I cannot recommend Pacific Face Painting enough. We hired one of their artists who does both face painting & balloon twisting for a private party. The booking process was easy and straightforward, communication was always prompt, and all questions were answered thoroughly. Our artist was absolutely wonderful - showed up promptly, was professional, kind, and friendly. We ended up having much fewer children than expected at our party, so most guests were adults. The artist did a great job making everyone feel welcome to have a face (or hand) painted or to request a balloon creation, regardless of age. It was so much fun for children and adults alike. I recently hired two premium artists from Pacific Face Painting to do a corporate event (Take Our Kids to Work Day). I found this business by submitting a request on Yelp and Pacific Face Painting got back to me the quickest, first by responding to my yelp message and then by locking in the details via email and invoice. Their automated email systems are detailed and contain all the information you'd need, and their website is also great - it lists all the pricing in a very clear way so you know exactly what you're paying for. I decided on two glitter tattoo artists and was sent Claudia and Amy (I think I got those names correct!) and they were professional and great with the children. They arrived on time, with all their supplies, and kept their stations as neat as was possible given that glitter tends to get everywhere. Every time a kid got a glitter tattoo, everyone gasped with astonishment at how beautiful and sparkly it was! The fee for 2 hours was around $700 something, which is reasonable especially considering that I booked them on Monday and my event was on Thursday - talk about last minute!!! Oh, children's birthday parties. What will you do to keep the kids from being bored and crazy? Always good to have an anchor. I decided to hire Pacific Face Painting for my 5 year old's birthday party. I chose the option with balloon twisting as well for the kid who didn't like face paint. Connie came early, set up and worked quickly with every kid who wanted a face paint or a balloon. The art was exceptional. She was patient and encouraging even of my own son who went last and had never had his face painted. That's actually a huge milestone for him to get "messy" and be happy about it. He looked great but I was too frazzled orchestrating to take a picture. Still I had parents complimenting me on the quality of the art and kids were super happy. Two hour minimum, definitely worth it and used to the max. I had wanted to put out a tip jar but since I was a one woman show I didn't even get all of the food out of the fridge I had bought before guests were going home so that's the only thing I'd do differently next time.
