I called and spoke with the receptionist Chris. He was very kind and was able to accept me as a new patient. I was able to be seen the same day! Upon walking in, the office is clean and spacious. Precautions for COVID were implemented. I filled out the new patient forms and my insurance was processed. Minh, one of the assistant was very professional, friendly, and compassionate. She quickly took an x-ray and explained to me what she was seeing. I know going to the dentist, especially after a long period can be daunting... the staff here are non-judgmental and very caring. Dr. Le is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and explains all of your options. She explains all the risks and benefits and then gives you her recommendation. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care. You will have a positive experience! I'm looking forward to coming back for all my future dental needs.

I've been to many different dentists here on the island, but I can honestly say he's the best dentist I've seen. A lot of dentists make you feel like they only care about the money, but Dr. Leong truly listened to my concerns and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable throughout the treatment. She was also gentle when flossing my teeth. Really nice and engaging guy, got to know him and his wife, who is also a dental hygentist, throughout these years. If you have HMSA, you're eligible for teeth cleaning twice a year so I see him about every 6 months. This morning I had my regular x-ray and cleaning, his other assistant was helping him out today, she's really nice too. Because of covid, he spaces his patients out an hour apart, and if they are sick or feeling any type of symptoms, to just hold off on your appointment and reschedule, which is great because the only people you come in contact with is him and his assistant. Dr also gives me new toothbrush and all the good stuff upon departure. I've also learned that he's a private pilot and we talk about flying since that's the industry I'm in!

While I've not been to many dentists throughout my life, Dr. Suzuki is the only dentist who does the health check. Her staff, front office, dental hygienists and assistants are great; personable, helpful and kind. Appointments for regular teeth cleaning is made before you leave your appointment. If there is any dental work needed, they have a network of specialty dentists they refer you to. If you have a dental emergency, Dr. Suzuki is readily available. Located in the Kuakini Medical Center, parking is never a problem. The office validates your parking stub but there remains a small fee at the toll booth. They definitely have expanded over the years and they've always expanded into other areas of medical treatment and I am absolutely here for it!!! I really love that they have expanded into optometry, mental health/therapy and even though I miss P&P (if you from Kalihi/KPT/KAM4, you know), I'm glad they took over that area and made it part of KKV. The growth of KKV with its expansion in multiple medical areas and it's extension to create more space for such things, I feel has done wonders for the community; especially with the fact that it's catering to an area where the demographic is statistically heavily populated with impoverished housing. The staff here is always helpful and respectful, even towards irate patients. I feel that because some of the old workers here have been here for years, the familiarity is very comforting with old timers (I speak of people who've been patients here for years) and they help the newbies learn how to help us and each other. Another thing I love about this clinic, is because they provide services to wide a demographic and folks that come from all walks of life, they translate a lot of their procedures/instructions, in different languages which I believe is a huuuuge difference from other clinics and helps people to find the answers they need to get the help they want/need. DURING COVID PANDEMIC: They have altered their clinic in ways where you can tell they have taken every precaution possible to enforce social distancing and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Most recently I had the same experience with the dental side which I was still a patient of until the latest development 2 days ago. This place is a Satanic Stronghold. I am 100% sure of that. Guaranteed! While especially the dental care is excellent otherwise; it is harder to navigate when under that kind of attack. I was not once but twice on Monday. I even cracked 2 ribs in the tumultuous atmosphere that created. I couldn't find my eyeglass case even though it was in plain sight. I reached under the chair I was sitting in looking for it and injured myself. All the while the case was right in front of me. I was so thrown off by the first attack that I was temporarily blinded. They used the method of "Double Tap Strike" to hit me twice. Another employee attacked me again before I had recovered from my injuries. That's low! I had to run out of there fast. It grieved me greatly because it was with staff I had a long standing relationship as well had built trust with. So much for respect and loyalty. I was with this clinic off and on since February 2019. It is most assuredly I can testify that these people are not professional enough to let their spiritual beliefs take a backseat while in the office. They practice their religion at work and target patients like me for spiritual attempts to overcome the good. This war seems never ending. Where is the peace and acceptance of people who are different than you? Not everyone swims in the same waters. Some people don't move and are not able to be accommodating. They are stagnant and don't allow improvements we all enjoy to bear fruit. They want to kill the seed before it grows. We are not experiencing spiritual upheaval at this time at all or I could understand people falling down. This type of behavior is inexcusable, highly inappropriate and even dangerous. It is a display of typical malignant narcissism and psychopathy. This is actually mental illness at work in these practitioners. They need help. We took the flight anyway and upon landing I randomly called a dentist, who himself recommended Dr. Kashiwada. He took us in immediately though he was otherwise booked. His care, compassion, obvious skill, and amazing follow-up, was unique in all my nearly seven decades. He is a clinician. He is an expert, on licensing boards, and it is a delight to be in his caring company. He allows you to enjoy a dental visit! We had never met him but immediately felt as though he had been our dentist for decades. He called us several times to be sure we could enjoy our time in Hawaii without concern for the tooth that he skillfully repaired and was our Guardian Angel.
