They were very upfront in letting us know that even with this new part, our fireplace may not work. Sam our technician was out at our house for over an hour, and he was trying everything he could to get this new part to work to light the pilot light. He had a candid conversation with us and said I will try one more solution, but I don't think it's going to work. The next thing we knew, he actually got the pilot light to light. Without his patience and sheer diligence, we would have paid for an almost $800 part that was worthless. he was so apologetic when he had to deliver the initial bad news, and we were all so happy when he actually made the fireplace work. The property was empty so I asked them to let me know when it was complete and to send photos of the work. They failed to do either. I paid all but 1.5%, because I wanted proof of completion. After 6 months (!) someone texted a grainy photo of somebody's attic from which I am supposed to accept that it is mine and then insisted on full final payment. They failed to provide notice that they were coming to take a picture which is highly unprofessional for a rental property in particular. I do NOT recommend using this company.
