It's so nice to see such a place like this go into town. As soon as you enter, you are immediately hit with the light scent of homemade goodness (or maybe that's just the lavender and goat milk soap!) I wish I could just bottle it up and have my home smell like that. Everything on sale in here is made by local artisans. From deodorant, decorative candles, soaps and scrubs, wine glasses and mugs, wooden furniture and signs, beauty products, clothing....there is truly something unique here for everyone. Lots of organic and fair trade items as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Stephani, one of the owners while we (my son and I) were there and she is just the sweetest. Additionally, they will be hosting events in this space as well. I think along the lines of Mommy & Me classes and adult wine/art nights. But that this is of little consolation to a person who is making a medical purchase. Specifically, dry eye eye drops. I was looking for a product that was selling for $26.49 but that the product was unavailable and the next equivalent product was selling for $29.99, $3.50 higher; the lower priced products had chemical preservatives which I am sensitive to. I went to the customer service desk seeking a small discount and I was denied any discount consideration. This was not the courtesy I expected at the customer service desk. I left feeling not just exactly right about the whole experience. No compassion, no courtesy.

Y'see, if there was some reason (many thefts after 6pm via the changing rooms, or just "company policy") than I suppose that might make sense, but to say "So What" and walk away is stupid and rude. Aside from losing a $200 sale, you lost a customer FOR LIFE. Since Amazon's prices are WAY less.... you have only TWO advantages: A customer's ability to try things on for size, and face-to-face customer service. Flush those two things down the toilet, then DON'T be so surprised when your store is chosen to be shut down.
