All we can say is, wow. This experience moving was by far my best ever since doing it while in the military service. We've finally unpacked (2 months out) and checked over our belongings. They took care of us. It started with Adam and the inspection/estimate. He was prompt and VERY courteous. In fact, this company was the first to reply to my Yelp quote request. And the ONLY ones willing it seemed to do an onsite quote. Otherwise, all we got was one based on a standard 3BR move. He walked through and answered all our questions and asked to see everything. He explained the entire day of packing and then moving progress. He gave us quotes based on them packing and moving us, or them just moving us. He never tried to upsell us or entice us with unrealistic numbers. We scheduled both services, as the price was better than for us to do it on our own. The packing was scheduled, but I had initially given him the wrong date. They adjusted it accordingly and made sure that I was satisfied with the arrangements again. Our packers, Austin and Blake, arrived promptly when they stated they'd be there. They called first to alert us they were inbound. They had the quote and walked the apartment, ensuring they understood exactly where everything was and what they could/could not pack. They worked efficiently and quickly. We were surprised at how they just knocked it out. And their professionalism was exemplary!! They made sure we were comfortable with everything as it progressed and that they were being diligent. Next came moving day. It was a little rainy and overcast. But this didn't stop our crew of Sean and Chase. They came in and hit the ground running. Boxes flew out of the apartment at a good clip. They made sure to take care of our belongings, even so far as making two trips, since they didn't want to try and shove our couch, loveseat, and ottoman all into the back, potentially breaking something in the process. Upon arrival at our new home, they did a walkthrough inspection with us. We showed them where items would be moved, based on how they were labeled. They moved everything downstairs from our apartment into our new home without incident. The price quoted matched the price we were charged, including the packing materials. All our belongings made it safely, without any breakage. They may have even gone a little overboard on the cushion, but it was much appreciated. February 29, 2020 My husband and I were faced with the challenge of moving from a two-story home that we had lived in for 10 years. This move was the first time that both of us decided that we could do all the packing but the actual toting, moving, stacking, carting were tasks we would gladly leave to the professionals. We were not sure who those professionals were - but we knew we wanted to find them. Luckily, our co-worker, Stephen Krieg, (a very reliable and trusted source) told us to check out Help-U-Move. We called Help-U-Move and explained that we were hoping to move soon and gave them a target date that was just a little over a week away. They sent out a young man a couple of days later to complete a walk around, provide an overview of what they would do, and gave us an estimate of how many boxes we would need. We picked up the boxes the next day. Moving day arrived, and thanks to the tips provided by the estimator - we were prepared, organized, and ready for the movers. Our estimator set us up with four of the most incredibly sweet and professional movers - their names: Trent, Marty (sometimes known as Harry ), Arend, and Josh and two large moving trucks. Trent, Marty, Arend, and Josh were on time. They allowed us to conduct a semi pre-job, basically we just had to explain that we had two pets shut inside of a room and the door shouldn't be open. Showed the guys where all the boxes were - as well as a couple of storage locations that needed to be loaded. Our movers had us loaded within two hours. And, by the time my husband and I reached our new residence, the movers were just pulling up. Within two hours, they had us unloaded. They were absolutely polite, asked us where we wanted things, and set things where we had indicated. All of our possessions were handled with care, nothing was damaged. They were complete gentlemen and professional at all times. We were able to return the boxes we didn't use. The only reason we had extra boxes is because I thought I would run out and picked up more boxes for just in case. Our estimator had it right - I shouldn't have tried to guess any different. The cost of business was very reasonable - they even provided some packing tape - free of charge. Both Pat and I highly recommend Help-U-Move. They made our move stress free - and fun. Retracted previous review, and this new review will be given in its place: A few issues arose during a recent move that we had, and those were discussed in the retracted review (if anyone read it). The content of that review is unimportant for those who did not read it, because the negative things said would have only remained true as a lasting impression if the company did not rectify the problem. Thankfully, they did just that, and in fact they went above and beyond my original expectation on how to solve that particular dilemma. The owner, as well as the operating manager, are incredibly respectful guys, and they honestly are well intentioned even if something did go wrong. Positive things about the move: The company stands by their word, which speaks volumes about the kind of company that they want to be in this community. If no issues occurred during the move, then your business would have likely been concluded at the end of the day. Due to the problems we had though, continuous conversations by phone extended our business dealings for another month. While the conversations were infrequent, what I can say about them is that I never expected nor received a discourteous phone call. The company has shown themselves to be honest, well-mannered people ranging from the company owner on down to the line level employees. This is especially true of the operation manager who dealt with the day-to-day dealings behind our particular move. Aside from two problem areas that were eventually solved to my satisfaction, the rest of the move went off without a hitch, and it was completed in roughly the timeframe that I would have expected from a 3-man crew. All of this at an affordable price. Overall, we ended our business dealings on a positive note, and I was very satisfied with the service they provided. I will be using them again when we move, which is likely to occur sooner rather than later. If you decide to do business with Help-U-Move, then you should expect a positive experience too. read more

I had Help-U-Move help my family and I move across town today. As many of you know, moving is incredibly stressful. I called them with little notice as I realized at the last minute that I wasn't going to be able to do it on my own, and from the start Steve was professional and accommodating. Adam came and quoted the project and was clear about the process and very helpful. Today Marty, Raffi, and Blake showed up just when they said they would and they were geared to work. Each of the three were professional, considerate, hard working, and kind. There wasn't a moment that they all didn't have a spring in their step. Yes, I was concerned about cost, but believe me when I tell you it was worth every single penny and at the pace these gentlemen worked they saved me hundreds of dollars. It was clear to me during the process that first and foremost taking care of the customer is the entire organization's priority because they could have taken their time and made more money and I still would have appreciated their work but now I will never forget their service. Wowza! Help-U-Move, Inc. was amazing. Edgar, Eric, Jr., Paul and Craig were careful, caring, kind and fun to work with. They took so much care in making sure all our belongings arrived at our new home in the shape they left our previous home. Actually they arrived in better shape as they waited for me to sweep cobwebs and spider off the bottoms of some pieces. I have used Help U Move three times in the last three months with my move from California to Richland Washington. This company and the guys that helped with each move were kick ass, hard working, top notch individuals. Each time they have been on time, efficient, hard workers who know what they are doing. Everything was put in their place and nothing was damage. My first 26' U-haul truck load was emptied, everything was put in place in record time by Junior, Chris C and Austin in December 2021. My second 20' U-haul truck load was emptied just as efficiently by Chris N, Julian and Austin in February 2022. My third move in March 2022 was to pick up a leather couch from very tight quarters in a lower level of a house where it practically had to be wedged out and arrived and put in place at my home by Eli and Tony. The couch was in perfect condition and the legs were put back on. No matter the size of the move the guys work is outstanding and professional. This was our 2nd time using Help-U-Move. The 1st time this company delivered a piano we purchased from a private party. We were impressed that they arrived with everything/everyone necessary to quickly and carefully load and unload the piano. This time when we called to have them move us from one house to another house, Adam came over to assess the job. He was professional and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. Sean, Tre, and Josh showed up for the move. All three were the nicest young men that we have interacted with in quite a while. I don't think we've heard the terms "sir" and "boss" ever so much in that short period of time. LOL All three were quick, efficient, cautious, cooperative, and polite workers. We had a last minute move and were worried about finding a company that offered decent prices and good service. We got 6 different estimates from 6 companies and Help-U-Move was one of the most professional, informative, and helpful in walking us through every step of what the move would entail. They were also very forthcoming about things we could do to speed up the process; essentially saving us money. The day before the move we were contacted by Todd the office manager to let us know what time they would arrive in the morning. The morning of the move they let us know exactly when they were leaving the office and would arrive at our residence. Once they showed up, Chase, Raffey, Chuy, and Marty did a FANTASTIC job. With 4 men in 6 hours they accomplished what others had estimated would take 10 hours for 6 men. Once we arrived at the destination, nothing was damaged or broken. These folks did an amazing job of loading an apartment and a four bedroom house over two days and then driving to Olympia WA and unloading everything into our new home. The crew that loaded the apartment, Eric and Chino, were very efficient and worked great as a team. The heavy lift of loading the four bedroom house took all day, and yet the team, Jaden, Daulton, Austin and Chris C., maintained their efficiency and sense of humor throughout the day as there was so much "stuff" they needed to fit in the trucks. The crew that drove to Olympia, Austin, Chuy, Eli, and Eric, got an early start and were able to unload everything the same day. Nothing was lost or broken! Steve did an awesome job working with us from the beginning to give us an estimate and then kept track of everything over the three day move period. I used Help-U-Move several years ago and they did a great job. Now, 2/2025, I needed things moved around in my house (upstairs to downstairs, room to room, etc.). So based on my prior experience I call Help-U-Move. My expectations were not real high because, heck, it's now about 5 years later and most things decay and don't get better with time. So I was shocked when the owner, Steve, answered the phone and took my order! Then to further shock me, when the crew showed up to move the stuff --- guess what? - the crew lead was the same person who had moved me 5 years earlier!! And, as I had hoped, the move was perfect! I mean perfect- not a thing broke, no wall scars, and everything moved twice (my wife was in charge). Austin (the lead) and Tony did an outstanding job!! Ask for them if you call them. These guys know what they're doing! Just had them move another piano for us - this will be the third one - and they've been professional, efficient, and on time with all three separate moves. These pianos have all had sentimental value, so I stuck close and watched how they disassembled each piece and part (1 upright, one 4-1/2 ft grand, and one 7-ft grand piano) and protected the main piano. I could not have babied my instruments any better - they were respectful and careful not to scratch or mar any surface. They numbered the legs so they would go on exactly the same as they came off and they were most careful of my flooring so as not to scratch its surface. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable - it doesn't get any better than that when you need someone to move your precious belongings. From start to finish these guys were great! We had contacted 2 other companies for comparison before we hired Help-U-Move and are very satisfied with the excellent service that was provided. We were given a bid prior to our move that ended up being right on. We hired 4 guys (Sean, Blake, Jr. and Chuey) and used 2 trucks and all of our things were moved in one day without any damage. They guys worked hard for 8 hours straight on one of the hottest days of the summer. They were all professional, polite, fun, and energetic. These guys are great! My wife and I just moved to Richland. I had an L shaped desk to move that we bought and was afraid I couldn't find anyone to do a small job like that but these guys scheduled their day so that they could accommodate me. They showed up in the time frame they told me. They were very careful with my desk, even draping pads in the front door opening to ensure there would be no damage. The desk was extremely heavy but they still handled it like it was very fragile. The men were all business, the minute they got there they were working, I have to say I was impressed with their work ethics. They had everything they needed on the truck, dollies, pads, tools and more. Adam and his helper was very polite, courteous and respectful. We used Help-you-Move in Pasco, WA to load our household belongings out of a storage unit into a U-pack moving trailer. Even though we had to have another trailer delivered first thing our packing morning due to a problem with the trailer, and that caused a 2-hour delay so the guys from Help-you-Move had to wait, they were professional, curtious, and patient. Adam, Raffy, and Linden were great to work with as was Help-you-Move in General. They were fast yet careful, worked diligently, and were friendly while doing an expertly amazing job of packing the trailer nice and tight and secure to withstand the 1400 mile move to Tucson. We recently had a wonderful experience with Help-U-Move. They exceeded our high expectations. We moved from a 4 bedroom house in the Tri-Cities to a 3 bedroom house near Bellingham. They were able to load all of our items at one end within a short amount of time and then stored our household goods for a month before delivering them to our new home. The crew worked exceedingly fast but very carefully. There were no dings or dents on any of our walls. The whole process was great from the time we contacted them to the end of our move. Awesome service! I had to be out of my old home on a Monday and the bank didn't end up getting my new home closed until the following Monday, which was a surprise to me since I was supposed to close on the new house that first Monday as well. The guys at Help-U-Move, were so generous to hold ALL of my stuff during the week when it was out of my hands. A very stressful week of staying at a hotel and they definitely did not add to the stress. Todd would call for an update and hope that I had good news for not just them but for myself. They were never once rude on the phone even though they had a truck pretty much out of commission for a whole week. I would highly recommend these guys and will to all of my friends moving.
