They broke multiple things. Put holes in my bed frame and it's now loose and not connected properly. Multiple holes in the wall that I must recoup the cost of!!! As well as know this. If you hire TWO guys. You will receive one guy inside the truck and one guy in your house to move the objects out and back in. I'm also missing an entire box and my dustpan!! such a shame. Now give I didn't buy the insurance as I only had two tvs that were even electronic. Offc. So BUYER BEWARE!! You'll need to have another 300 for the insurance!And a stair fee. This worst company ever!!! Things broken, stolen, still missing items! Have been trying to get a copy of signed contract which they can't produce. Started at $420.. ended up paying $1480. Mover stoned. Threw couches over balcony to retrieve for garbage. Never did pick up or was going to charge $248 more. Took 5 days to get my tools back. DO NOT USE!! HORRIBLE ATTITUDES! Short version, the business tried to rip us off by doctoring our receipt. Beware! We hired this company through a third party called Simple Moving Labor. The workers did a good job but the owner (his words) tried to pressure my fiancée into signing the receipt without filling in the number of hours worked. The owner did this repeatedly, coming up with several reasons why she should sign. She's no pushover though, and she stood her ground and insisted he actually fill in the receipt before signing. Then guess what? The business submitted an altered receipt to Simple Moving Labor which stated they worked 3 hours instead of 2, resulting in us being charged over $100 more. Luckily we had the carbon copy. Simple Moving Labor confirmed that the receipt they received and our carbon copy did not match, and that it looked like someone wrote over the 2 to make it look like a 3. We were refunded the difference. I'm furious, this guy is a tool that tried to take advantage of my fiancée. His actions demonstrated his intent to rip us off and when that scheme didn't work he went ahead and altered the receipt anyway. read more

I agree with all the other posts. Do not use this company!! The only reason I had them is because they were contracted with a company to put together a weight machine which the vendor said would take four hours. They showed up at 9 am and immediately said it would be $75 to haul away the boxes. When I came home at lunch thinking they would be done they closed my garage so I couldn't get in and were not around. I left them $100 thinking they would be done my the time I got off work at 5:40. Nope, they were gone along with the money. Still had all the pieces of the weight machine all over the garage so I couldn't get into the garage to park my car and it's 105 degrees. They left the crate in my driveway and took the money. No call, to let me know if they were going to be back. I had to call the vendor in Texas that hired them to see what the status was. The president Robert Garcia is very rude. Oh and here are the diagnostics from them slamming our garage door that it was knocked offline. read more

We recently sold our hot tub and the buyer arranged for this moving company to come move it to their home. They got here at about 11:00 with 4-5 guys. I could tell by watching them they had no idea what they were doing. They tried a several ways to move it to their truck and trailer over the next hour. After a while two of the guys decided to just grab a couple chairs from our patio and had a seat. Then after trying for another half hour they decided to call someone for help. All this time they are smoking in my back yard. Then they left for about a half hour and sat in their truck. Pretty soon a bigger truck showed up and someone brought blankets. They put the blankets down on the grass and was able to slide it on its side along the blankets to the big truck. Then they decided it "would not fit", according to them, and slid it back into my yard. Instead of returning it to the patio where they found it they left it half on the grass and half on the patio! I asked one of the guys if they were coming back and he said yes they were. So I did not worry about it. We contacted the buyer of the hot tub about this and he apologized profusely that he hired such an inept moving company. He told us these guys tried to charge him $1400 even though they couldn't seem to make this fit in their truck! The buyer has another moving company coming on Tuesday to move it. We got the number of Pack It Up Moving and texted and asked them to at least come back and move it off the grass and put it on the patio. They wrote back saying they would try and come Friday but they were too busy to come back then. My husband texted them yesterday afternoon saying we heard nothing from them even though they said they would come move it off the grass. Their response was "I am busy Ivan guarantee nothing I will try I said". So, local people, be wary of this company! This is the kind of business practices they have! No integrity! read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was quoted one cost, then slammed with over double the cost after the delivery. I had even spoke to the owner, David Garcia before the delivery who said he charged $109 an hour. He did not say, as his delivery men did, that the minimum delivery charge was 2 hours! I would have told them to forget it. From my estimate, it shouldn't have taken them a full hour, let alone the hour and half they ended up charging me. So, I don't know if it's Mr. Garcia, or his delivery men who are jacking up the costs, but you'd best get it in writing before doing business with this company. My wife and I called these movers and set a time for Sat. at 10:00. They texted later and said they had to move the time to 3:00, then later moved it to 5 pm. Booked this company through uhaul without reading all the bad reviews. Boy, was that a bad decision. If there are this many bad reviews, you can trust that this is going to be bad. First off, they were NOT responsive. After several attempts to reach them, they finally texted back last minute that they would be charging double what we'd already paid, "for travel time", and were not even on their way. I definitely don't get paid for my time to drive to work, it's kind of a part of having this type of job? They knew where our address was when they accepted and confirmed the reservation and charged my card, if there was an issue, we should have been notified in advance and not had to reach out several times to just get a rude response back, trying to scam. Anyways, called uhaul and they confirmed their contracted movers should NEVER CHARGE MORE than what was in the contract. They advised we cancel since that was so vastly outside of policy and clearly dishonest in the company. Uhaul offered no other help. Uhaul needs to stop promoting companies that they can't guarantee, and stop listing movers as being located in your city, when they aren't. We are working with uhaul to remove their promotion of this company. Moving is not something minor, it really affects People's livelihood. Here we are, with a 26' uhaul, exhausted after a 10 hour drive and packing and loading ourselves, trying to unload everything ourselves, in the dark, on a Friday night and into Saturday morning, too late to book anything else. Moving is already stressful enough, do yourselves a favor and avoid this company at all costs unless you want to hire movers who never show up and try to scam you. They knew the importance of my time line because I am the one that called them when they missed calling me within the required 24 hour time upon scheduling online! Little did I know they took it upon themselves to change the original appointment time I requested. They blindly sent an email asking if it was ok. Un-licensed company. Terrible movers. Agreed to move 4 storage units with a Safe and Player Piano, 2 days, 4 men, $1400.00 cash. Worst movers ever! Agreed to a 2 day move, paid them in full on Day 1(our mistake for trusting them) even though they only emptied 3 of 4 storage units. Day 2 they called in sick. 11 days later they finished the move, but said their truck broke down (which was a lie, because they rent a U-Haul truck), so we had to use our truck/trailer. They did not pay for the gas or for the storage costs for the extra 11 days. They did not set up beds or dressers with mirrors (promised to set up everything that they had taken apart from the initial move the previous year), they hauled stuff into the house, but didn't put it in the required rooms, and Day 1 started with rows in new location (shop), ended with a mish-mash mess on the 2nd round = basically just threw the stuff in, so now there is no way to access the rows to find anything. AND on the 2nd load, they put it on the trailer, but didn't go to the shop to unload it. My poor disabled husband had to unload the trailer all by himself! Side note: We used this company a year ago to move our stuff from house to storage units. They wrapped all furniture, but then did not look at box labels. Some boxes had China that said do not put anything on top. Boxes were smashed and some items were broken when delivered. Additionally, they stacked stuff on our new couches, which now have squishy cushions after being in storage for a year. End result: Worst moving company ever and terrible customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would! Everything about this experience was a complete nightmare. I followed up with the company the day before my move that we were still on track for a 10:30 move. They assured me we were good to go on time. Then texted me in he middle of the night saying they would be there at 12:30. When 12:30 came still no movers. My contact refused to answer the phone for me and eventually texted me saying there would be there soon. They finally show up at 3PM! Yes that's correct 4.5 hrs late and not even an apology. Then the guys complained the whole time cuz they were tired and didn't even get all of our stuff moved. EVERYTHING IS JUST IN A HUGE PILE in the middle of the garage. We were running low on time and one of the guys was just standing there with a cigarette while the other one shuffled around a few boxes. This company made more promises than one could imagine, they assured me, as single mother , needing to escape a dangerous situation that my move would be worry free. Come to find out, Nothing they claimed was actually the TRUTH, they STOLE, yes you read that right, STOLE a fire arm, which is a federal offense. Admitted to that, then took it back and pretended they were offended I would accuse them. They cleared dressers and counters into the bottoms of wardrobe boxes, broke glass tables, used all of my personal folded blankets and towels for their move INSTEAD of the packing materials I PURCHASED for them, left all the wet, dirty, stained ruined blankets/towels at my new home, with out hooking the washer/dryer up or putting any furniture together. He wrote out a personal contract before leaving the new home stating that he WILL reimburse me for the weapon that was STOLEN, when it came time to do that, he lied, put me off, then finally said well....how do I know if I do pay you that you still won't file charges on me?
