Every business is going to have a bad review especially in this industry from people who are hurt, grieving feel slighted or unfortunately entitled. Every situation in life isn't perfect. But people expect vets to be God and often unload and direct their pain in the wrong place. Vets are humans too and over the last few years if you have been paying attention, the veterinary industry has been taking a serious beating and vet suicides are way up. During covid so many people got pets and the need for veterinary care - during a time when contact had to be limited - shot up to record breaking levels that vets have not been able to keep up with. People have no idea what goes on behind the scenes, how inundated vets and their staff are, how harsh people can be and how emotionally taxing it is to deal with trying to save every innocent animal that comes through the doors. Even the best of the best lose patients but certainly not for a lack of trying. I work in the pet care industry and it becomes so frustrating and emotionally difficult trying not only to provide the best for my clients but trying to do so individually, for each animal, each client and each situation all the while trying to provide for the animals while simultaneous answering incoming questions, trying to accommodate requests and trying to be kind, considerate, accommodating and trying to put myself in owners shoes. I'm only one person. I cannot do it all. And the same applies 10x more to veterinarians. ESPECIALLY those like Dr. Roiland who is trying to save lives, prioritize emergencies and assure and comfort owners in distress. Compassion fatigue in the pet care industry is REAL and veterinarians suffer the most from the attacks on them by people who are hurting, angry, feel wronged, need someone to blame and feel some sense of validation or closure by writing a negative review for someone whose behind the scenes they have absolutely no concept of. No one is perfect. I am not saying that. But it's important to know that Dr. Roiland is neither malicious or uncaring and is quite a knowledgeable and experienced vet who truly cares about what he does and those he cares for. I have sympathy for those whose pets are struggling, sick, injured, suffering or in need - I am a pet parent and lover who knows the very real and deep attachment between humans and animals. I'm just here to say - Dr. Roiland - you have been amazing to me and all my animals over the years. And I can say that many of my clients who come to you - for years - share the same sentiment. I feel your pain certainly on a smaller scale but understand nonetheless how incredibly challenging your job - which never ends even when you come home - can be. Keep your head up, know how wonderful you are, continue your kind replies to the clients who feel wronged, slighted or are just in pain and know you are doing the very best, are one of the best and are appreciated by many more than the negative reviews here. Covid has been unkind in more ways than one and has shifted this world! But don't let that change how truly wonderful you are as a human being and at what you do.

After spending thousands throughout the years, I was told that I have to pay for a well visit and get new vaccinations done in order them to cut his nails. It seems as though, they have a rule that unless you spend $400 per visit, they won't see your animal. Nail trim is only $25 so they have to get you for something else. I can understand if the dog was a new patient or was sick, but no. This left a real bad taste in my mouth and I will be looking for a new practice who cares more about the animal and not the $$.
