Communication and the booking process was super easy and organized on her website. She always responded in a timely manner. She addressed all my questions and concerns. The design team that she works with is amazing and brought my vision for the balloon backdrop to life. She works with her partner/husband Ed who was also super nice and helpful; he came down to help us with our belongings when we got to the studio. The studio was so clean and airy looking; it was the perfect spot for photos with natural lighting. Melissa really showed her expertise and comfort level in taking wonder shots of our son and of us. She was able to direct us on how and where to pose and also adjust things like fixing my hair or adjusting my legs/heels so that they would not look awkward (not all photographers will do this, this comes with experience). We never felt rushed and Melissa was patient with our son. We had some suggestions after we got the edited pictures back and Melissa never made us feel bad about doing the editing over again until we were satisfied.
