From the start he was clear and descriptive with everything he noted. We walked through every spot in the house and showed me as he went what he found and what that meant for me as the buyer. So I didn't ... and surely enough, despite my efforts to try and tidy up here and there, the mess built up. At first, I didn't really notice it, but then little by little, the place became unmanageable. It got to a point where I hated going home because I felt like I was walking into pigsty and it depressed me. After trying to ignore the issue, I reached a point where I decided I needed to do something because ignoring the problem was not going to fix it; and if I wanted to change the way I felt about my messy home, I needed to either spend the time cleaning or spend some money hiring a professional to help me. I'd never hired a professional cleaning service before and practically speaking, I initially had three concerns: (1) where do I find one? (2) can I even afford it? and; (3) can I find a trustworthy company where I feel safe entrusting them with my keys to come in and clean my place while I'm not home. As for my first question, I literally didn't know where to start. Eventually, I managed to find my way to Yelp and looked up services that are near me. I'm in Edgewater and based on my location, it recommended 4 places, so I requested a quote from all 4. Express Cleaning Team was the last to respond to my query but I'm really glad they did because it solved my second concern: cost. I originally had an idea of how much I wanted to spend but after receiving quotes from the first 3 services, I was left feeling disappointed because it was WAY beyond what I wanted to budget for a weekly appointment. It turned out that ECT's rates are so reasonable and affordable, my only regret is not having looked into this much sooner. All I had to do was to fill out their booking form on their website. Once I completed their dozen or so questions, I was quoted less than $100 a week to clean my two bedroom/one bathroom apartment. Now that I knew there was a service near my home that fit my budget, the only thing I had left to determine was whether I could trust them enough to give them a copy of my keys to clean the apartment when I'm at work. I wanted to make sure, so once I got an email confirmation from Jimmy, I asked him if it were possible to meet someone from the company on a weekend when I was home. Despite being outside of their business hours, his wife Fary graciously agreed to come by on Saturday to meet me and personally clean my apartment. I mean, how amazing and awesome is that?! It was her day off, but she still nonetheless took the time to come to my home just to meet me, give me the peace of mind, and did a truly AMAZING job. I didn't stay the entire time she was there but when I came home later that night, I was left speechless. I was so stunned and grateful for the care and attention that was clearly spent because everything was perfect. Honestly, it was like every little thing was carefully put in its place and every surface was expertly cleaned. You could easily tell how much care and attention was spent making sure I came home happy. If you're reading this review, you may be interested in hiring a cleaning service but have similar concerns about actually hiring one like I did. If so, I hope this helps in your calculus for reaching a decision. I was very pleased in my decision to hire ECT and I'm certain that going forward, I will actually want to come home instead on being depressed whenever I walk through my door.

Let me just say that I've been coming here for YEARS and have spent thousands since I had another car that I serviced. It's been convenient and most of the mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable. Today, I had a different experience. First off, the guy at the front (I won't say any names) is rude. It takes nothing to say hello back to someone who came in and said hello. Anyway, came in to do a battery replacement. Everything was done and as I was walking to the office, I see my car....left UNATTENDED WITH THE HOOD UP and my car still running for several minutes. He just left it there like that. I walked to the office (hood was still up). Stood there waiting to get my bill and keys (hood still up) Mind you...it's a rainy day. This kid was negligent with my property. I don't know if me being a woman alone made that acceptable but it's not. Big or small job, it's business and you treat everyone's property and them with respect. Then after seeing my car left on with the hood up, I make them aware of it and then I paid and left. As I was driving, my USB/anti theft system was not working. Screen blank. Not only was he negligent with my property....he didn't finish the job. You have to reboot the anti theft system for that and the USB/screen controls to work. I was more than willing to tip the guy since I know they don't make much on batteries but after that experience, no. You don't just put a battery in...you need to reboot the system. Today was EXTREMELY disappointing and needless to say, I will go elsewhere from now on. Maybe give JJ a bit more training.

They told me 'Brakes are fine' when 9/10 places would've suggested replacing them regardless of need. He got to my house on time and worked tirelessly for two days on a project he anticipated to take one. He never complained and concentrated on the job with his insane focus on the details. I felt terrible as this paper was such a headache to work with, but the final product looks amazing. George and his team are straight up artists. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. He came out and took a look at let me know that my particular situation didn't require his services, but he did let me know exactly what needed to be done to solve the problem. I don't know anything about this sort of stuff so he could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance. Patrick (the owner) gave me an appointment for his workers to install a sump pump. The first pictures are of the check valve portion of the project. The second picture is an extension installed by Mazzone to my check valve two feet below my basement floor. The third set of pictures are from the completed job by Arid. The workers from Arid were very polite and worked quickly and very effectively with a great deal of carefulness for my home and living spaces.
