I like this Place Because of all of the Sonic & Sanrio Merch that you can get, also including Drinks & Candy as well

Right after I posted these photos, my husband left his phone on the bench we were sitting at by Red Robin. It took us about 20 minutes to realize he had lost it. By the time I returned, there was a group of teenagers sitting at the bench, but the kind gentleman at the massage kiosk had informed me that a couple had found his phone and took it to the management office. By the time I reached the office they had closed and I had to phone the after hours security. I described his phone and they brought it to me and was able to unlock it. I want to thank the Security team and the anonymous couple who returned the phone. I am so happy there are honest, decent people who come to this mall! We were on a tight schedule today, but I will definitely return. Happy shopping!

This mall, many people say, is on its last legs. Maybe it's true, I don't know. All I know is I like visiting the place. Even though some stores with very recognizable names have pulled out, the indie stores that have taken their place are quite interesting. And it's not like all the anchor stores are gone. Macy's and JC Penny are still open for business. Plus there still a few other nationally known businesses, like California Pizza Kitchen and Sephora. And let's not forget See's Candy. And the T-Mobile store on the lower level is totally legit, with honest customer service, unlike what you get from the crooked bastards at the T-Mobile store on Telephone Rd over by Vons. Among the many interesting indie stores I really like Sue's Candy. It's a small store, but it's packed with a very appealing candy selection as well as some great toys. Another reason I like to visit Pacific View is the Food Court. The Panda Express is my usual place but I've been to Charley's Cheesesteaks a time or two too. Down on the first level there is a Red Robin that still does a lot of business during peak times. I signed up for the Red Robin mailing list so I could get a free Hamburger on my birthday. I appreciated their generosity, but I didn't enjoy their burger at all. Guess I'm just not a Red Robin kinda guy. Really hated to see Jersey Mikes close. That was the best local Jersey Mikes by far. Superior sandwiches, great employees. Hope something good opens up in their spot. My best advice is don't listen to people who say this mall is dead. Go Visit Pacific View Mall! And bring some spending money. I'll bet you'll find something cool to buy. Mikey C says: buy buy buy!

I do have to agree that this mall needs a little remodeling, because it looks a little rundown and they have so many empty stores. But it's the only mall near my home and I come here often. My kids like playing in their indoor playground. It's mostly for you her kids, although I've seen older kids playing there sometimes. I like to shop at Macy's, Sephora, Target and some of others stores there. it's 's nice to have all these stores in one location. I don't want to be driving around trying to get all the things I need at different stores and sometimes it's still nice to shop at a store than online. They also have a food court with a good selection of food or a couple of restaurants, so if you get hungry after shopping you can stop and get something to eat there! So many of the people working at the mall are friendly and depend on their jobs. We should continue shopping there and help keep them in business.

It's a basic mall with no stand-out shops. Maybe it needs a nice restaurant or something to entice people to come in? It feels very dated.

The colors of the buildings, the reflections on the water, and the way people move through the space all come together in a way that feels lively and full of energy. I noticed right away that there were a lot of teenagers there, and seeing them taking pictures, laughing with their friends, and exploring the shops made the entire place feel even more youthful and exciting. It is the kind of environment where teenagers can be themselves without feeling judged or rushed, and that adds so much to the overall vibe. One thing I really appreciated was how easy it was to enjoy the scenery without needing to spend money. The marina, the boats, the open walkways, and the bright storefronts all felt like natural photo spots. Teenagers were stopping every few steps to take pictures, and it made perfect sense because the whole place looks like it was made for fun moments. The scenery almost feels animated in a way, not because it looks fake, but because the colors and shapes are so bold and cheerful that they stand out in a really playful way. It reminded me of how the props at Funko Hollywood looked so perfect for photos even though they were just meant for fun. Ventura Harbor Village has that same kind of charm where the environment itself becomes part of the entertainment. I also loved how calm and unhurried everything felt. Even with a lot of people around, including groups of teenagers moving from shop to shop, the space never felt crowded or overwhelming. There is something about being near the water that makes the whole experience feel slower and more peaceful. I could take my time walking, looking around, and enjoying the moment without feeling like I needed to rush to the next thing. The sounds of the water, the smell of food from the restaurants, and the warm sunlight all blended together in a way that made the visit feel really refreshing. I have only visited Ventura Harbor Village once before writing this review, but it left a strong impression on me because of how enjoyable and welcoming it felt. It is honestly one of the most playful outdoor places I have been to in a long time, especially because of how many teenagers clearly loved being there. Watching them take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and just have fun made me realize how perfect this location is for them. I would highly recommend that teenagers visit Ventura Harbor Village because it gives them a place to be creative, take fun photos, enjoy the water, and feel free in a positive and uplifting environment. I have lived for 24 years, but I am not physically or mentally 24 years old. In the summertime of 2024, I learned that I am still physically and mentally 18 years old, and I also learned that my prefrontal cortex is far more developed than the average 25 year old. Maybe that is why places like this feel so natural and energizing to me. They match the way I experience the world, with that mix of youthfulness, clarity, and excitement. Ventura Harbor Village fits perfectly into that feeling, and it is a place I would gladly return to because of how much joy it brings to people, especially teenagers who want a fun and welcoming place to spend time.

With nothing really planned today, we took the scenic drive from SCV to Oxnard to finally explore this outdoor mall and have lunch. Very well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, it turned out to be a great experience! There's a good number of stores of different sizes to shop and browse, Target, Century Theaters, Bowlero, park/playground, community areas with games, restaurants and food court. After our lunch we decided to sit at the park area to enjoy the cool cloudy day while watching kids roll around in the grass, people with their dogs and families engaging with each other. After that and some shopping, we ended up spending more time that we expected to. There's more than enough parking all around the mall and in the Target structure. We plan on visiting more often.

We got the best deal on jeans at Levi's and surprisingly found a nice lightweight sweater for him at Lululemon. We like to grab a light snack or drink treat while we shop. And yes, I checked the outlet website before I left for hours and it appeared that both stores were active and open. When I arrived, Joes was simply gone. I went over to the kiosk map to check and it was still listed in its usual location. But it had been replaced by another store, Reformation, I believe. An employee of the outlets walked by and said I looked confused and told me the map hadn't been updated in a minute. Disappointed, I then went over to Seven, which was also gone! Replaced by Fabletics, I think. The point is that Joes and Seven are still listed on the outlet website and they are still listed in the on-site kiosks as active stores. Not only am I disappointed that a few of my favorite stores are just gone like that, but I'm especially disappointed at the glaring lack of communication that lead to an entire afternoon being wasted. The outlets otherwise appear to be going down hill. I don't think I'll be back after this.
