While my case was eventually resolved, the overall experience was extremely frustrating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a serious lack of consistent communication. I was passed around between multiple staff members--Victoria, Ana, Olivia, Chris, Autumn and others--with no clear point of contact or follow-through. Getting updates felt like pulling teeth, and I often had to reach out multiple times just to find out what was going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also asked for a reduction in their fee due to these communication issues, which directly impacted my ability to refer others to the firm during that time. The request was flat-out denied without any acknowledgment of how their poor handling affected me. To top it off, even months in, they were still asking for basic documents they should have had from the start--like my children's Social Security numbers. This is the worst law firm that I have ever dealt with. My husband is going through a workers comp claim. We have had at least 3 different points of contact. YOU have to do all the of the contacting and then IF your lucky they might call you back or response to your email.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They told us an amount in July, we were fine with than months go by and in October/early November they say they are ALL of sudden trying to get more money. Their clients most definitely do not come first. Not professional at all. Haven't gotten a call, email from them since I last saw the investigator this past Friday(November 22) This last review caught my attention because they said they made them feel safe and important. That's NOT the case. They don't care, the investigator made me sign all these documents and I did because I felt like she cared and it felt promising, that's was my mistake. I was in a hurry to find someone, someone efficient and trustworthy, I was sold by the person who contacted me after I wrote them a message through yelp. Again, they were attentive and their voice seemed promising...but little did I know, they don't care. I called yesterday(Monday the 25th) and they didn't pick up their phone, I called again but this time using (*67) and they answered right away, I was suppose to get transferred to Jacqueline but instead I was transferred to another person who didn't answer and I left a voicemail. I called again today, they did the EXACT same thing, transfer me to someone who wouldn't pick up. If they are reading this, I no longer want anything to do with your service, you never provided...because instead of sending a lawyer to actually go over the paperwork and have me sign you had a 27 year old girl who was shy and didn't know what she was doing...and she was 45 minutes late to my house. I would not trust this law office, save time and go somewhere else. I will continue looking. UPDATE: December 07 2019 Adolfo calls me at 10:47am while I'm at work, I receive a text from him saying he has information regarding my "case"? I couldn't answer because again I was AT WORK. I stepped outside to return his call because I didn't know who it was at the time, I thought I made it CLEAR to this office that I DO NOT WANT their SERVICE! He was pushy, he was apologizing, but it wasn't sincere. He kept cutting me off while I was trying to explain why I don't want their service, he did not want me to hang up. I heard him out and after I told him NO for the 10th time he said "could you take the yelp review down then?" I was shocked! Why would you tell me to take down an HONEST review? Why? This IS my HONEST review about this law firm! For one, they don't want to communicate with their potential client at all and then they try to talk on top of you and tell you to take down a review that was 100% true! ITS LONG BUT WORTH THE READ: When considering a workman's comp attorney, please do your research. Up until the time I had hired my attorney, I had never filed a workman's comp claim before. I had no idea what to expect and I certainly did not know the ins and outs of the whole process. There were times during the process when I had incredible difficulty getting in touch with my caseworker. There were multiple instances when I wouldn't get any sort of response, so I can certainly understand the one-star review that another person posted on this page.       With that being said, it would be dishonest for me not to take some blame since I wasn't as proactive as I probably should have been. This may be the case for the one star review, but of course, I cannot speak for them. As far as my case was concerned, it was settled and I am very satisfied with the results. I believe that the people at Pacific Attorney Group would have fought for me as long as necessary, but to be honest I was growing tired with how the long and tedious legal process.     While my case was going through the court system I had a lot of personal family issues arise and I just wanted everything to be over with, so as soon as I was able to settle, I did. Pacific Attorney Group made sure that the settlement process went as fast and as smoothly as possible. When I injured myself at work I encountered a lot of harassment and unwarranted judgement by staff and administration. As a plus sized woman I'm used to such prejudices, yet this company was refusing to cover my knee surgery until I had lost an impossible amount of weight in an unrealistic time frame.    The staff at Pacific Attorney Group made sure that I was represented fairly and for the most part, they made me feel like I mattered. I worked with Mike Becerra and my caseworker was Nicholas and also spoke to a young gentleman named Adan. Mike has amazing Rapport skills and is most definitely a charmer. He is very experienced and the few times that I spoke to him he definitely made me feel secure and comfortable with everything that they were doing to get me what I needed.     In the beginning, Nicolas was difficult to work with because I felt that I wasn't being listened to. I did talk to Mike about that and afterwards Nicholas and I were able to communicate just fine and in the end I very much appreciated his attentiveness. What I liked about speaking with Adan was that even though he was just doing an intake he was willing to answer any questions I had and gave me his email in the event that I wasn't happy with Nicolas or if I couldn't get a hold of Mike and I very much appreciated that.     There were instances when I would have appreciated more direct communication. The only time I had to go to court during the process, I was somewhat uneasy because Mike could not show up and another attorney named Alex took his place. Even though I was weary of an unannounced replacement, Alex was very much a charmer and knew exactly what he was talking about. I recommend that you just take a deep breath and put your faith in this attorney group. I was certainly happy that I did. This is By far the most unprofessional law office Ive ever done business with.My dad has had a case with them that has been going on for 5 years, and this case was completely neglected by this office since day one. All his staff are unprofessional and they keep changing every month. It's basically like a zoo and no one really knows what they are doing.They don't answer your phone calls and they don't take care of any problems. They just tell you to leave a message and no one ever calls you back. The main lawyer, Payam Shayani who also calls himself Mark is never taking care of the cases, and the cases are handled by New lawyers that just graduated and don't know really what they are supposed to do. Our case settled for the minimum possible offer after 5 years of going back and forth and they still didn't give us our share after 6 months of making all kinds of excuses. Mandy, the office manager is the worst of all, poor management and very rude. They already have several complaints with the California Bar Assosiation, which I strongly suggest You look at before choosing him to represent you.Dont be fooled by his good reviews on google, they probably ask people to write it for them, because this is not a 5 star law firm. If I could rate them below zero I would. In fact I just filed a complaint myself and I never complain about anything. I called a few firms about a situation I was having at work. Most of the law firms that I contacted were quick to get me off the phone as they didn't have a case. My last call was picked up by Mike who let me speak till I was done explaining exactly what was going on. Unprofessional. The only time they are attentive is when they want you to open a claim with them. otherwise good luck getting a hold of anyone you actually need. They sent me initial paperwork a month after I signed up. They didn't give me a business card or anything, no information on how I should be conducting now that the case is open. The assistants hate answering any questions and they don't answer the phone, they cut you off and make excuses as to why things aren't moving forward.
