We had a birthday party for my 4 year old girl who is absolutely obsessed with superheroes and we chose to have Wendi come do facepaint as Rebel Rainbow, a female superhero and it was beyond all our expectations. The face paint was amazing (and after 4 years, I consider myself a connoisseur) and the show was so interactive and engaging for the kids and parents. My girl was feeling a little shy that day and Wendi was so great about getting her comfortable and out of her shell during the show. In terms of logistics, the Power Up team was wonderful. We had Windy at my daughter's 5th birthday party this past weekend. She was amazing! We had about 10 children, averaging age 5 who were all stuck at home all weekend so had a lot of pent up energy. We are so happy we chose her to entertain at our party. Windy arrived magically early and brought such great energy with her. As soon as she stepped into our backyard the party was ready to start. Windy is extremely talented. She was able to paint over 10 children with ease. And no details were left out. In a nutshell her work is beyond amazing and you will not be disappointed. The kids loved the great art she put on their faces. The magic comedy show kept everyone including the adults intrigued and laughing throughout. Windy put on a splendid show. When it was all over the children including the adults were very sad that she was leaving. I would recommend Windy to anyone looking for a great performer for their party in a heartbeat. She is punctual, super talented, professional, and your party will be a great one guaranteed. She even stayed later than planned as we had a couple of kids who arrived late to the party. Windy said no problem and got it done. I felt so bad that she was staying longer but she was insistent on painting the kids who had come late. Windy Windy Windy! Oh boy was she a treat. We hired her to do a magic show for a 5-year old boy's birthday party with 14-16 kids and she handled it like a champ. She was dressed like a magician and brought a big box of stuff to entertain the kids. She handled the kids extremely well and managed to really focus on the birthday boy which we really appreciated! Her tricks were kid appropriate, and you could see everyone interacting and having a grand time. She was kind enough to stick around after the magic show and make animal balloons for the kids and everyone loved that. I know she also does face paintings if your party is smaller, but since we had a bounce house and a bunch of sugar-hyped 5 year old boys, we passed on that. BOOK WINDY NOW! Today we celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday. We had a super busy month and took time to decide whether we should keep this year's celebration small or invite all of her friends from preschool. We decided two weeks ago to host a big party.. From the first email to the end of the party the process was so seamless and efficient. All the communication was prompt and clear. We had a quick call with Windy to set up expectations. Windy showed up early to set up and was ready for the show in no time. We planned for the adults to hangout in the kitchen/patio area and have some cocktails while the kids were in the back yard completely mesmerized by the show! The sweetest thing was to hear a group of twenty five year olds cracking up together after one of Windy's acts. Windy's show is built to keep the kids entertained for a pretty long show, what's so smart is that she gives them a movement break after each act to get their energy out.
