Arturo is amazing and always gives me the best haircuts. Vibe is chill there and the staff are always cool.

I have had mostly good experiences here up until the last 2. Most of the guys do a great job. In 2024 I got a haircut from an older lady. She gave me a horrible haircut. This made me stop going there. Today I was driving past and thought I'd try them again. The old lady (I believe her name is Nancy) was the only one available, but I figured I'd give her another chance. Big mistake! She was condescending the whole time. I asked to leave 3 inches on the top, and she cut off most of my hair leaving barely an inch on the top. I told her this was not 3 inches. She held up 3 fingers like a salute and said, See? 3 inches! I said, lady, a finger-width is not the same as an inch. I showed her a credit card and told her that a credit card width is over 2 inches, and her supposed 3 inches was less than that. I even held up the card against my head and explained to her that she left less than an inch of hair on my head. She got upset and told me that in hairdresser school, 3 fingers means 3 inches. I told her that even if that were true, her customers don't go to hairdresser school and for us normal folk, 3 inches is 3 inches, not 1 inch. The insane part was that even when she put her 3 fingers against my head, it was longer than the hair on my head. When I called her out on it she asked me to get out. She said, I don't want your money, just leave. Wow, way to treat your customers. TLDR, the old lady that works here doesn't know how to cut hair. If you do go here, try to wait for someone else to become available. read more

Been a client of Pacific Barbershop & Arturo (who previously worked at George's Barbershop) since I was a toddler in 2007. They do good work on my longer high & tight haircut. Price is reasonable. Be aware though that the lines can get long. Only locals will use the backdoor entrance. Sometimes if I'm in a rush I'll use the lady or another barber but I do prefer Arturo. read more

Just a really good barber. I get my beard trimmed up here. Ive had two different barbers trim up my beard and they both did exceptional jobs. Although, there is a lady there who is a master with a straight razor. I am sure they are all great with the razor but hers cuts just right. Like mine right after I put a new hone on it. Great service, walk-ins, right price great joint. Weird music playing upstairs. I listen to industrial and this was harder than even that. I was waiting for the lights to go out and the glow sticks. Sadly my review is not a good one. Both my son's just came back from getting a haircut. The lady did it, dont know her name. They barbers made them wait and took care of others that were just walking in because i giess they knew them and my sons had to wait longer. Lady took about 15minutes to cut each of my sons hair and she did poorly job and to top it off she cut them. Vey very disappointed. They had to go on 15th and Gaffey to get it fixed by someone else. Thankfully they were able to fix it. I get it they are busy but not an excuse to charge and not do a proper job and cut them. Never again. I was gonna start taking my youngest there but after today, nope. 15th and Gaffey will be our new place. read more

The barbers are great when it comes to the work but when it comes to speed they are terrible. If you come here be ready to be here a long time because they don't stop talking or being on their phones. They usually take 20-35 mins doing haircut and 20-30 mins talking. Timing is everything in this area. Take too long and you have to go put money in the meter or you need to go move your car because the public parking nearby is only 2 hrs. read more

I recently moved back to San Pedro after being away for 20 years. I've tried a few barber shops in the area, but always seem to be displeased with the final outcome. I found this crew on yelp and gave them a call. They got me in the chair quickly, and did an excellent job with the cut. Skin fade and a beard line up can be difficult for some barbers, however I believe these guys could do it in their sleep. I'll definitely be back, these guys are masters of their craft. read more

My friend roger sent me here after I was on the hunt for a barbor to cut my 3 year olds hair ... I was really nervous because the last person who cut his hair at a different shop did a horrible job. I believe it was aurturo who cut it, Idk exactly his name but they did an amazing job !
