Had a lot of fun learning how to ride (again!) on this side of the planet. I had Q, Dillon, Crusoe as my instructors, they were very helpful and flexible in correcting my mistakes, fixing bad riding habits that I imported with myself from my home country. Prioritizing safe riding, cornering, breaking, lane changing techniques. I highly recommend anyone starting their motorcycle journey in the Bay Area to go through this course. The location weather-wise is a bit harsh, so layer up for cold days. Grateful to have completed the course with y'all.

Bikes have some mileage on them, but if u can pass on these your future ride will come easy

Great experience, i highly recommend. It's not easy, but everything you learn applies to what you will need on the streets. The instructors are fair and tough. All were different but essential for your success. The best instructor for me was Dillon... spoke clear, great attitude, and knew his stuff.

Otis!

I just finished this course last weekend and honestly enjoyed every minute of it outside my nervousness and the poopy weather. This was the first time doing something since I had my baby a year ago. Never rode a motorcycle but super interested for a long time. I recommend this course if you have no experience. My instructors were Q (first day), Steve (second day), and Tony (both days). I really enjoyed all the instructors I had, but especially Tony. He really boosted my confidence up even after giving me criticism. That alone was so reassuring and improved my riding skill. I really loved Tony as my instructor! The reason for a knocked off star is the bike(s) I had. I had Otis and Walter which are both Honda Rebels. They were finicky and really abused (understandably so). It was hard to know if it was me (probably) or the bike when it came to shifting, stalling, or using the throttle. It was a struggle honestly, especially where the rear brake was located. As a brand new rider, it made it difficult to improve with a bike not preforming the best. It got to a point where I felt really discouraged. But thankful Tony really helped me get better. All and all, I really recommend this place. My entire class passed and really came through for each other! I highly enjoyed my time and sad it's over. Thank you PMT!

This place has great and friendly coaches, and don't worry if you make mistakes during the course because they will help you get through it the best as they can and with so many helpful feedback. I learned from Q, Chris and Dylan, and they are all amazing teachers! I love the beginner course and will be back for the more advance course for sure, thank you!

I've taken their training program several years ago and it was just awesome. Within a few hours, they were able to make confident riders of people who got on a bike for the first time. Thanks, Pacific Motorcycle Training and their absolutely incredible instructors for making my motorcycle journeys across the country possible!

Learn on the Honda Grom! Most fun bike they have.

I placed my concerns to the higher ups and they didn't do anything about it. I pointed out people cheating, using their phones during exams. To lose my career as a LVN, paid so much, because this school cares about money. Not fairness, not bullying, not even my mental health. I cried so many times. One of my other classmates (practically a doctor in the Philippines) got bullied out of the program. I reached out how furious I was because she's so sweet, but all they said is "we will take care of it". They didn't. We had a teacher Ms Mikayla who was degrading and none of the students liked her. The reason I didn't is because I personally want to use my clinical hours to actually be at the facility, not studying for exams. All the instructors who do clinicals cut off our times to go back to school to study. The nurses at our first clinical questioned why we leave so early. All of this I pointed out to higher ups. Watching all my bullies (Jessica, Gianna, Vitoria, Ernesto) on instagram have the opportunities I lost. Made me break down and cry. Some people shouldn't be nurses. Don't bother attending here.

I commuted from across the bay bridge every morning to get here, and honestly, I would do it again! I'm a recent graduate of their certified nursing assistant program pending my licensing exam, and in regards to the program preparing me, I feel very confident to take the test! (With exception to one skill, but I've found that is my weakness and I need to keep practicing). The AM CNA program is about 5-6 weeks, the first two being theory and done at home whilst the rest are "clinicals". Unfortunately due to COVID, students are not able to go into facilities to practice their skills, but instead, we practiced with dummies and used our partners as residents. This is probably my *only* complaint, but obviously, it's not their fault, COVID has kind of thrown everybody for a loop. Towards the end of the program, they bring in recruiters for you to talk to as well as holds a resume workshop! While they cannot promise you a job, they certainly do bring you opportunities and assists you in your process. Super thankful for how kind and patient instructor Dora and Mila (?) are! Will miss everybody I have met here :) UPDATE : I PASSED! Woohoo, thank you for being a teaching center and a testing center!

As much as I hate blood, I stick children and teens every day. Lol... I chose the weekend class which is 5 Saturdays from 8am to 4:30 pm. Just remember you aren't too old to go back to school to make that dream of yours come true. My first day was absolute amazing. Our teacher was amazing. Her name is Lindsey Kline and she is full of positive real spirit, humor, honesty and direct. Lindsey works at a prison and her skin is thick. She is there for you every step of the way. Lindsey provides the guidance and support during Q&A and your blood draws. She's very responsive. I've completed my class yesterday and I know I will miss attending class. We had an awesome group of people that were always joking around, laughing and helping each other make our goals. Lindsey makes you feel comfortable and I loved her style of teaching. There aren't no shortcuts. It may seem like a short time of learning to get certified but she had given us all the knowledge we need and carry us through to prep for our NHA exam.

In 5 days I got 65 successful sticks in via straight needles, butterfly needles and capillary punctures! Great program for anyone!

Hey Everyone!!!! OMG…read more- so today I had to re-exam to renew my CNA license. Which was a bummer, because I did not know how to obtain the correct CEU's. I was so nervous, because I haven't took this state exam in 2 years, and I did not know if it was going to be with others, a large size class or anything... just going in blind. I remember when I had took my exam 2 years ago for the first time, I was with my classmates. However, I got here very early. I was the first to arrive. Later, I was greeted and welcomed by a beautiful nice woman name Mrs. Drusilla. She opened up at Vasco Career College, and she then opened the for for me and told me to come inside to have a seat. I was so nervous you guys, and she was very nice it sort of soothed my demeanor. I then checked in with her to begin my written exam first, I explained to her how nervous I was and this was for my renewal. She literally turned to me and looked in my eyes, and stated, " you will be fine ". I honestly felt like this was a sign from god. I then took my exam, in a very quiet room, she went over everything for me in full detail. The rooms were spacious, clean and organized. After, it was time to take my skills exam. Again, y'all, very nervous and I sat in another room, (room C ), while another student finished their skills exams. Once, this student was close to finished, I was asked to be the patient for them. I was introduced to my Proctor, she was so sweet and pleasant. Her name was Mrs. Bella, she reminded me of a sweet family member you just hug when you see them. After, I helped the other student, it was my turn, my pulse was going a 1000x per sec. She told me to calm down, again, nice and pleasant. I finished and felt so good about my outcome with taking both my exams here just due to their personalities and how nice they were. This helped me in ways they will never know I needed, just them being kind. I have not received my results yet, or do not know if I passed, but I wanted to share with everyone a great place to come take you exams and also.... * As I was leaving, Mrs. Drusilla heard me state I was renewing my CNA license and she informed me on next time, what to do in order to receive my continuing education credits, to qualify for approval from California Department of Health. THEY HAVE A WEBSITE, www.cnabase.com ONLINE, and they offer the in person CEU's in person at their school. You guys I could have cried right there. Renewing my license was the hardest thing ever for me, and I felt like it should have not been. I asked everyone and no one could give me the correct information on where to go or how to obtain your continuing education credits. So, I want to share with everyone so they do not go through what I went through, the panic, stress, and anxiety on having to take the state exam over.... you can take these CEU's with them!!! DON'T WALK, RUN TO THEIR CAMPUS.. THEY OFFER SEVERAL OTHER CLASSES AS WELL, CHECK THEM OUT!!!!

After graduating from the program, I was assigned to a clinic for my externship and my instructor also have been keeping in touch with me while I was in my externship. I couldn't have done all of this if it wasn't for my instructor and Mrs. Dru who also went above and beyond, most especially she was so happy for me that I was able to complete my externship. I highly recommend enrolling in Vasco Career College for anyone who is starting out in the medical field.

I cannot stress how chill and nice he was. The course was taking a toll on my physical and mental health, but Scottie's cheerful optimism kept me going. He truly embodies positive energy and makes lectures so much more bearable. His storytelling and advice were very eye-opening as well. I regret not approaching him for help more often. However, unsurprisingly, it's very rigorous. For anyone looking at an 8-week course, you will spend 20 hours a week: 10 hours on lectures (MW or TTh; 5 hours each) and 10 on skills (Sunday); of course, with breaks in between. Lectures will cover 6 chapters per week, and you will take lecture exams every weekend on the day of your skills instruction. You should be able to dedicate a huge amount of time to reading through the course material (at least 20 hours imo). So please reconsider your decision if you're planning to work or study full-time during the course. Otherwise, give it a shot! Be cool and professional, and most important of all, make sure you have a great time. I promise you, it'll be worth it.

I just completed the 7.5-week expedited course, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. First and foremost, know this: it's a fast-paced, demanding course, and success requires putting in the work. But if you're serious about learning, BATA provides everything you need to excel--exceptional instructors, hands-on training, and a structured approach that sets you up for real-world success. Scottie, the lead instructor, is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's knowledgeable, engaging, and has a great balance of keeping the class fun while knowing when to get serious. He truly cares about his students and their success. BATA also brings in a fantastic team of instructors--shoutout to Kyle, Justin, Nadeline, Eric, and Tony--each of whom adds their own expertise and teaching style. With so many instructors, the course feels personal rather than overwhelming, ensuring plenty of one-on-one guidance and hands-on practice. From day one, you can tell that BATA is well-organized and genuinely committed to training top-tier EMTs. They focus on real-world scenarios and practical skills, not just textbook knowledge, which makes a huge difference when preparing for the field. For anyone considering their EMT certification--whether your goal is becoming a first responder or using it as a stepping stone for another route like medical school--you will be in great hands at BATA.
