Drove by and saw this barber shop off PCH. Called the number on the door and spoke to the owner asking if there was any availability. He states they accept walk ins and you don't need to make an appointment, that there were a few ahead of me if I went now. So I walk in right after I hung up since I was calling from the parking lot to see one barber working and a customer walking out with no one sitting inside. I asked the barber if he had time for a cut and he says the next cut he would be able to take is at 2pm. Mind you it is 11am and no one is in the shop. That's 3 hours from now. I have nothing but good things to say about Headquarters. Tony is a man skilled in using clippers, shears and the razor. His fades are smooth, his tapers are clean. I've seen men walk out of here, with wavy hair, thin hair, or hair like mine, thick and difficult, always looking sharp. To really top it all off customer service is a class above. Tony works with you so you get what you're looking for, usually better. He goes out of his way to squeeze you in, but you never feel rushed and it's the only barber shop around open after 5pm. Tall guy on the end needs to get fired. When he asked what kind of haircut I replied with a "size 1 medium fade with no tapper." He then proceeded with "a shadow or skin tapper?" I responded with "no tapper." Proceeding with the haircut. The guy constantly kept going over the same spot about 30 times before moving on. Never asking how I wanted my sideburns, a lineup, rounded or square finish on the neck, beard, or anything else. During the haircut he kept slapping my head around and pushing his fingers into my ear. And when told a trim for the top he cut my curls in half. And trimmed more than half the length. He should be fired and have his license revoked. I did not want to pay $17 for someone to fuck up my hair. My lady is my witness to this. read more

Horrible... I showed The guy a picture of how my son wanted his mohawk (Basic mohawk) and the haircut was not even close he basically did nothing . I said that doesn't look anything like a mohawk he said the hair wasn't long enough I said OK can you at least shape it like a mohawk and we will wait for the hair to get a little longer he still couldn't do it... long story short two other barbers had to assist him on how to finish it to make it look decent!! And let's not talk about the wait.. don't go in without an appointment it's pointless !!!! Honestly had to take him to Supercuts afterwards. read more
