Michael Nowak was the funeral director who worked with us each time and he was with us each step of the way. The services we had were more than just a funeral, they were a real celebration of my loved ones lives. The funeral chapel had just undergone a renovation and it is beautiful inside. All in all, everything could not have gone better. I really appreciate all that Mike and his staff did for my family. I would highly recommend Church and Allen and will definitely use them again in the future.

There were only three people working and they were the rudest and most disrespect individuals that I had ever seen at my aunts wake and funeral last week. The one young guy who kept telling everyone that he was the director was an idiot. In our time of grieving, he just trying to crack jokes. I wan't to punch him in the face. They didn't tell anyone at the funeral what cemetery to go to. They didn't help anyone into our out of cars. They didn't help with controlling traffic. Several friends and family members that went to services stated that the staff there were extremely rude. We had one relative that uses a walker and handicap entrances to enter into building. It took three adults to assist her getting into the funeral home due to the overgrown plants that were blocking the entrances. When you entered the funeral home, they didn't greet you or direct you where to go, they just stood there. And it anyone asked a question they didn't answer or were just rude. I cannot believe the disrespect from this funeral home establishment in my families time of pain and sorry. Do no use Church and Allen Funeral home services.

Old and vast…read more The Old Hopkinton Cemetery is an old and very large graveyard. Sprawling and rolling hills makes this an interesting place for a walk among some historic and fascinating memorials to the deceased. Looks like there is still a lot of room in the cemetery, its seems every hill you go over shows more room still available for residents. Lot of very old gravestones mixed in with much newer ones. A strange cemetery that seems to mix in the different ages, shapes and styles. Some of the grave memorials are quite huge and elaborate while others are in very poor condition. All broken and sunk with some that can hardly be seen because of trees and bushes growing all around them. Obvious that some of these graves are long forgotten while others are still properly cared for. Definitely gives the old graveyard a mysterious and morose atmosphere. A lovely place with ancient stone walls all around and some nice views. One of the larger historic cemeteries in the state and one you can spend a long time just walking, looking and remembering.
