I proposed to my girlfriend on a boat so I knew capturing the moment without tipping her off would be tough. JD was able to set up from the beach and take excellent photos of us. We met before hand and his professionalism and willingness to work with me was awesome. He took hundreds of pictures and was able to get great photos at sunset, on a dock, in a restaurant, and at night. He was able to send me photos right away and then uploaded them all to a website the next day so we could share and see them almost immediately. John is an awesome photographer and I love the space in the studio. I had to shoot some models and this place has a make up area in the back with salon chairs and mirrored lighting. It also had a steamer (great to use before shooting), a full bathroom and a cool lobby area. Not to many great places in LA/Beach like JD Starling Productions. It also has plenty of street parking unlike a lot of studios in LA that have meters if they available. It's easy access from the street and you can unload everything from the back entrance if you need. I've come here about 3 times already. Definitely recommend. read more
