Everything shiny, pretty and new. Not a spare part end cap or aisle to be seen anywhere. So, I ask. "Oh no," she says, "we don't have any parts here." "But, your web site says you do." "Well, we DID at one time, but it's been moved to another location." ..... "and they're closed today"..... So, not only do you not have the parts here, like your site said you did, but your parts store is not open on a SATURDAY??? It's a good thing I can ALWAYS rely on Home Depot to the rescue! I went in and asked for a base plate for my new faucet; i'm changing from a 3-hole configuration to a single hole, and the base plate is necessary to cover the other two holes. The guy acted like I was speaking another language when I asked for it, then proceeded to continue to make me feel like an idiot, making faces every time I spoke, and behaving as though I didn't know what I was talking about. Irritated, but knowing well that this was the only game in town, I gritted my teeth and made my way to purchase the hole covers he said "are the only thing used for covering extra holes", in the wrong finish, and quite cheap looking. because nothing is priced in the store, I asked how much they were and he smirked, "$20 a piece". It was the smirk that put me over the edge. He rang me up at .85 cents per, and I paid and left as soon as I could. This guy is a first class jerk, doesn't know the first thing about customer service, and should be told that you don't have to be male to be able to replace a faucet. Girls, beware.

They have a limited selection of countertops but ample tile and backsplash options. I was with my mom to assist her with picking out tile and carpet for her home. Alexis assisted us and was very kind and knowledgeable. She listened to my moms needs and concerns which had to be factored in with the selection process as she is disabled and in a wheelchair. My mom selected her carpet and tile and scheduled an appt for an employee to come out and measure. Alexis allowed us to take the samples she selected home so we could get a better feel of how it would look and pick up in the lighting in her house. The technician will pick the samples up when he comes. I'm so pleased! While the showroom isn't large they had a good selection and customer service was excellent!

The installers worked very hard to get the job done but towards the end they hurried and did not do a great job on the last room and left all of our walls filthy to the point we almost needed to repaint, but I didn't complain. I was disappointed that Alex did not arrange for matching threshold materials and so I called after the installation to see if we could arrange that. I called 4 or 5 times and sent an email, but they never responded. So we gave up and are stuck with the cheap metal threshold that was used. Here we are a year later and we are having problems with the installation in our kitchen. Planks are separating and planing in a high traffic area because the subfloor was not properly prepared. It needs to be fixed soon. Because of our previous experience with them not returning calls, we dropped in and Alexis told us she would have Alex give us a call the next day. He didn't call. We called back 3 more times on subsequent days and each time were told that Alex would call us. He never did. So, the bottom line is that these people are happy to take your money, but you better hope everything gets done right the first time because they do NOT stand behind their work and will simply NEVER call you back if you have problems. Extremely disappointing experience with American Appliance Company Corpus Christi -…read more I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company. My refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working fine. American Appliance Company replaced a part that did not fix the problem and charged me nearly $1,000 for the part and service, and now the freezer is not freezing either. Unfortunately, the poor experience didn't end there. After the unnecessary repair, I was scheduled for follow-up appointments--at first, I was not told that the follow-up was going to be a third-party company. The company stood me up twice. You can imagine my disappointment and frustration when no one showed up as promised, leaving me repeatedly rearranging my schedule and dealing with an appliance issue that should have been resolved in the first place. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. I asked to speak with the owner. I was first told that he was on another line- I offered to hold- after holding for aprox 10 min, I was told the owner left, refusing to speak with me. When you have charged a customer nearly $1,000 for work that did not need to be done and then fail to show up for three appointments, I believe the least you can do is take responsibility and speak directly with the customer, especially since I had to rearrange my schedule to be available at that time. The combination of an unnecessary repair, an outrageous bill, three missed appointments, and an owner unwilling to address the situation has left me extremely dissatisfied. Nearly $1,000 later, three appointments missed, and still no accountability. That is not the level of service I expect from a professional appliance company that professes to be Christian.
