I've had a great experience with the team at Ryan Miyashita State Farm. Everyone is knowledgeable,…read morefriendly, and makes every interaction easy and comfortable. I've worked most closely with Brett, who always makes sure I'm aware of all my options. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and never makes me feel rushed. Most recently, he helped lower my monthly car premium by $20 by applying State Farm's multi-car discount. I really appreciate his attention to detail and commitment to finding the best value. Highly recommend Brett and the team!

It disappoints me to write this review after so many years of coverage through Ryan Miyashita, but…read moremy insurance now costs more than half my monthly car payment at almost $250 a month. How is this possible? I was told there were a bunch of surcharges added to the baseline quote of $146, and several months of back fees for cancelling my renter's insurance policy after moving in with my partner (obviously wouldn't need renter's insurance anymore, which you would think would save me money-- nope, they penalized me instead). My partner has a newer car than me and pays around $66 a month for car insurance. Obviously I now have no choice but to find a cheaper insurance provider. Weirdly enough, when I switched cars last month, I suddenly started getting several copies of all mail related to the policy-- 4 sets of cards, insurance mail every week. Also of note, Jessica Lim is handling everything now, while Ryan is nowhere to be found. What a disappointment.
