He was able to give us good advice on what to do with our crappy dishwasher (we are thinking of getting rid of it and not replacing it), he fixed the issue we've been having with our stove for 4 years, and he fixed a problem with the fridge that another appliance repair service said couldn't be fixed. Told me units aren't normally caulked in but having been a builder for 43 years I knew this was a false statement. Being he did not have proper tool I then got knife and cut caulk. When repair was finished without cleaning up after himself he demanded another $395 without $130 service call credit as originally agreed. As he promised, Scott showed up between 1 and 2pm the same day. So far, I was impressed. He pulled the refrigerator out and listened for a few minutes, said the compressor is gone and stated that he did not do that kind of repair. Other than advising that we should not have purchased an LG (it is 4 years old and high end), he did no other work and handed me an invoice for $75. I figure that works out to about $300 an hour for worthless advice. Would never call Appliance Pros again for any appliance repair.
