Shark at the front was really cool! I loved the staff! They were very helpful and friendly. There was an unlimited amount of merchandise too. I found everything I needed!! Also made custom t-shirts for my whole family (decals are free) ! Very clean and organized store. Definitely recommend coming to check it out :)

The walk path as many others have referenced are covered, which makes it nice when it's a very hot day. Also, the paths are so wide that you don't feel like you are crowded on top of one another. There are maps throughout so you can grab one easily versus trying to wing it. I also appreciate that they have a food court and various ice cream and coffee shops so if you need a quick bite it is easily accessible to you. Found parking to be easy to navigate and there are several different sections and lots. I didn't find a ton of discounts for reduced prices compared to what I would have expected for an outlet, but it's still fun to kill time when you are looking for something other than the beach to do. Who doesn't love retail therapy?

When I am visiting my family down South in Myrtle Beach, SC my father and I always find the need to…read morevisit the Tanger Outlets for one reason or another. It's usually for sneakers and while my Dad leans on New Balance of late, I've been hooked on Asics for the past few years and that leads me to one of the issues I encountered on this visit. Asics had closed their outlet store a few weeks prior to my paying the family a visit. Sure Pop found something he liked at NB but I was off my plan and needed to figure this out before we headed home. Now its important to know that there are so many shops of all different variety here at the Tanger outlet but I do not advise wandering around aimlessly to find them and instead grabbing one of the maps that are readily available and using it tactically. It's South Carolina after all and can be very very hot at times. I'd suggest that you arrive with a bottle of water to keep you hydrated and maybe a handerchief to dob the sweat off your brow. Oh yeah, also wear a hat, you can thank me later. Outside of the sneaker shops, my favorite stops are the entertainment shops, the places where one can find action figures, pops, and assorted t-shirts with pop culture characters or music icons. There are a number of snack stands and also little jewelry kiosks if you are looking for that kind of stuff. I recall a couple of refreshment stops like Ben and Jerry's but the others elude me as I cobble all of this together. You can hit their website and peruse and like I suggested, go in with a plan first and then noodle about. An important change I noticed this time around was a business office which offered some benches in air-conditioning and bathrooms for visitors to use. There are also a few vending machines with soft drinks, snacks and water, the latter being a very important need while shopping. There was a complimentary WiFi detected which I never mind having since it made check ins easier. That's all I've got on this one and can say that you will likely find yourself in the place for a couple of hours so do mark down where you parked since their lot is massive. Oh yeah and for those curious about the kicks. I decided on a couple of pair of Skechers, a brand I have not really owned many of but these were comfortable and was happy to give them a try. I walk quite a bit in my Big Apple Metropolis and need comfortable sneakers for that. Happy Shopping and remember....bring water :)

Two Blondes and a Moon Child Boho Village is a shop that I found on a fortunate whim...in large…read morepart due to not being able to find them on Yelp. The physical sign on the outside of the shop simply says "Boho", but the full name of the shop is Two Blondes and a Moon Child Boho Village. The woman working at the shop the day I stopped in said that the sign was shortened to make it more affordable (completely understandable)....but I wanted to open up my review with that clarification in case any other Yelp-dependent types of customers were confused as to what kind of shop "Boho" was. Now. That being said. I'm really heartbroken that I didn't discover this place earlier because I'm completely in love. It's in a great, easily-accessible location with plenty of free parking. Right off of 17, directly behind the Starbucks, right across the street from Gator Hole Plaza (the one with the NMB Walmart). The shop's inventory is almost completely comprised of items created by local artisans and venders. Unlike other types of shops along the cost, I was blown away at the variety of items, the quality, and the affordability. I've visited similar shops in the Outer Banks, Carolina Beach, Southport, Wilmington, Charleston, Myrtle Beach proper, etc...and while many of them have beautiful pieces, they are over-the-top pricy, even by local artist standards, and seem to be incredibly marked up to better profit from the tourists. That is not the case at Two Blondes and a Moon Child. Although this would be an amazing spot for anyone visiting from out of town to find unique finds to take home with them...it's also a spot that NMB locals can frequent and enjoy. Although it wasn't listed as one of the Yelp categories, this is also very much a spiritual shop...so much so that I actually put in a request to update the categories in an effort to help more customers find this space, as there's not really anything else like it in the NMB area specifically. There are so many pieces with pagen/earthy/witchy energy. Although it's not a store that solely specializes in this and is eclectic, there is a decent collection of crystals, incense, candles, spells jars, tarot cards, jewelry, and lots of other elements that could be worked into a practice. I was very excited that this is also a community space with a decent number of events that go on. Apparently everything is updated on the store's Facebook page, and there are often events such as tarot readings, sound bathing, resin and candle making classes, fairy hair offerings, reiki, and a weekly Wednesday mediumship circle. I truly hope that the Yelp business name and category can be updated soon so this gorgeous local establishment can connect with its ideal customer base and keep going. Such a lovely and unique space that I know others will love as much as I do.

I couldn't walk out of the shop without making a purchase which is SO out of character for me. The shopkeeper was friendly and helpful and I felt no pressure at all.
