It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The second smaller bridge, directly on land, was built in 2001.

Willard Twin Covered Bridges are basically one older historic covered Bridge very close to another newer one that was built to kind of mirror the historic structure. In theory, the idea of having the two covered bridges side by side seemed cool and like something I would want to see. In reality, getting there was kind of difficult. The location isn't well marked and I had to turn around more than once. Also, when I did eventually find them, they are much shorter and smaller than I expected, especially when you compare them to many of the other covered bridges in the area. Crossing them in my vehicle was very tight and quite nerve-wracking if I'm being honest. The narrowness and the short span of the bridge made the crossing less than charming. You're also kind of in the middle of a small residential area, so I was trying to make sure not to block any driveways or be in anyone's way. They were also really visually underwhelming and just didn't have the aaah factor that a lot of the other bridges have. If I had known how small they were and how nervous I would feel driving across them and how they're kind of situated right near houses, I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to do this again. Unless you're trying to see every covered bridge in the area, I would pass on these ones.

An all-night vigil has been held at the memorial on Memorial Day eve every year since the dedication. The site for the Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial (VVVM) was chosen for several reasons. Interstate 89 was named the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway because the summer scenery closely resembles that of Highway One in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The site for the VVVM was selected to be along the highway as a joint symbol of recognition of the highway's name and familiarity to Highway One in Vietnam. Interstate 89 was the highway taken by draft evaders as the most direct route into Canada and so stands as the "road less travelled" by Vietnam veterans. The location of the VVVM is closest to the 138 mile marker from the Canadian border, symbolizing the 138 men whose names appear on the Vermont granite. It's located adjacent to the Sharon Visitor Center (exit 1 on I-89 north).

My family has loved going to shows at the Lebanon Opera House for over a decade now. However, an…read moreexceptional experience earlier this month inspired me to write this review. My mother and I brought my dad, who has mobility challenges, to see The Music Man. It was his first time going to the theater in a wheelchair, and we were relieved that the space was accessible and that everyone was kind and accommodating. We were especially lucky to meet the wonderful David Schwartz, who was ushering the show. He truly went above and beyond to make the theater a welcoming and joyful place for us -- helping my dad to his seat, bringing him water, and even assisting us back to our car when an unexpected logistical problem forced us to leave at intermission. My father is still talking about his kindness! We are very grateful for his help and good humor and to the theater for many years of art and joy.

This is a very cool old building and an awesome resource for this town. The building itself is currently undergoing some renovations, so hopefully it will be brought into a loving level of care; last I was there the upper floors were closed for construction, the stage needed a new floor, and there was some cracking and peeling in the ceiling. A lot of the shows are largely volunteer run, so it's often a mixed group of community members ushering folks in and taking tickets. So the customer service level ends up being a bit mixed as well. But I've generally had good experiences and found everyone to be accommodating, even if it might sometimes take them a minute to figure things out. Nice spot to see a show, although it is all seating, so maybe not ideal if you want to do some dancing.

I love how each exhibit was something I had never seen before. Overall, the museum is very clean and organized. I was impressed by how interactive the exhibits are: each station has questions to ask yourself and sometimes even tangible sample structures to help you better understand the art without damaging it.

Hanover is lucky to have this nonprofit theater to benefit its citizens and enhance the regional cultural basis. The Hanover Improvement Society helps fund the theater, as well as the Storrs Pond Recreation Area and the Campion Ice Rink. Yes, it is older and the old-style seats done recline, but if that's the best criticism of the place, it is a superb establishment. The Nugget is cozy, with a fairly good sound system in all its different cinemas. We just saw Wicked here, well attended with a good number of college students and older folk. Full (non-alcoholic) refreshments and giant pop corn buckets. We're lucky to have the theater and it merits our support

By the time we got there 15 minutes after opening the museum was packed and we had to wait in a long line to get in. From there the museum continued to get more and more busy.
