This is the Norstrom rack located in Pacific Common , just across from Target . It is nice to have the Norstrom rack so that we don't have to drive far to go to the San Jose store . This location has a lot of merchandise, organized and friendly staffs . They have 2-3 cashiers but the line moved slow because of many customers and the popularity . Now it is closer to Mother's Day and they have some pretty cotton tote bags for $15 and some perfume for $35 . A section with many Kate spade purses are on sale for 75 % off . I like to come early on the weekday morning so that I don't have to wait for a fitting room . All the merchandises are restore nicely in the morning. Enjoy my shopping at this Norstrom rack. It is very convenient for me to pick up my on line item here and do not need to drive to Palo Alto or west San Jose. read more

This place is ok. I noticed that in comparison to other Nordstrom racks, the variety and selection is not quite as good. I think that the Palo Alto location is much better at getting a variety of brand names and has better selection. Like most Nordstrom Racks this one is a little disheveled, with goods everywhere, but that's to be expected. The biggest part that was disparaging is the self care products like facia cremes, lotion, and hygiene goods. They have Kiehls brand items but are selling the for regular price? I thought that the Nordstrom Rack was a discounted retailer, but in this case it's unfortunately not. I'll probably only come back when I'm really in need of something, but unfortunately not as fun of a shopping experience at this location. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is located at Pacific Commons in Fremont. As someone who is on a millenial budget, I don't really wear designer brands much - more so because I find that expensive clothes are not worth the price. However, if I do want to find a "designer" purse or a nice looking pair of jeans, I like to browse at Nordstrom Rack. They have good deals on cute purses (like Guess, Michael Kors, etc.) - and it's a much better deal than going to Valley Fair to buy them. Also, I like that this Nordstrom Rack is fairly organized and clean. And less walking to do then going to the Great Mall to find a deal. Recently I had a gift card that was given to me for Nordstrom, and I discovered I could also use it at Nordstrom Rack. Great! Organized store, friendly staff, Just not enough people on the floor. I used to shop here a lot and now looking for help from employees is really hard when there's only a few people on the floor...ridiculous! and they're already working really hard I feel almost guilty asking for help. When I asked if they're hiring because the store looks empty they promptly said no. I feel terrible for the employees! On top of that the mess in shoes is hell on earth!! I like this store, it has a variety of items at a decent price. Just had a bad experience with a cashier today. When I was next in line, she was busy talking to her colleague, didn't even bother to say "Next in line". I enjoy going to this location when my car is being serviced. I walk over from the dealership, it's about a 15-20 minute walk. It's clean and well stocked. I end up having great finds with some of my usual skin products like the Shiseido Vitamin C serum and especially the leggings from 90 degree by reflex. I do most of my shopping online nowadays, but I love the convenience of pickups and returns at Nordstrom Rack now that they honor merchandise from Nordstrom stores as well. This was especially true during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale 2023. I placed my order on Wednesday evening, and my items were ready for pickup on Friday. After trying everything on at home, I then did my returns on Saturday. The pickup and return process was very quick and organized. There's a special line for order pickup, and they put everything in a cart for you and even offered to roll it out to the car for you. Nordstrom has a reputation of good customer service, and I'd say that extends to this Nordstrom Rack too. read more

I was in major need of some new shoes so I decided to check out Nordstrom Rack. COVID precautions: I was greeted at the front door by security and by another worker who was disinfecting and passing out shopping carts to those who needed one. The line was very short today, which was definitely nice. There was hand sanitizer for customers at the registered and near the front door. Cashiers disinfected the counter space after each customer. I found what I needed: The store was fully stocked. So, I found exactly what I was looking for- Adidas! I also stumbled upon some very comfortable Sperry's. 15 years ago I got my fav goretex jacket there. It has held up in hot and cold, rain and sunshine. I have gone there on and off over the last years, but due to my condition, I didn't go during the pandemic. Today when I visited, I was disappointed. The selection had been greatly reduced, and the merchandise clearly had dropped in quality while I was hunkering down at home. I'll give the rack a miss until things pick up. The Rack here is the best one I've been to so far. It's clean, well organized, with helpful sales associates. Most of the items are neatly stocked, not just thrown about. The merchandise is a higher end than say Emeryville or San Francisco. A fair selection of men's business clothing. For luggage, top brands like Tumi are at least 40-60% discounted. Was pleased to find things generally well organized with a better selection of extended sizes than one tends to see (2XL/38) in similar stores. I bought a pair of heels that I tried returning as it was within 30 days of purchase, I even had the receipt. The Caucasian female manager refused the return citing that it was unsellable which was not true. Guess what? I returned the same exact shoes in the same condition to Nordstrom Rack in San Leandro and they accepted it without hesitation. This is easily the lousiest NR I've been to and clearly not a reflection of the NR image (let's hope). I went at about 3:30 on 4/7/21 and the store was not busy. It was a complete jumble of disorganization. There were clothes on the floor and the clothes on the racks were a mess. I understand COVID has been an issue for everyone, but appearance is important for the retail business. So, if staff isn't busy, they need to clean up the place. The stock is lousy as well. There was zero in designer clothing, no skirts and the men's department had nothing much. The only bright light was a separate rack for women's cardigans, but why bother when it's not organized? The clothing was basic rejects like from Ross, not decent NR material. Pacific Commons is a loser. Not going back. read more

For years I'd laugh at people who purchased patio furniture for their shitty apartments. Today, I became one of those people. Turns out, I rather enjoy my mediocre apartment life... and especially enjoy adding crap like temporary apartment furniture, a laundry basket with wheels, and my new floor steamer. I ended up at Nordstrom Rack Fremont because I had to pull off the highway to pee during a treacherous 3+ hour commute and ended up walking out of here with a happily relieved bladder and two outdoor chairs that don't match but are comfyAF. *shrugs* This Nordstrom Rack has some actual furniture... that's something new right? I mean, they normally have some home goods but it's largely comforters and decorative pillows and shit. They have actual chairs and side tables here, which was interesting... obviously enough so that I walked out with 2 when I only came to pee. The rest of the store was pretty sub-par in terms of selection, besides the massive show section for women who wear a size 8 shoe- it's like 3 times the section for all other sizes. I looked through the accessories and they were hardly any on display. For clothing, I found myself looking through some racks but thinking, wow, clothing just isn't for me anymore. There wasn't a single display that looked cohesive or merchandised in any way- which was a major bummer until I remembered that I basically ran out of money 3 years ago so it was blessing more than a curse. And on the bright side, because there were so few things here worth buying, this is the first time I've ever been to a Nordstrom Rack where I didn't have to wait in a crazy long winding line. read more

I tried to return an item which you currently have on the selling floor for a size exchange you would not honor my request as you claimed my receipt showed the item to be over the time allowed for returns. I was not trying to return I was trying to exchange for size. You could have easily made the allowance but you choose to be rude and walk away from the counter after you dismissed me and my request. I have been shopping at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack for years and have always had wonderful experiences... not any more. The selling floor is always messy and unkept, your staff is always talking among themselves and ignoring customers that are patiently waiting on line. I would rather choose to go to another Rack but live only 3 miles away from Pacific Commons I would like to shop here!!! How have I never left a review for one of my favorite retailers?! I don't know. Maybe I'm selfish and want to keep these deals all to myself. But it's time to do my civic duty and tell everyone. Shop here when they have their clear the rack events! It means that there's an additional 25% off their already clearanced items! Why is this useful, you ask? Because I would rather invest in a pair of designer jeans that last me a minimum of several years. That and I've tried jeans from almost everywhere and they're usually ill-fitting or are poorly constructed. I digress- but I can't say enough about the amazing denim and boot deals I've scored here. I've spent as little as $15 on a pair of J Brand jeans. Or $100 on a pair of Frye boots. I think my most recent bargain was the Arizona Birkenstocks in black patent leather with a soft footbed for $60. You can find the occasional Marc Jacobs collection handbag here for a heavily discounted price too. The only thing is that you won't always find your size in clothes or shoes. So cross your fingers, say a prayer to the shopping goddesses, and visit often. One of those is bound to land you an amazing shopping deal. read more

Store is bright, nice, clean and organized. Clothes hung nicely on the racks. Shoes and purses were also displayed nicely. Everything made easy for shoppers to go thru. Lots of office workers shop during lunch hours. So, this store is always crowded. I don't know why they don't have anyone work at those express mobile checkouts. They only have 2-3 people work at cash registers. Waiting inline to pay is like 15-20mins. This is so inconvenience for shoppers who want to shop during their lunch hours. read more

Stay away from this place there clothes especially on the clearance rack is so gross. I picked up a few items and put it in my cart on my way to the cash register - I decided to look at the label and make sure the size is correct - I opened inside to look and I got grossed out on what I found human hair all over the inside of the men's sweater. and a hidden stain around the collar. This is so gross even during a pandemic unacceptable. I will never return to any nordstromrack again. I will be closing my card and not shop there. Clothing, accessories, hygienic supplies, shoes, even some misc. items for the house.. it's like a luxury Walmart, OK, maybe not Walmart but a luxury Target. I was after panties.. thongs.. boy shorts.. it's a wondrous place for this type of search because the area is labeled and categorized and the material/brand is marked cheaper than what it would be at an actual Nordstrom. I usually go to this Nordstrom rack since it's the closest to me and I was on the move to find a new suit for job interviews. Due to my illustrious time management skills, I got to the store at 6:15 (45 mins until closing) on a Sunday night looking for a suit. Regretting the decision to take a 45 min nap beforehand, I asked a lady if I could find some help in finding and pairing suits. And here is where my man George comes in and saves the day. When I took One of the shirts to the front counter to ask for an explanation, they told me that it must've been a customer taking a clearance tag off of a different item and placing it on this tag.
