RIP OFF ATTEMPT - LIARS AND THIEVES Reeds Tire tried to rip…read moreme off on 8/22/23 when I took my car in for inspection. - Not only did they keep me waiting for 2 hours, but they then told me and everyone else in the room that the inspection would fail because the brakes were shot, and would cost over $800 to replace. - They also asked when my last inspection was - suggesting to the crowd that I'm driving a death threatening piece of junk illegally. - The inspection is current of course, because I don't drive risking catastrophies. - They could've also seen the expiration date on the windshield themselves if they had taken the time to look, instead of scheming for a payout and working to make me look like a deranged ass. - But they chose to try to strong arm me out of a lot of money, with a dish of embarrassment on the side, and they lost. - I did not have any reason whatsoever to believe there was a problem with my brakes, and told them I would have to return another day. - Instead of a pass/fail certificate, I received a "safety check" document. - The reason being, I suspect, is because the only inspection that took place was to their financial benefit in how to rob me. - And a "Safety Check" lacks detection by state officials because it is not reportable to the State or DMV. - Thus, they're off the hook and a whole bunch richer, because you can bet I'm not the first player in their game. --- I ultimately took my car into another inspection station a few days later, and passed with flying colors - and no mention of brake concerns. - I'm elated that the car passed inspection as I thoroughly expected it would, but I'm also pissed to know that I was targeted by Reeds to be out several hundred dollars for unnecessary repairs, and a hopeful victim to their scam. - I also wasted a lot of time, and I'm aware - not just suspicious - that this not an isolated incident at Reeds Tire. I expect that they're constantly surveying their waiting room prey for money gouging victims. - Just sickening and shocking, so please be warned.

I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. Thank you for resolving what was a time consuming, frustrating experience!! I'm so glad my friend recommended you!!

I don't leave reviews often, but as a business owner myself, I know constructive feedback is…read morenecessary for improvement. I brought four wheels to Radial Tire to have a new set of all-seasons mounted and balanced. My car runs a staggered setup, meaning the rear wheels and tires are physically wider than the fronts. Since I maintain a small fleet of my own vehicles, I do almost all my own mechanical work, but tire mounting is one of the few things I have to outsource. Unfortunately, this experience highlighted a critical breakdown in basic quality control. I brought the wheels in loose to make the job as straightforward as possible for the shop, but they sat there for a few days before being touched. When I finally picked them up, I noticed the front tires were stretched onto the wider rear wheels, and vice versa. While the team corrected the mistake immediately once it was pointed out, this isn't just a minor technical oversight. Mismatched staggered tires can lead to a catastrophic bead failure or blowout at highway speeds. It is a severe safety hazard that could easily cause a fatal accident if it goes unnoticed before the wheels are bolted onto a vehicle. On top of the critical mounting error, the general pride in workmanship was non-existent. The wheels were handed back to me covered in caked-on mounting paste all over the outer rims without even a basic effort to wipe them down. To make matters worse, the shop also misplaced the summer tires I explicitly stated I wanted to keep. Management did the right thing by waiving the mounting and balancing fee, but at the end of the day, I am still short a set of my own property. I understand that mistakes happen, but a triple failure of safety verification, basic cleanliness, and property management means I can't risk bringing my vehicles back here, nor can I recommend them to any of the local car groups I'm a part of.
