Despite being very clear that I would not need my plumbing fixtures until mid-December, I've been hounded to take delivery weeks in advance. I even added more product to my order in attempts to get more time. There's zero flexibility or understanding, even though this was discussed with the sales rep Wil up front. To make matters worse, their communication on appliance purchases has been painfully slow -- a few weeks, to get even basic appointment schedule. I ended up going elsewhere and I am so glad I did. For a company positioned as a premium home supplier, their responsiveness and customer service have been anything but. The showroom is nice and their products are solid, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. But the lack of professionalism, pushy delivery policies, and poor follow-through have made me regret choosing them for this project. I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

They refused to accept the return or provide a return address because they didn't like my picture with my heavy packing materials. Very poor customer service. Note: 10/5/23 the carefully packed boxed chandelier fan is still sitting in my dining room in Virginia. When my bank card company investigated the dispute, Sofary told them that they had the chandelier in their possession and I had not returned it in its original condition.

When the first fixture arrived last week and did not match the pictures online, I reached out to the company, both through their online form and through phone calls to their customer service, to initiate a return and to cancel my remaining two fixtures that were on pre-order. Their automated response email said someone would reach out to me within 48 hours of submitting the online form. It has now been a full business week, and despite my phoning the company's customer service twice, both after 48 hours and after one week, I learned my cancellation request still "had not been assigned to anyone," meaning it had been completely ignored. (I also haven't received the promised label for my return.) I was told today, on my third attempt to get a resolution, the cancellation request would now be assigned, but I'd have to wait four more days--the weekend plus two more business days--to know if I could cancel my pre-order. This equates to 10 business days and three follow-ups with the company simply to cancel an order that hasn't shipped, and still no actual resolution. I told the rep I wanted to speak to her supervisor to understand why this had happened and for assurances that my cancellation would indeed be processed before the remaining items were shipped and I was thus charged a 15% restock fee. She said that all she could do was put in a request for a supervisor to contact me, and that such a request takes 48 hours for a response. When I explained that my customer service experience was negatively impacting whether I'd order anything further from their company, and that there seemed to be a notable lack of accountability or resolution, she hung up on me. What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication.
