The very next morning, I was contacted first thing at 7am by the owner. He explained that he was just down the road, and had a crew member close who could be at my house shortly to survey the damage. The crew member arrived about one half hour later and gave me a quote. Although like I previously mentioned, I wasn't planning on buying a new garage door, I liked ours fine the way it was, it was time to pay the piper for the wife's inattentiveness. I agreed to the $800+ estimate and was told the crew would be out the next day to install a new door. Later in the afternoon when I wasn't home, the owner called and said his crew had finished another job earlier than they thought and could install my door that afternoon. Although I wasn't home, I gave them the go ahead and let them know the man door to my garage was unlocked. When I got home over 2 hours later, I had a new garage door that looked great.
