There was one area that they seemed to have done a sloppy casting job on and I pointed it out. They took it back and "fixed" it while I waited. A few minutes later they returned the car to me (it still looked sloppy) and wished me a good day, not bothering to ask if it looked better or if I was happy with the results. I left thinking I could live with it but returned it two weeks later so they could fix it. It's a new car so I wanted it as close to new condition as possible. They took it and gave me a ride to my home, promising me that they would come pick me up later that day to get it. Later I got a call saying that they could not pick me up and my options were to find a ride or leave it until the next day. THIS WAS A HUGE INCONVENIENCE. I ended up leaving it since I could not find a ride to Harrisonburg. They also TOLD me, not ASKED me that they were going to drive my car to me the next day. I am uncomfortable about strangers using my stuff, so I was not okay with it. Their assertiveness was certainly a turn off. I could tell they just wanted to be done with dealing with me. Once I got my car, it looked better but it still looked like a band-aid solution. I'm not impressed for being the highest rated body shop in Harrisonburg.

0 stars! I took my car here on a Monday to get a state inspection. They told me I needed two tires…read moreand said they could put them on but would have to do so the following day (Tuesday). I agreed and they said it would be ready by 11a/12p on Tuesday. At 1pm I hadn't heard from them so I called and they said the tires hadn't come yet (they did not tell me they didn't have the tires), but the tires would be there any minute and the car would be ready today. I called again at 330pm and they said the tires hadn't come and it wouldn't be ready until the following day. On Wednesday at 12pm, I called again and they said they were putting the tires on now and it would be about 45 minutes and stated I would get a text when the car was ready. At 2:00, I hadn't heard anything so I called again. They said the tires were on and they were waiting for a balance machine. I informed them I'd be in at 3pm to pick up my car and it needed to be ready. At 3pm I arrived at the station and they hadn't even started putting the tires on. I waited in the waiting room until 330 when it was finally done. It took 3 days for them to put on two tires, and they lied to me about its progress every step of the way. At approximately 2:05pm on Wednesday I received a notification through the Kia Access App that the theft alarm was activated. When I picked up my car and took it home I noticed that there was clear visible damage where it appeared as though someone used something to attempt to break into my vehicle. I confronted the station about it and they apologized and stated they would pay for the damages. It has been 3 weeks and they have not issued me a refund or paid for the damages despite me following up consistently. Do not take your car here!

With only a donut spare and no tire shops able to help because of my wheel and tire size, I honestly wasn't sure I was going to make it home. I stopped at Bob Wade Subaru in Harrisonburg hoping they might have a solution. From the moment I arrived, Kas, Hunter, and Kenley in the service department jumped in to help. They searched for wheels and tires, called people they knew to see if my wheel could be repaired, and explored every option they could think of. When nothing else worked, Kas did something I'll never forget. He sold me his own set so I could continue my trip home. Their kindness and willingness to help turned an incredibly stressful situation into a positive experience. I truly don't know if I would have made it home that day without them.
