Came here on a Friday evening after checking in at our vacation club Marriott located in Marbella Spain. This Restaurant was in the downtown area and was about a half hour drive to get there. We found parking on the street which was metered and the restaurant was just minutes from where we parked. I made reservations via the concierge and when we arrived we were seated immediately. We actually met the owner Javier and head chef who introduced himself and recommended a bottle of local wine from Ronda Spain - which was about an hour and a half drive away in the hills. We started off with some stuffed peppers which were mouthwatering tasty and followed with the black ink seafood paella pasta for two. The Paella was incredible tasting and the portion was so large we had ppenty of leftovers. For dessert we ended with an apple tart and vanilla ice cream which was a perfect ending to a great meal. BTW the restaurant is popular and when we departed around 10:00 PM , the place was packed solid. I would highly suggest reservations if you plan to dine here!

This restaurant is beautiful and delicious. The paella comes in a huge serving dish and if you ask for a paella for 3, it may feed 5. The waiter was so kind to advice us so we don't over order. The paella of the house was spectacular. We also had the leeks and they very delicious. The owner is always walking around greeting his guests. From what I could tell he spoke Spanish English and French. The staff is also very worldly. Coming back for my birthday In 2 days.

Tasteless and very expensive Sea food Paella. Avoid at all cost. You can definitely get much better at lower price in Marbella. May be this is why there is almost no customers at lunch time...

Black paella, just amazing, excellent service! One of our favourites in this area. Consistant quality and great wines.

When I am in Estepona, a few months out of the year, this is my favorite restaurant and I eat here…read moremultiple times a week. First, you will definitely need a reservation. It is always busy. There is seating in the "patio" with a nice man made fireplace in cooler months. There is the main area with the bar and a long table. And there is the option to sit on the 'terrace,' which is a pedestrian street. Weather cooperating, we love to sit on the terrace and people watch. All areas are extremely clean and cheerful. Service is friendly and efficient without being pesty. When a table is reserved, it is yours from your reservation time to the remainder of the evening. They never try to hustle you along so that others (without a reservation) might be seated. American restaurants could learn from this. The menu has about 30 different tapas offerings as well as pinchos, tostas, and entrees. There is something for every appetite. There is always one or two tapas of the day, which change. I am not a seafood eater, so I am thankful that at least half the items offered are not from the sea. My boyfriend loves seafood, so there is plenty to satisfy his tastes, too. We really like to chose 2 to 3 tapas each and that is very filling. My favorites are "taco de manzana" and the chicken burrito, oh, and the mini lamb hamburgers! I guess I really don't have just one favorite! Everything is very fresh and tasty. Most of the tapas are 2€ and 3€. The tostas are 8€ and very filling. My favorite is tosta queso de cabra. Among larger items, my boyfriend really likes the shrimp brick. They will also accommodate an appetite and make it larger or smaller. I normally drink sparkling water or tea. My boyfriend is the wine drinker. They have an extensive wine offering and at least once a month will have a special event with wine pairings or a wine class. They have a full time sommelier who organizes these events. There is also a full bar. I will usually have an after dinner drink. The pours are generous! Our bill for the evening (2 people) is usually 20€-25€ for 6 tapas, a wine (or two), water and an after dinner drink. Highly recommended!

A lovely place with nice ambiance. However, I feel it was…read morenot as gastronomical tasty as I have expected. I was expecting more and was disappointed. My tuna poky bawl was very mediocre and the foie gras tapas was lacking in flavour. I would not recommend for a " gastronomic " experience
