Just can get it right. Wrong items ordered and local coordination was off. Seems like they were lost during the process.

*** Another project update for my shower head on Wed., 6-3-26)***…read moreMy Moen shower head with side sprayer popped off the ball socket type of attachment onto the shower floor. Luckily, it didn't break. Unfortunately, I have an older type shower arm with a ball socket on the end. I had tried to turn the shower head, not realizing that it could only pivot up and down, so I caused it to pop off. After numerous tries on my own and tutorials on YouTube to figure it out, I finally decided to bring the whole shower head with parts to Home Depot to ask my "go-to" guy, Steve, in Plumbing for assistance. Steve wasn't there, but no worries; Vinny was there to the rescue. He escorted me to the area wall of parts to show me the adapters; however, after further conversation and inspection of my shower head, he told me it was relatively simple to re-install it. I went home to immediately do just that and in less than 10 minutes and without any tools, it was back in position securely. I tested out the water right away and, no leaks or spurts were anywhere. Thank you Vinny (if you get wind of this review) and The Home Depot for having considerate, knowledgeable and helpful employees to assist those of us in need for "Do-it-yourself" type of projects. I am one who is very grateful and will continue to be so.

There was someone there that seemed good! - but she had people and waiting seemed endless. The first time idk what happened. But both x I left sorta frustrated. I figured I would make an appointment with someone in kitchen hopefully get the woman who seemed good. On two different occasions I called, and literally got no one at all, except for answering machines. What a joke - then when you try to get to the operator, you get disconnected. When I call back the second time, they must've recognized my number and automatically put me through to kitchen and again got no one except some sales guys answering service. Gross. Well f u HD. I'll get all new appliances at the Place across the street... you know - it starts w an L. So because of your incompetence, you lost a $6,000.00 or more sale. And guess what - I don't think people reading this, will be so keen to run to you. Get your shit together.

I'm a licensed architect and have been specifying and ordering appliances for over 30 years. My…read moreexperience with House of Appliances has been the worst I've had in my entire career. I did everything possible to avoid issues -- I confirmed timelines with my salesperson, Drew, to avoid a price increase and followed up with a call. Despite that, my quote increased. After some back and forth, they did honor the original price -- but the problems didn't stop there. Drew failed to place the order, even though I had submitted it and paid in full. That delay caused major availability issues, forcing me to purchase a more expensive microwave just to stay on schedule. When I needed to change one appliance, it took weeks just to get an updated proposal. I shared my install deadline well in advance, because I had out-of-town carpenters coming specifically to install the appliance panels. House of Appliances never got back to me in time, and I missed the window. Now I have to pay extra to get the panels installed later. To make matters worse, the refrigerator drawers and wine refrigerator arrived damaged. I was told they could be repaired -- but I paid full price, and I will not accept repaired appliances. These units are required for my Certificate of Occupancy and panel installation, and I still have no resolution. I even contacted a manager and have yet to receive any help. This kind of service is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, when we explained the purpose of our visit, the salesperson, Drew Meltz, informed us that we could not purchase appliances in Florida and have them shipped to Vermont. Right. We asked if we could still browse their showroom. Drew immediately welcomed us and then proceeded to spend nearly an hour going over all the appliances we were looking for: ovens, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. All the while knowing there would be no eventual sale. Drew Meltz is the best appliance salesperson we have ever met, hands down. He is supremely knowledgeable about his products, patient, cordial and a real pleasure to work with. And their store, is superior to any of the many other stores we have been visiting. Five enthusiastic stars for Drew and the House of Appliances. Steve and Evelene Lakis
