First of all... I really didn't like how the floors of this mall was half carpet... Why??... This mall is an alright mall, it's not horrible, nor great. 2 floors, not that many stores to choose from... the food court looked nice BTW. The stores there are like any other mall that you would go in to. They have the basic Abercrombie, American Eagle, Victoria's Secret, etc. Being the only Asians in the mall, my family loved how we were being stared down like we were a bunch of aliens.... yeahh... Awesome mall!! Went to this mall while on vacation and had a good time walking around. I have a 2 year old daughter currently potty training and for all the moms out there this place has the most amazing toddler friendly family bathrooms in the food court with toddler sized potties and sinks and nursing rooms and changing tables. It very open and big and private and you have to even press a button to get buzzed in so not just anyone can go in. Huge food court and cute safe child okay area in the food court and even kid friendly table abs chairs for eating. Love this mall and wish my malls back here at home were like this. What a joke. On signs by trader joes says they have coach they don't. Then the pan handlers that accost you in parking lot asking for money. When I called the mall to tell them this the lady said homeless is all over. She did not care that they are approaching people as they are loading their cars. read more

The fact that they have a Target here makes me very happy. I love Target. On another note this mall has a great selection of stores to fit whatever mood you are in. Their Macy's is top notch. Always have what I need (or don't need lol) in stock. Love the new live entertainment thing they had going on in the middle of the mall. Good selection at Ben & Jerry's ............ Phish Food rules!!! Food court has enough choices to satisfy just about anyone for lunch or dinner. Like the view from the outside tables - OUTSTANDING! The mall is nice. There are many stores available and the restroom and food court areas are kept very clean. My favorite area is the water fountain at the front. It is very peaceful and also a good place for kiddos to run around and play in the water. Some of the stalls scattered throughout the mall are annoying like the lotion people but everyone has to making a living somehow. read more

I remember when the mall had just been remodeled, I used to love going there. Heck, I even worked at the Rob-May for a couple of years before it turned into Macy's! Every time I go back, it seems to be the same ol' tired stores. Multitude of stores constantly leaving and annoying tilted, cracked floor tiles like multiple reviews state. Very dirty mall, especially restrooms, it doesn't seem like there is ever enough housekeeping performed. Spills happen so frequently and are left unattended for too long. This is an important area of improvement to ensure your guests' safety and comfort so they can shop and spend money in a relaxed environment. Security and housekeeping need to be more visible, they are usually hard to come across when needed. Also, when one is using restroom, please refrain housekeepers from changing out toilet paper in stall next to the one being used. Major invasion of privacy as the metal door in which toilet paper dispensers are located is opened up and creates a window of display. Happened to me numerous times and makes me very upset. Also, inside ladies restroom, multiple stalls contain no trash cans, tampons, etc. are being thrown on floors. Music is obnoxiously loud and in addition, there is too loud of a merry-go-around upstairs inside food court, which makes the noise level unbearable while having a meal. Unfortunately, sitting outside isn't always an option, even on sunny days, there are no umbrellas to shield your head from scorching and tables are usually dirty both inside and outside. read more

This mall has gone down the drain! No more big chain stores! Over crowded! Forget going there on sunday! Its like the swap meet! Mariachi bands playing and it seems like all they have is jewelery stores and cell phone repairs! Its used to be awesome but its so run down now! People feel the need to bring the whooooole family to walk around, lay on couches, let their kids run and nobody is even shopping! Id rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the thousand oaks mall! We were visiting from southern Oregon and this mall was AMAZING. The biggest mall I have EVER seen. People were SO friendly. The shopping was great. Our local mall is like 1/4 this size so my job dropped when we went inside this one. We went to VS for am invisible bra (worked AMAZING BTW), Macy's for Versace perfume, Target for some clothes and an eyelash comb (Jennifer was a great help), Panda Express (omg orange chicken!), the Disney store! We didn't even get to explore everywhere but it was just so awesome. read more

This mall is a great location for the area. Ventura is not a big city however it is very conveinietly located and near many shops and stores. I work right across the mall and nearly come in for coffee every morning to Coffee Bean, which is by far one of the best I go to. Friendly staff and always quick to do every order. Definitely recommend to spend some time to just shop around. read more

I brought some cloths there and I returned some items but had my receipt. I did not have my card that I purchase the items on which with a debt card ( so I wanted cash ) The said she was only able to give me store credit and I ask for the manager and told her what happened that I lost the card. She told me I would have to wait till a new card came till I can return the items. I said I wanted to call corporate office and she started trying to belittling me. Telling me that this was a habit because I told I lost my card last year and the that manger did it with no problem .Who cares I brought it on a debt same as cash! Well after 15 minutes of her lecturing she finally gave me the money. She made me fell like I was at fault and she was giving money away! The consumer service sucks. I'm really not cool with how the mall has taken out the free play area for kids and replaced it with an area of expensive pay for play activities. I don't even want to take my kid to the mall anymore because I don't want to hear her whine about me not being able to afford to let her freaking bungee jump or ride on one of those creepy looking rigid stuffed animals on wheels. This really SUCKS for moms needing a break from shopping or looking to find something to do when the weather is bad. The mall itself is ok but it is RAMPANT with fast talking sales pitch people in kiosks which is really obnoxious. It DOES have a huge Target and an Old Navy, which seems to be the only reason I go there anymore at all. My FAVORITE part of this mall is the family bathroom (does that tell you anything?). Its got a kid sized toilet next to a normal toilet and a little low sink next to a tall sink. My little one thinks that this is the coolest thing ever, a bathroom just her size. It also has a rocking chair in the nursing room. The Oaks Mall does it better. read more

This mall has been going down for months. They are catering to one demographic only. That is sad. There is no diversity. I don't want to listen to a mariachi band when shopping. Sorry, I just don't. RJ @ Vans was more than helpful. Was super kind and patient and not to mention cute. He was more than willing to go back to get all the shoes I wanted. He made at least 20 trips making sure I had the right size and all the extras (cleaner/socks) etc. He was very knowledgeable about what previous customers said. He helped me decide on the best shoe size for my lifestyle as well as work wise. He explained that some of the canvas shoes tend to break in and loosen with wear. Which resulted in my getting the right pair perfect fit, style for what I needed. He was so patient I can't stress that enough and even with a lot of customers in the store at that time I never felt like he forgot about me or was too busy to help me like I have felt the past few times I came into this store. Terry the manger was extremely knowledgeable on what shoe cleaner I needed for my needs and desires( long life of shoe as well as the resistance to fading). The store as kept clean and tidy, no garments on the floor and everything folded and set accordingly. Overall great experience. Definitely created a lifetime customer with Vans! (: read more

The decor is tacky, half the shops are closed and the other half that are there carry junk! This is a mall you go to if you know exactly what you need and you run in and out. Today I did a favor for my mom and went in to Victoria secret. I went in there to look for a perfume. when I first walked in there was a lady there didn't greet me or ask me if I needed help. I walked around that store for almost five minuets looking like a sinner in church. About six employees walked by me or looked at me standing there but I got no help. when I tried walking to ask for help they made a B-line right to the other end of the store. And for my that being my first time in the store that was definitely not the kind of impression you want to make for a first time costumer. read more

We take my Grandkids to the Mall play area sometime early in the morning, Since they have moved it to the FOOD COURT we Watch the Employees who work in these restaurants climb over the counters to enter their work place. They all walk with their dirty shoes on the same counter where they put your food, we have watched them open and not one person washes off the counter before serving your food. Now I do not understand why these Employees do not have a KEY to Open up the back door to enter work each day, it is not only unsafe using a CHAIR to Step onto the counter but very very unsanitary and discusting to know this is a daily routine, and it is DAILY. I'm WONDERING WHY THIS MALL ALLOWES THIS TO HAPPEN? Why Do These Employees not enter through a door? I really hope someone has a Good answer, because I would not allow anyone I care about to eat at any of these places . read more

I came here for the first time yesterday, and it was amazing! I loved it! I went to the food court for dinner, and it was great. The mall was very clean and i loved how it was designed. Parking was really crowded, but I managed to find a spot. I hope I can come here again. read more

Victoria's Secret staff are incredibly helpful loved them! What a great store always really organized

The only reason I visit this mall is because of the anchor stores, JCPenney and Target. However, other than that, it's quite horrific and by that I mean its food court and 2nd floor DQ business. More than once have I seen cockroaches and other bugs walking around on the floor and no one seems to care. About a month ago, I saw a one at least 4 inches long by the JCPenney 1st floor mall entrance. I've reported this to the people who work cleaning up the mall and it seems like the mall management doesn't give them the proper tools or equipment to clean. Not only that but food vendors are not pushed to clean or take their trash out. Also someone needs to do something about the MICA make-up kiosk. Those girls either sell make up or something else by the way there are always guys hanging out and around them and really cheapens the whole mall. It's a shame. And let's talk about SECURITY. They don't do anything about the homeless people taking up the seats in front of Target. Even the wife of one of the security guards sits down and chats with them. Seating is supposed to be for customers and they don't buy anything but take up space. They also don't do anything about people walking dogs in the mall, pooping and peeing every corner. Back in the day they only allowed small dogs and only if the owner carried them. When trying to get into the Family restrooms, you push a button and security remotely buzzes you in. I've seen men walk in there with no kids. However, I once tried to get in to get to my sister who was inside with my niece. Security rudely replied through the speakerphone that I didn't have kids with me so I had to use the other restrooms. My sister was inside and I had to give her the diaper bag. They replied that I had to wait outside! Security is by far the rudest and most incompetent element in this mall so don't expect any help from them. Call VC Police instead. read more

I visited my local Victoria secret in the mall I work at and I planned on only buying one bra but ended up buying two due to Saray amazing customer service. She sized me with out asking witch I loved because I always say no and always get the wrong size and she was moving so fast I didn't have time to say no to all the bra styles she brought. I don't know about the rest of the mall but I was very happy with my treatment at the Piercing Pagoda. Last week I got a cartilage piercing and the staff was very friendly, however they mistakenly charged me for some ear-care solution and forgot to give it to me. I went back this week and the lady there was very nice and gave me the ear-care without question and asked me how my piercing was doing. On a side note, I haven't had any issues with my piercing so far and have been cleaning it with saltwater and tea tree oil, but I will use the ear-care now that I have it. :) read more
