We ordered roast beast, farmers cheese, and salami. My kids were blown away at how delicious and fresh it was. The day I arrived Walmart had just implemented restriction on wearing face masks for covid protection and apparently the website did not match their current policy. Sadly a young man, probably being paid minimum wage was taking a verbal beating for the website inaccuracy. However, he kept his cool and continually explained the newest policy. I being from IL was very familiar with mask restrictions so it wasn't an issue for me. I found the store to be large and generously stocked, after all this is a "super store" and it was massive. Sadly I did not find my CD, but it's not a bad place to shop in NE.

This is a great spot to get delicious sandwiches on homemade bread which is delivered daily to the market from a baker in town. And the ladies behind the counter.. so friendly!! They made me want to move to Milford and get to know them better :) The market itself has so much to offer too. Kitchen staples galore. Lots of local jams, salsas and sauces as well as candles and soaps etc. I picked up a couple gifts while we were there. If it wasn't 150 degrees today we would've enjoyed our sandwiches outside where they have a bunch of Adirondacks and a picnic table. Next time!!

They have a great deli where you can also grab a fantastic sandwich when you need something ready to eat. They stock a lot of small batch jams and jellies and specialize in supporting smaller farms and producers. You can also snag toys, home decor and a huge wall of candies. I hit this shop up weekly for lunch or last minute staples I run out of. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The best way to describe it is, you know that shopping area in a Cracker Barrel that is supposed to feel like classic Americana but is just the same mass produced stuff from coast to coast? This is the real life version of that. Real products and tie in a great little grocery store. This is the real deal spot. You won't be disappointed! Try the Ball of Fire sandwich. It is my personal favorite.

While waiting two emplyees pushing a big cart walked by me, one came up and ordered me to move out of the firelane which I had two wheels over the line. Very rude and demanding tone. They came back around the building walked right by my car again I asked her about the Pumpkin cart the is accually in the whole firelane. (See picture) She said that is part of the store and that is OK to that. A manager at the Fairbury,NE Walmart can talk to customers as if they are children, I wonder how the employees are treated. Very sad day for Walmart Stores.
