When we arrived in the evening for our workshop, Susan quickly welcomed us in. Her immediate friendliness put us both at ease, and she was very receptive and positive as we discussed both of our needs and what we were looking to get out of the workshop. The workshop was over two hours, so we never felt rushed. Both my partner and I asked lots of questions, and Susan's answers were always informative and insightful. In general, Susan would first show us how to massage a body part, and then, she gave us an opportunity to practice the technique with her guidance, which I found to be very effective for our learning. Due to the length of the workshop, I also greatly appreciated that Susan provided water and snacks. I also want to note that I found the facilities to be very clean, and Susan was accommodating about changing the temperature of the room to improve our comfort. After the workshop, both my partner and I felt more connected. The workshop gave us space away from our busy lives to slowdown and show our appreciation for each other, giving us a chance to convey our love in a way that can often be lost in everyday life. Overall, I would say that this workshop at White Silk Wellness was a highlight of my trip, and we would love to come back to take the workshop again or try out some of Susan's other services. In just that short phone call, I felt more relaxed and confident about my decision to work with her. The views from the Sea to Sky are breathtaking, but the space and steam shower of the Sunset are equally enjoyable. Marsha was so kind and hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay the best as can be. The breakfasts she provided were all SO good! Had the best massage ever in the beachside cabana, the sound of the ocean just feet away, so relaxing.
