Our engagement was very short...we did lots of research to find a venue that would meet our needs...Pacific View Tower was perfect for us. We planned the wedding within 3 months! We had about 100 guests for our ceremony and reception. Both were held indoors on the 22nd floor. The views are AMAZING! Online photos do not do this place justice. The vibe is very elegant and classy. This venue offers an experience that our guests are still bragging about. I really appreciate the list of recommended vendors. (Manybells florals/decorations was my absolute favorite!) Also, Brittnay listened attentively to my requests. I have lots of CLOSE loved ones who have passed away...and one of the most important tasks that I wanted prioritized was to create a space at the reception to honor them. I gave Brittany photos & decorative items to arrange as a memory section for those who have passed. The way she arranged the cabinet warmed my heart. It was so special to me! Another great highlight was the food. EVERYTHING was delicious! There was plenty of food and everyone loved our menu selections. I wish the night didn't have to end. The planning team repeatedly got our wedding date wrong. Back in March, they somehow input that our wedding was on Tuesday, the 25th (the contract guaranteed Thursday the 27th). We alerted them to the issue, and they repeatedly reassured us they would fix this, however it took weeks and several phone calls/voicemails for them to verify that they had the correct date. (the 27th) Our day-of coordinator Paola was kind and seemed like a newer employee who was doing her best. She seemed like she needed someone to give her a bit of guidance but was on her own. There were a few mistakes made on the day, the largest of which was that I did not know that I needed a car to drive me to the wedding reception. I was not told until it was time to go to the ceremony, which ended up making us late for the ceremony. We previously thought our wedding would be run by Brittany, but we got the distinct feeling that she left us with the newer coordinator because did not like us. Two days before the wedding, the florist alerted me that she had been asked to send flowers on Friday rather than Thursday (the correct date). I fixed the date with her and the woman from the bakery, but I did not have the contact info for the other vendors to do it myself. I sent an email labeled "URGENT- PLEASE REPLY" and urged my coordinator to double check the wedding date with other vendors, but my email was completely ignored. At my rehearsal, Paola said that she had received it but could not verify that the other vendors had the correct date. When I asked to speak to Brittany or the person in charge, I was told I could not do so because they weren't working that day. Myself and my fiancé woke up on our wedding date not knowing if vendors would be missing. I still have not received a reply to that email, an apology, or any acknowledgement whatsoever of these mistakes. I would very much like to speak to someone from the corporate office to ensure that these issues are addressed, and other couples do not have the same experience we did. We were so stressed out by the planning team's lack of effort/care--frankly, I think it would've been easier to plan the whole wedding ourselves. Additionally, we were repeatedly told that these communications were due to the fact that the venue is closing at the end of the year/the staff is reduced. However, when we booked the venue, we were not informed that our experience would suffer because of this. Also, this excuse has been given to us since March. If Wedgewood is not interested in staffing this venue at the level that is needed to provide good service, perhaps they should just close it now. I understand that Brittany may not have the staff support she needs at this venue, but upper management should be helping her more so that this does not happen again. The level of service we received was terrible. It felt like the venue did not care about us, perhaps because we had a smaller, less expensive wedding (50 people), or perhaps because they already had our payment and knew our feelings didn't matter. It may be useful for Wedgewood to remind staff that even though weddings may be routine for them, for their guests they are extremely important. Given the amount of money that is paid at this venue, there needs to be more care and thought put into the work of the sales and planning team. Overall, our banquet captain was lovely and welcoming, and the dinner itself was quite successful. However, our cake came out nearly an hour after we cut into it. Because it was served so late, many guests had already left and did not get to enjoy it (including an elderly relative who was very excited about the cake). This meant that while all of our cake was cut/not saved, a good portion of it was given out to empty seats. This was somewhat sad, as the cake was very beautiful. But overall, the captain had a great attitude and was very nice to work with. The venue is beautiful, but the garden site has some visible cracks in the floor and plentiful bird droppings on the cement (this may be unavoidable though). Upstairs furniture is chipped, carpets are old/shabby.On the bright side, our DJ Tati was incredible and helped the night run smoothly. The food was a hit with our guests. The venue-recommended florist, Manybell's Creations, was thoughtful and talented. Similarly, the cake provided by "A Little Taste of Heaven" was outstanding. However, Wedgewood itself needs to train their staff to apologize/acknowledge when large mistakes have been made. Please try to better appreciate that for most people, this will be one of the most important days of their lives. Guests shouldn't be worried that the services they paid for won't arrive at all on the day of their wedding. As we were leaving after our event, I overheard a member of the cleaning staff mentioning that something had been left behind. I nicely asked her if we had left something, and she snapped very harshly at me, despite the fact that I was still wearing my wedding dress. read more

Very disgusted with this wedding location and their staff. My brother got married here in the last couple of months and it was awful. Ceremony site- was not swept or cleaned, the isle runner was never put down. (When we complain about this they said it was dirty, but we were the first wedding of the week on a Thursday and we paid for it) Water was not put in the fountains. We had a bubble maker that was supposed to go under the chair up front for bubbles as the bride and groom left and Brittany never did that. We even have photos of her waving the bubble maker behind the bride and groom during their exit. I personally handed her the bubble maker and she said she would make sure it got out there. She left it on a pillar the bridal party passes when they walk down the isle so that's in all of the photos as well. Then all of our guests go to the cocktail hour where they choose not to turn the ac on with 100+ people. My family works in Maintance and had to go and turn them all on. When speaking to the bar tender he said that it was an overcast day so they thought they didn't need to turn it on. Then he said that it normally needs to be on 2-4 hours in advance because they are so high up. So all of our guests were sweaty and uncomfortable. This is the same room that the reception happens in so that was uncomfortable as well. It didn't start feeling better until 9pm. 3 hours after the ceremony. The bride and groom paid for cocktails to be delivered for the bridal party in the bridal suite until the grand entrance, they didn't even provide enough food for us all to have 1 piece. We had to ask for more to be told by Brittney the bridal party doesn't matter only the bride and groom. Which is super true but they paid for this and asked us to get more for them. The buffet was a joke. They weren't replenishing the food or plates. The food was dry. The dj was calling the tables up but their were no plates, salad dressing. No one came and bussed tables until we asked because cake was being served and out old dinner plates were still at the tables. Also we were supposed to get all the photos from the photo booth texted and emailed to us and this never happened. Then the next day we were told we can go in the morning and grab any of the things left. They were all thrown out. Extra party favors. THE TOP OF THEIR CAKE FOR THEIR FIRST ANNIVERSARY. Tossed. Decorations tossed. It was really heart breaking and I feel terrible for my brother and his wife. DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. You only have 1 chance at this, it's expensive and you want to have good things to say a positive memory. Unfortunately this was not the case for my family. Especially the bride and groom. read more

Wedgewood was sooo helpful during the entire process. When we initially viewed the venue, Brittany definitely drew us in with her outgoing personality! She answered every question we had and was extremely patient with me and my family. After we booked, we mainly worked with Sara, who had to be just the absolutely best coordinator out there. She was so supportive of all of our ideas, and during days we had creative blocks, she was there to help push us along! The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Of course there were hiccups- some of the party was running late and the ceremony started late, but I never even realized the time because Sara was taking care of it all for us so I didn't have to stress! I could probably write an entire essay about Sara alone, so I'll try to hit some other main points- The Food-10/10 Now, who actually likes wedding food? Well, my guests did apparently!! All of the guests told us how good the food was, I was genuinely shocked everyone got to try it!! The Venue- 10/10 Both the ceremony and the reception were just absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was out in the garden, and jut was so beautiful outside. The reception- how could you go wrong with that view? Not only was the view beautiful, but the 22nd floor is actually so spacious. I was so nervous that crowding would be an issue, but it was perfect with a guest count of under 100!! The Staff - 1000/10 Lucy, our banquet captain, made sure every thing ran so smoothly. Every time I saw Lucy they were definitely putting in work one way or another!!! Everyone also loved the bartenders. They were soooo kind and so hilarious, my family and friends didn't want to leave the bar!! Frank even took a moment after the reception to tell me how lovely our families were, and it truly warmed my heart. My family even made friends with the security guard, that's how nice the staff was!!! I also want to give a special shout-out to one of the servers, McKayla I believe was her name. At the end of the night she helped me gather some of the decorations, and only had such kind things to say and was sooooo sweet to me!! Due to the pandemic, my husband and I opted into a small micro wedding. I have mixed feelings about my experience though. First and foremost, before I booked the venue the coordinators (whoever text you) we're VERY responsive. They actually were the ones reaching out to me almost daily- up until we've made our deposit. Thennnn... I would get a response maybe a few days later. I understood that they had quite a few weddings to coordinate, Book, & etc.. I was even understanding dealing with the stresses of the "Pandora's box" (pandemic). So a day or so I let go by, but often times it would be a response (whether text or email) after I've reached back out the second time DAYS later. Buuuttt, to no surprise as soon as a payment was due we'd hear from them the day before , and all day (the day of) up until the payment was paid. As far as my wedding it self? IT WAS BEAUTIFULLLL I just wish that before paying my deposit, we were informed that EVERYTHING would've been an upgrade . Even stuff in the elite package had to be upgraded. However, they did make up for it with the Food & drinks b/c they were amazing, DJ was great, staff were attentive. And overall I wouldn't change my experience.. the event itself turned out AMAZING!!!!! My only downside was that I allowed others to make the day about themselves.. but my coordinator made it her business to ensure my husband and I were the happy.. so would I recommend booking with them? Wedgewood was one of the few venues that was within our budget and the view was what had sold us to choose this spot. We all know how stressful wedding planning can be, but they helped so much to try and make the process a little easier by coordinating with all the vendors since it was an all inclusive kind of thing. So, majority of our vendors were chosen thru wedgewood. Food, cake, appetizers were all good :) Dj played exactly what we had asked for. Service was really good. Wedding planner disappeared during wedding. Handed off to someone who we never met before. So unprofessional. Food came cold. Tables were not even set up. Flower vendor they provided to us was horrible; Guests came to the reception with flowers missing and physically witnessing the vendor place the flowers as they were sitting. All promises that did not get full-filled. Lack of detail. When the time was up, was extremely rude to me, the groom, that everyone must exit immediately, to the point that security was threatening calling the police. My party, including myself, were completely SOBER! The last Wedding Planner did not even know us; gave us a feeling that she wanted just to go home! Then I suggest booking with the Tower Club. I just got married 3-30-18 here and I could not have been more pleased. People kept on asking during our engagement if the wedding planning had been stressful yet? My answer every single time was "NO!" The Tower Club made everything so simple for us, all we had to do was pick our options for things and we were set. Once I get more photos from people I will upload them. In my package I included buffet, open bar, DJ, photographer, photo booth, coordinator, and florist. (I will review these people individually on their personal yelp or here.) The day before and of we had Angie who was amazing!! She set out all of our personal decorations we brought in for the reception which was awesome! (Meant stress-free day for me!) She had the ceremony go so smoothly everyone listened from rehearsal (even the kids). The reception was amazing!! Once the introductions were done and we were seated at our table she handed us off to her Chief Server (I think?) his name was Alex. This guy was the MAN!! Never once did we have an empty drink and was always close in case we needed something. Security was included for the venue, but they did such a good job that they did not stick out like most places do. Everyone continues to rave about how good the food was and everything else. What an absolutely stunning location! My fiancé and I came here a few weeks ago to check out as our first venue option. It really set the bar high (no pun intended)! We met with Ginny at 11am on a Saturday morning, and we could not believe the energy she had! She was so positive and excited, while we were barely still waking up. The ceremony site was not ideal for us. It's outside across from the parking lot, so you would see the parking lot from the altar and there didn't seem to be a way around it. You have the option to host the ceremony on the beach at Surfer's Knoll (toes in sand), which was a very lovely option, but you would also be facing the parking lot. Ginny wasn't able to accompany us on that visit, but we were able to find the site very easily. There is also an indoor ceremony option, but it's much smaller, and would be the same room as the bridal suite. After the ceremony, you would go to the top floor of the Topa building for the cocktail hour and reception. Once you get out of the elevators, you walk up a beautiful set of stairs with mirrors and an elegant chandelier above you. There's also an access elevator to take you up, which opens to a great wine display case. The cocktail hour area was amazing! It is so beautiful and elegant, and has gorgeous views of the city and the ocean. The bar is classy, complete with a fireplace and piano! The wraparound windows for the cocktail hour and the reception are truly breathtaking! The reception area is right next to the cocktail area, so the flow in between is very convenient. The dance area was smaller than I would like, but the dining area was very big and could comfortably fit our prospective 150 guests. The sweethearts table would be against the window, with the Channel Islands behind. We could imagine a beautiful sunset behind us. There is a large mirrored display case across from where the sweethearts table would be, so the couple could also view the sunset during dinner. The display case looked like a great idea to put photos in and other meaningful items to display throughout the wedding. The bathrooms were also very impressive. They were clean, well decorated, and smelled great! We could honestly see our wedding here. We absolutely loved Ginny. We had such a great time throughout our appointment. She has a great attitude, is professional, has infectious energy, and is very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and really made us feel comfortable with her. Franklin, the general manager, also left a wonderful impression on us. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. When we asked about the beer options available, he was very accommodating and even served us a Firestone Union Jack and a Martinelli's on a silver platter. After our appointment with Ginny, we stuck around to take videos and pictures of the views and the space. We got to spend more time with Franklin, who had cooked himself a beautiful steak for lunch, and even let my fiancé try a bite. We were truly blown away by his hospitality. We also loved the convenient location of the hotel they partner with - Courtyard by Marriott. It's right across the parking lot! You and your guests don't have to worry about driving after the reception, since your room is within walking distance! They couldn't have made it any easier for you! I would definitely, definitively recommend checking this venue out for your wedding or any other events you might be having. The space is elegant and city-chic, with gorgeous views. They are very efficient and approachable. they have tons of recommendations on how can we flawlessly proceed with our wedding party. it's basically a one-stop shop for all your wedding party needs. we got our invites through Wedgewood as well and our ring pillows, flutes and a lot more and they are all very pretty. we also had live Betta fish for each table and both of them allowed us to store it a day before the party so we won't be rushing transporting the Bettas during our wedding day. we love the planning binder that they have provided. it was very structured. the glasscase in the reception venue is very pretty especially if you really have a good stylist working on it. we love how the glasscase turned out during our wedding. Cons: Angie and Ginny weren't there on the day of our wedding reception (but we have our own planner/stylist so it's okay). the tables were laid out slightly close to each other so there's a very small space for my hubby and i to move around considering that my wedding gown train is kinda long. i believe the table layouts can be improved. the per person price is expensive especially if you have kids/teens attending cos they pay full adult price (with $8 discount) for that. i think this part can be considered. yes, it is pricey but considering that it's a one-stop shop and efficiency of these ladies, we can say it's sort of reasonable (except for the 5-21 yrs old full price rate). read more

I was in charge of planning my office event on 2/20 and all I can say is THANK GOODNESS for Angie, Leslie and Chris. They helped us through the finishing touches and adjustments of the event. The day of staff was rockin. I popped into the office upon arrival to introduce myself to Leslie since it was my first time meeting her in person and she was super helpful with the last minute questions that I had... & my lack of IT knowledge. I always wanted to have a beach ceremony. When my fiancé popped the question, the search for the perfect venue that would allow me to do that began. I heard about Wedgewood from one of my bosses since she had gotten married at their San Clemente location. When we had our first consultation at the Tower Club, it felt like love at first sight. Wedgewood pacific tower review Pro's We truly did have a great time at our wedding at Wedgewood, and we will never forget 10/02/2021 with a pandemic still going on, with all of our family, and friends to help us celebrate our special day We have a lot of Pro's and Con's about Wedgewood Pacific Tower I believe we had the first Nightmare Before Christmas theme wedding at Wedgewood. Big blue building that has perfect spots outside for amazing picture taking. The view from the 22nd floor is amazing. The ceremony room is very nice with a great view for amazing pictures. Staircase is elegant, especially when you put flowers all around the railings. The reception room is big with lots of room for the tables to be spread out. Shelves with glass to put display your pictures, items if you're having a theme, etc.... We chose to put 8 people at each table to give more leg, and arm room for each person. Dance floor is all black shinny tile, it's nice but on the small side With the Wedgewood, you get a wedding planner to help plan your wedding. At Wedgewood it comes with its own vendors, a DJ, Photographer, Baker for Cake, Florist, and many more. You can choose from a buffet dinner, or sit-down dinner, we chose Buffet Manybell's Creations Florist, some miscommunications in the beginning, but in the end, Maribel did a fantastic job on the flowers for ceremony, tables, and Staircase. Photobooth was great, and fun to use. Con's The security guards for the building truly suck bad! Outside taking pictures and video before the wedding started, we were locked out of the building, cause guards were no where to be found to open door, we waited outside for almost 20 minutes trying to get in. We went with our own Vendors except for the Florist and photobooth A lot of miscommunications with vendors of what's included in the package, with vendors most things are a up charge depending on what you want. My wife had her vail down before her music started, the wedding coordinator told her to put it back up, and she would tell her when to put it down, and the coordinator forgot to tell her to put it back down. We had Amanda as our coordinator in the beginning and middle, but we were not informed that Amanda didn't work for Wedgewood anymore, and now we would have new coordinators We were asked what specialty drinks we would like to have as our first drink. My wife wanted a Pina Colada, and Blue Hawaiian, day of wedding, we sat down for dinner, we asked about our drinks, we were told that Wedgewood was supposed to call us to tell us they didn't have blender to make her Pina Colada, she chose an apple martini which she said was not that good, and Bar Tender messed up on my Blue Hawaiian, Bar Tender puts in way too much Liquor so the drinks are way to damn strong Bakery, don't return phone calls, emails, wanted to upgrade on everything, and basically 80% of the cake would be Fondant Wedgewood said they are looking for a new bakery. We went with A Sweet Design in Granada Hills, she did an amazing job on our 3 tier Nightmare before Christmas wedding, she used Oreo Butter Crème instead of Fondant DJ Robin, she probably is a good DJ, no website to look at her work, we went with Tasty Sounds Entertainment in Van Nuys, they did a great job Photographer, I interviewed the vendors ones, we couldn't get a good vibe with them, and yes maybe they are great, but we hired our own. We went with Eugene Photography and Video, they took such amazing pictures and video of the wedding, ceremony, Bride, Groom, and everything else. The buffet dinner. Unfortunately, we were not able to do a food tasting cause of the pandemic. The food 50% said it was great, and the 50% said it was not bad, but the prime rib was very fatty, and very rare, we have to agree with the 50% said it was not bad. The Sweet and Tangy meatballs, Mini Shrimp Tostada for Hors d'oeuvres were great. Dinner Panko Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and Three cheese scalloped potatoes, and Oven Roasted Salmon were great, everything else was just ok. The slide show for pictures, they said they got a new DVD player to play USB, but they didn't, it took them a long time to figure out another way to play it in another section of the room. It's official, I'm a Tower Club Bride! My fiance and I recently booked our wedding at the tower club for Spring of 2016. A week ago I scheduled an appointment to view the Ventura, Tower Club, and Sterling Hills Wedgewood venues. I only got to see two because once I visited the Tower Club I knew it was the right choice for us. The brand new outdoor ceremony site is absolutely gorgeous. There are three water fountains on each side up at the alter which is going to look so amaizng both on the big day and in the pictures. I was a little worried because it is in the middle of the parking lot, but the area is large and so nicely decorated that you forget all about that. The reception area is up on the 21st floor. The views...that chandelier...the cocktail lounge...just GORGEOUS! The reception area looks very upscale, and is done in a black, white, and gold theme (which just so happens to be my wedding colors, perfect!). I saw a little wear and tear on the chairs in the cocktail lounge, but they've been around a while so that is to be expected. The space is so HUGE, let's just start with the cocktail lounge. It has a pretty big bar, multiple tv's, a fireplace, tables and booths, and amazing views of the mountains. The dining room has a beautiful dance floor area, a dj booth, a glass cabinet that you can customize with floral arrangement and photos, and views of the ocean and islands. I wish I could give this venue 5 stars because the place itself is beautiful but the quality of customer service we received was very disappointing. Our coordinator was Brittany, she was difficult to get to text back whenever I had a question, the two meetings we had with her she never remembered what we discussed, I had to continuously follow up with her because she would never follow through with what we discussed in the meetings. We added the open bar but requested to exclude the premium liquor from our tab; however Brittany forgot to mention it to the bar tender and our bill ended being much higher than we anticipated, her response "I'm sorry I forgot that detail". We were also told that the day of the event there will be someone throughout the night to assist us with whatever we needed but there was someone available only for the first 2 hours after that we had to walk around the venue looking for assistance. I was really upset about the bar bill and the overall customer service so I called and spoke with Shannon the director who was very nice and apologetic. Our event was in August, 2022, I hope that our feedback helped improve the overall customer care experience. read more

Our 4.6.18 wedding was perfect. You can't beat the quality or the price! Ginny and Angie were both super responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Ceremony: This was my greatest concern because there is not a lot of greenery for pictures. I was soooo pleasantly surprised my photos came out amazing in front of the tree. There was some wind and things were not set out with that in mind (napkins were flying, a sign fell and broke) but everything was straightened before people came. All of the vendors we used from them including flowers, cake, and dj were so perfect! Reception: From our appetizers to drinks every detail was great. The dj kept us on track and the music was perfect. They were great at helping us pack everything up at the end of the night. LOVED our Wedgewood Wedding!! All my interactions with the girls were great, and the banquet captain did a fantastic job. The ceremony site was beautiful and everyone just loved the food. Wedgewood made everything so easy and low-stress for my husband and I and it all turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I removed one star due to two pretty significant issues: - The cake cutting was an absolute mess. When it was time for the cake cutting the DJ announced it and we, along with all our guests went over to the cake table. There was no knife or server for us to use, even though it was in our contract that we could use theirs. We waited 5 minutes (more than a full song) with all our friends and family for the knife to appear. Eventually one of the servers brought it to us. Also, they were supposed to serve the top layer and didn't and my husband and I were supposed to get a small piece of each, but we both got none. - The security guard who was charged with opening the doors downstairs was hard to deal with and even rude at times. One guest ran out to her car to grab something, and when she called, the guard told her she had the wrong number, and she had to convince them to come open the door for her. Also, my family got locked out at the end of the night, and could not get the security guard to respond, so they weren't able to do a final check to make sure we had all our stuff. Overall, the experience was fantastic! Super easy planning process, great food, beautiful wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything better and would recommend this venue to anyone! read more

Wedgewood weddings was a wonderful company to work with. We didn't think our wedding could happen during this pandemic but Wedgewood went above and beyond to make it happen the way we dreamed. The staff was very responsive and super helpful. The event planners and vendors were so amazing to work with. This is a great all inclusive company to have for your wedding especially if you don't know where to start or you don't want to do a lot of the planning. They make it easy for you to make decisions for your wedding well not making you overwhelmed. We were very impressed by the food and our guests complemented about the food immensely. Ginny and Angie were amazing from the day we signed our contract to the day of our wedding. I was able to have the wedding of my dreams for under 14k but they can accommodate any budget! My husband and I keep hearing from our guests how it was the best wedding they've been to and couldn't believe the view of the sunset during cocktail hour. My husband and I met with Ginny July 2015. Her love for the venue and the upcoming renovations is what got us so excited to have our August 2016 wedding there. She showed us what the new ceremony site would look like and how reception room would be changing as well. She was so happy for all the new changes and we wanted to be apart that. We signed our contract before all the renovations both Ginny & Angie were more than happy to let us go over often to see the changes and let us go often so we can get all our decoration templates together according to the room.
