If you rent a vintage van, you don't expect perfect. But you do expect a vehicle that will run and a vehicle that is safe. Do not expect either from this company. And if you rent their vehicles through outdoorsy, don't expect any help from them when things go wrong. It was that I tried to drive at night, but the lights were so dim I couldn't see. When I shut down the vehicle, it wouldn't restart without being boosted.

The van was absolutely great, simple, didnt stand out screaming 'TOURISTS' the bed is comfy and BIG, and the kitchen gear with the little 2 burner stove and BBQ, the fridge, the plates and silverware etc give us EVERYTHING we needed! it was easy to get around without spending a heaps on eating out, or having to resort to boring meals. The Camper had everything we needed for this trip. Also there was plenty of space for backpacks. The van was easy to drive, but remember these vans are from a different time... and they drive different that modern day cars, but no problem and we got used to it fast. Every question we had he answered within 12 hours when we needed to msg them, ( we mostly relied on wifi spots for data) and the pick up of the car return was very easy. During our trip he also contacted us if everything was well.

One of my staff bought a trailer from Hub City RV. They said throughout the whole sales process…read morethat it was a minor fixer upper with a small area of the floor needing repair from water damage. When we opened up the floor, it was a sopping wet mess and the rot extended throughout the entire trailer from front bedroom to rear bathroom. The area under the kitchen cabinets was basically wet dust. Multiple ant colonies were living in the ceiling and it was basically a hidden write off. We contacted the sales person about an adjustment to the sale price (since it wasn't worth the negotiated price with all this water damage) and they promised to return our call and help make it right. The request was not unreasonable as it would help with materials to repair the surprise damages. After waiting a week or two, and doing more gutting and repairing we are told that it was basically the buyer's fault for falling for their scheme. ****DO NOT BUY A TRAILER OR RV FROM HUB CITY RV**** unless you think they have gotten rid of the liars and cheats that work there. We have photos and videos of the ants, the extensive mould, rot, and water damage and there was no disclosure of any of this other than the single minor floor repair near the kitchen.

I was very happy with the level of service we received from Jessica and her husband. We had an issue with my credit card that could have been a major problem with a big corporate run rental agency, but they were able to work with me to resolve the issue. We were also given a crash course on the local public transportation helping us navigate to our hotel in Victoria when we dropped off our van. Overall we were very satisfied and highly recommend them.

If your looking for a place to party this is NOT the place for you, quiet time is 10:00 pm and it is very quiet mostly all day and night. They are very strict on who comes or goes and all visitors must leave by 10:00. Overall good stay and reasonably priced.

A typical, family friendly campground with some very lovely cabins…read more Boyfriend had been camping here for about a week when I showed up. We had a cabin booked for the following night, but car camped for one evening. When we arrived he gave me a little tour - the washrooms are very nice for campsite bathrooms, and there are even laundry machines, a book borrowing shelf, and indoor showers. The campsite is very well equipped! Quiet hours are at 10, which put a bit of a damper on things as this was a birthday celebration weekend. It was nice to have a firepit at each campsite, although the stream running through the campsite harboured swarms of mosquitoes which didn't encourage me to stay outside... The cabins were lovely. Ours had two separate wings with a shower room in between (not adjoining), a hot tub, and a barbecue. Our friends had the next cabin over, which I believe was just finishing being built, and they had a gorgeous fireplace with recliners in front of it, as well as an indoor and outdoor area to do dishes. The nicest part was that it was a 3 minute walk to 'town' so it was easy to pop over to the corner store and pick up some bits and pieces for dinner. The location alone would probably bring me back but the quiet hours etc. were a bit of a deterrent.
