work trip near Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and I decided to try this place out cause I was wanting some wings. This place totally blew me away. The wings are MASSIVE. So much more meat on each wing than you'd find at another restaurant. I got the Old Bay seasoning, and I strongly recommend it. Fantastic flavor. My food came to my table about 5 minutes after ordering, not a bad wait at all. The atmosphere here is modernized but it remains pretty classic. Leather booths, nice wood tables. The entire restaurant was clean and I felt like I was eating at an above average restaurant. Staff was super friendly and understanding.
