I felt compelled to share how much care and courtesy their team member, Nelson, showed me during two separate car issues. My elderly parents live in Culpeper, and I visit them every weekend. The first time we met Nelson, our car needed air. My husband and I went to three different gas stations (including the nearby 7-Eleven) and none of the pumps worked. We pulled into Car Doctor, and Nelson kindly drove our car into the garage to fill the tires. He completely refused to take any money for it. Just a few weeks later on a Friday after 5:00 PM, I was driving into town when I heard a loud pop followed by a heavy humming noise. A plastic panel on the bottom of my Prius had broken off and was dragging on the road. Even though the technicians had already gone home for the weekend, Nelson was still there. He immediately identified the problem, pulled the car in, and cut off the broken piece to create a safe, short-term fix. Once again, he refused to take a single dime! Just when I was losing faith in humanity, an honest, kind, and caring person like Nelson reminded me that great people still exist. This is small-town community care at its absolute best. While I was there, I also noticed the shop area was completely immaculate. I will definitely be bringing both my car and my parents' car here for all future services. I look forward to giving them my business!

Seems that they took me at my word when I said "check it over and make it safe for me to drive" The attention to detail is just what I was looking for. We have an '85 Vanagon that we've been driving across the country for the last six weeks or so…read more We've had issues for the past few weeks and have contacted people in pretty much every state we've been through (from Michigan to Maine and now down in Virginia and everywhere in between) and everyone has told us that the soonest they'd be able to get us in is the fall (we live in seattle, so that's not in any way practical). We just happened to drive by skyline on our way to a winery, and figured we'd take the chance and pop in to see if they could help us. I'm so so grateful we did. They obviously have a lot of work on their hands, but they got us in within a few hours. Not only did they fix our exhaust issue, but they showed my husband a few other things that he should look out for and get fixed when we can, and even gave us a few bottles of water to help beat the heat. Despite their busy schedule they accepted the tow in, and told me they'd get back to me by the end of the week (it was a Tuesday). By Wednesday, I was driving out of the lot with no fee. The battery had died and they recharged it and gave me a call right away, and assured me they checked other systems to be sure there were no errors. Car is running great, and I can't thank the folks here enough! Definitely my first call for any car trouble in the area. Note: they take all cars but specialize in Honda/Acura, so absolutely make note if that's your car brand.
