We just moved to Orange County from Los Angeles so our friends and family are at least 45 mins away. When we were planning for our lil girls first birthday party , we must have an entertainment worth their drive besides our lil girl. I called Pacific Island Dancers and the booking was very easy and affordable. During the 30 mins performance, they danced and wear different costumes related to the country and culture of the music. They wear very fun and colorful costumes that our guests enjoyed. They even had "You're Welcome" singalong for the dads. In addition, they have dance lessons for kids and adults. It was fun and easy to perform! (See pictures below). The 30 mins performance that I paid actually lasted more than 45 mins. Totally worth it. My guests thought I paid triple than what I paid for (They thought I was rich! Heheheheh) and they complimented my party as grand because of the performances. One of my best friend book with them a week after for her baby girl's (Manny Pacquiao's goddaughter) second birthday. If you you will book with them, make sure to provide a huge mat or space not hot to dance. Also, a close big bathroom or room for them to change. Pacific Island Dancers did my daughters 10th Birthday in May. Ashley was our performer and she was so amazing. Melinda helped us customize the party to exactly what my daughter wanted. She had different costumes and instruments from the islands and taught the girls several dancers. My daughters friends are still talking about how this was the best party they had been too. One of her friends wanted to have the same party and called me to ask who I would recommend. With our a doubt Pacific Island is the best. I've hired the Pacific Island Dancers for my daughter's 5th birthday party. They came on time and were well-prepared. The 2 hula dancers were beautiful and so were their costumes. They did a 1 hour performance which included lessons and audience participation. My guests enjoyed it and it was great to see my daughters light up when they saw the dancing. Love the Pacific Island Dancers! Melinda was amazing at helping me plan out every little detail of the small performance I had envisioned for my mother's birthday dinner. I was very particular about what I wanted and how I wanted it to be a surprise for my mom, and she assured me that they would be able make it happen. She even contacted me the next day after the party to make sure I was happy and that everything had gone smoothly. Unfortunately, of course, even though it was boiling and sunny the day before, the one Saturday in the entire SUMMER that the party was on, it RAINS, in Southern California, and we were forced to move the luau indoors. Just hours before the party, I had to re-plan and reorganize the luau to be indoors and had no idea how I would be able to accommodate the dancers and what we had planned in such a tight space. I contacted one of my dancers, Jade, and explained the situation to her. She was so sweet about it and was very insistent that despite our circumstances, she still wanted us to have a full experience and suggested many other options that they could do. I was already really stressed and busy with everything, so I asked her to just take over and make all the decisions. I have to be honest, I was a bit skeptic as to how great the performance was going to be considering the limited space we had to work with and the time they had to prepare, but oh my gosh, I was so impressed with what they were able to put together so last minute. Jade and Maleah showed up on time and prepared, and put on a beautiful little performance with a variety of hawaiian implements, that everyone loved, and were so nice to even take a little time to greet and socialize with my mom and our guests afterwards. They definitely lifted everyone's energy and spirit that might have been a little down due the rain, but most importantly, made my mom so happy. I had dancer Maui for a Birthday Luau. My daughter turning 3 & nephew 5. It was amazing! So professional! Maui was very confident and spoke loud when speaking/interacting with audience. Beautiful dresses fort the performance. Several outfit changes. The little ones were so excited when they heard the "lilo and stitch" intro song!
