A+ cat food local and they know what they're putting in there

Just another thank you to the entire feed crew. I so appreciate all your guidance and wisdom re; my animals from farm to home, it's hard with such a great selection, so thank you. I always feel like a valued customer

So comfy. By Sofft. Runs a 1/2 size big.

I shop here every year when the Ventura County Fair is in town. Last year, I bought Wrangler clothing as they have a great sale during the fair. Today, I bought Sofft shoes/slides/mules. They were on clearance and so comfy. Clearance merchandise may not be refunded or exchanged. I double checked the fit on the shoes. I am so glad I did. I bought an 8.5 instead of a 9. We also love the annual Pet Fair!!! We also love Dr. Ron's (low cost) pet vaccines.

The wharf has become such a staple in Ventura for all the farm and domestic pet owners. Every time I come in I'm reminded of the beauty that it is to live in a city that has a little country, too. My go to place for wood shavings (I get the classic) and for chicken feed. There have helpful team members that are always on the ready to help you answer questions, locate an item or help you load up the sacks of food into your cart. All are nice and friendly.

The clothes they sell is hand crafted, unique, one of a kind, mostly made in various parts of Mexico. I love the style, textiles, colors, overall vibe, chic-casual and originality. Prices are a tad on the higher side, but it's worth to get an original piece here, you'll stand out in the good way! I also love their home decor and jewelry, it does remind me of merchandise I saw or bought in Mexico, great variety, quality, nice mirrors with pretty frames and pottery pieces that would pop in a room. Lobos Del Mar is a world into itself!

This place is a GEM! I was walking with my kids after breakfast, and my son said, "Mom, can we come…read morein here? They have beautiful dresses you would love!" I am so happy that I agreed as this place was a journey back into all of my personal travels to Mexico. I immediately knew how special this shop was as I talked to Nicole, and she shared with me the heart of the owners to share the 'artesania' of the indigenous artists of Mexico and South America. I was very impressed with the representation of the different styles of craft from various regions in Mexico! This is one of the best curated collections of the craft from my home country that I have ever seen. It also warmed my heart to see pictures of the artists throughout the shop and to know that the owners consider them friends and have a love to share their gifts with the world. Also, normally, this work is very inflated in our country, making it somewhat inaccessible for people to buy with the crazy markups. I appreciated that they not only had wonderfully curated quality pieces, but the prices were reasonable for the style of work. Knowing that the local artists are being supported to continue to thrive in these crafts makes me want to support this business even more! I love the connection and knowledge that they share. This was evident in my conversation with Nicole. She was so kind and passionate about her care of the shop. It was like walking into a shop, but also have the expertise of an art curator sharing knowledge. Such a wonderful place!!! You will absolutely find a new treasure here!!!

I'm so glad I did! The shop is small, and honestly, I was half-expecting to be ignored or treated poorly since I wasn't with my wife at the time. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The lady helping me was super friendly, made a few great recommendations, and I ended up leaving with two high-quality shirts at a reasonable price. Next time I'm at Fluid State, I'll definitely stop by again to grab another shirt, and maybe a dress for my wife too. I'm so glad these mom-and-pop shops are still around!

I'd never actually stopped in Ventura before and much to my delight, we ran into ALOHA ON MAIN just a few steps away. What a great store, perfect for any of us tiki crazed peeps. I honestly thought to myself this had to have been a joke or something, what, with not getting in to Ventiki and then steps away, there's a killer tiki store. I haven't won the lotto yet, but look at this dumb luck right here! The friendly gentleman running the store was nice, well informed and very patient with my Autistic son. He also mentioned that my "Book of Tiki" that I've had for 24 years has become quite the collector's item. Who knew?? Prices seemed to be very fair to this reborn tiki collector and I picked up these two awesome decanters and the Poached Poet mug, all from Tiki Farm. I'd had my eyes on the Elvira and Poet for some time. The Sven Kirsten decanter was just too cool to pass up and was priced fair. Lots of great art, mugs and clothes. Check 'em out: https://www.instagram.com/aloha_on_main/ Ventiki, by the way, looked like an awesome spot too. I took a quick look around and liked the small, cozy bar, ambiance and outdoor "lanai" with plentiful seating. I recommend a stop at both on your next California road trip!
