Employee informs me that there's a restocking fee. I looked at the guy and said do you want me to turn around and put it back in the bin he laughed and said the owner of the company is requiring all returns with restocking fees that's bullshit. I understand if you have to ship it back to a company or take it to another warehouse and have employee time to restock it, but it literally is 5 feet from the cash register and they're still going to deduct a percentage. I will no longer be doing business with them and going to another metal company.

HM Ironworks fixed and finished what the other welder I hired messed up and abandoned!…read more I called Jorge at HM Ironworks after I had hired another welder to complete a stair railing. The other welder sent rookie trainees to do most of the work. I had to revise my design several times because of their measurement errors and their other mistakes mounted so high that the welder never came back to finish the job. ENTER IN HM Ironworks - Jorge came and assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. Immediately I could tell Jorge was a man of integrity and that he was very concerned about the poor workmanship of the prior welder and that he wanted to help me by using his skills to fix my problem. Long story short, Jorge fixed all of the mistakes and finished the project for the price and on the time line he promised. I would highly recommend HM Ironworks for any welding project you may have. Start with someone great so you don't have to correct the poor workmanship of others like I did.

Several years ago, my husband and I found a nice patio lounge with a canopy. It became our favorite…read moreoutdoor space! But after several years of sun exposure (we do have all weather covers for it, but UV damage still happens) it was time to get the cushions and canopy re-covered. A friend of mine that restores classic cars was showing off a project that he had re-upholstered, so I asked him for his guy's contact info. I called and spoke to Jose, the owner, who said yes he takes in my type of work. We wanted upgraded foam and slipcovers along with the re-covered cushions and pillows. I brought in a decorative canvas that I had previously purchased. I chose blue for the reupholstering and canopy, and told Jose to choose a good coordinate fabric for the slipcovers-if more yardage was needed. I just got the order back, and it is Bee-Yoo-Tee-Full!! The new extra dense foam is so comfortable (the original was about 3" thick and you could still feel the base of the chaise through it) and the decorative covers are so pretty! They will also protect the cushions from excess UV, and be easily cleaned. The fabric of the canopy is extra dense, and will provide good shade for sitting and reading or using a tablet. I cannot say enough good things about how happy I am with the work provided by Jose, at Pacific Upholstery! Do note that if you go the the shop, parking is tight. You can park in front of the buildings on either side of the access gate but don't park across the street. The tenants there politely let me know it was not appreciated.
