Dirty used syringe needle hanging in the shower right next to where your head would go.
    Jay G.

Upon the first evening of arrival, me and my guest discovered a used, dirty syringe needle laying out in the open in the shower! (See photos) I tried calling the front office and they were closed, so I had to wait an entire night in order to get an employee to come remove the needle the following day! Meaning, I wasn't able to use the restroom in the trailer I was renting for nearly 24 hours of my 2 night stay. The manager sent a cleaning lady to come remove the used needle the next day, and she greets me at the door by immediately telling me she forgot to wear a mask which is required by law! She entered the RV without a mask to remove a dirty used syringe. I would say these employees have zero education when it comes to sanitation and health laws and on top of it, every employee I encountered appeared as if they were under the influence themselves. (I cannot prove that, that is just my educated guess.) The management promised me a refund due to the experience, and upon checking out, I was then told nevermind! They denied my refund all together and told me to take it up with "upper management"...whatever that even means! I thought they were the management that ran this property! After threatening to call the police, they ended up refunding me for 1 night and gave me a hard time about it as if they were angry they had to give me my money back. We're in the middle of a pandemic, I don't understand how they could be leaving dirty needles around the inside of their trailers that they're renting out to paying customers. Imagine if I had my child with me on this trip?! This is completely unsanitary, dangerous, and highly illegal depending on what substance is found in the syringe. After all of the drama I had staying there, I think I'm entitled to a full refund vs the partial refund I had to fight tooth and nail for. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Tammy and Jeff, take pride and have made this a very comfortable RV Park. Don't always believe that the Resorts are your best choice.

A very country-life feel to it, complete with roosters, sunshine & a lovely breeze. The pool is gorgeous, the common area is spotless & fully equipped with laundry/private restrooms & showers/vending machines/TV/reading material & games. The owners are attentive to details, professional & personable. We look forward to staying here again, & are already planning our travels to include Green Pines RV Park on our route. Here's a short list of complaints; - Disorganized, site was not available on arrival nor were any park staff on site at our prearranged arrival time - Demanded to move to another space on short notice - No prior notification the pool is under construction and not functional - No prior notification of construction that occurred 7 days a week - Construction noise beginning before 7a - Only a single functioning bathroom/shower for the entire RV park - Loose dogs on the property - Dog feces left on grounds - Workers trespassing on sites without prior notice from park mgmt, using the site's electric and water - Construction workers living at the back of property - Owner 'forgets' verbal agreements and negatively escalates the situation rather than remedy his lapse in memory Avoid this park if possible. The rates aren't any better than other parks in Pahrump and you'll receive better customer service elsewhere.

I requested a cancellation and refund, but they declined. This is not how other RV parks operate -- late arrivals are usually handled easily by assigning a site in advance or allowing you to park and register in the morning. Instead, they chose to confirm my booking, then tell me it couldn't be fulfilled, and still keep my money. That is extremely poor customer service. The management was unfriendly and unprofessional. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here.

Overall, the vibe is friendly and relaxing. They have Wi-Fi available, showers, laundry, and access to a warm spring pool which is about 89°. It truly is a little oasis in the desert. Nice green grass in the campgrounds, as well as palm trees, and other shade trees. The customers almost all had been there before, and appreciate it for the gym that it is in an otherwise stark desert landscape. Family vibe. The town of Shoshone is quaint and funky, and you can get delicious fresh date-nut bread from the local date farms, and fancy lotion and semi precious stones at the local gas station/gift shop. If you're passing through the eastern side of death Valley or on your way to Nevada, this is a nice place to stop and get some rest.

A single table site is $25 and a double table site is $50. The odd number sites are reservable online. But there will be an extra service fee. The even number sites are first come first serve and they have a card paying machine onsite at the front of the overflow parking area. I think any numbers below site 25 are more spread out and less likely to be bother by noisy neighbors. Best site is probably number 41cos it's the top of the loop. We originally booked 33 but the site is so close to the neighbor and they had like a 40 people birthday party with a gigantic RV blasting that loud generator noise directly to us. Luckily the camp host was doing his runs and we get to ask him if we can change the site. We quickly changed to an even number site and it was so much better.

My husband and two year old packed up and prepared for a camping trip, knowing that it's a possibility that the campground would be full. But to drive around and see at least three spots being saved with just a chair or just an umbrella or just a cooler was so disappointing. Someone even wrote notes on the camp spot's post saying "NO SAVING SPOTS, camp site must be occupied each night that it's paid for"...and one even had a note saying someone's unattended chair blew away into someone else's camp spot and caused damage to their property. All because people left their belongings unattended at a spot to save it for someone else. We went back early the next morning to see if anyone had occupied the spots yet....and nothing. From 7pm-7am it was an empty site. The campground host was very rude in her response and not accommodating at all. The whole purpose of first come first serve is not so a chair can occupy the site all day. Very disappointed. Waste of time and gas.
