I'm been looking for a new stylist for a couple of weeks and researched a few salons in the area. Based on the information on her website and on the reviews I read, I decided to try Paige Leah Styles. I visited her website to try and get an appointment and have never had such a difficult time trying to schedule a hair appointment. I was required to fill out a questionnaire and attach pictures of my hair. What happened to in person consultation? Isn't the best way to determine the color to use and what cut to do best determined in person? For this reason I did not choose to pursue an appointment with her and will not recommend it to my friends or anyone else. For women, getting our hair done is a personal experience not something done with a form on a website. read more

I just moved here, and I was looking for a hair stylist. I loved the one I left back home, so I was hoping to find the someone similar. I hit the jackpot!! Paige is wonderful. She really listens to you, asks questions, and repeats back what she heard to make sure she understands what your hair needs are before she touches your hair. I am new to the area and was looking for a haircut. I have really curly hair. I did a search and found a positive review from someone with curly hair for Paige Leah styles. I decided to give her a try. I trusted Paige's judgment because she is a professional hairdresser. When I get my haircut my only guideline to the stylist is that my hair rest on my shoulders or slightly above my shoulders when it is wet. If my hair shorter than that when it dries it will at or above my chin line. I'm very clear with expectation. When Paige was done cutting my hair and it was still wet it was at my chin line. At the time I chose not to say anything but to go home and see what my hair looked like the next day after I washed it and used my deva curl hair products in it. The next day I did not like the haircut any better. In fact my hair was much shorter due to the fact that it was super curly with the curly hair products. I decided to place this post due to the fact that it's been 3 weeks since I had my hair cut and I am still extremely unhappy with it. Paige probably does good job with straight hair but she has no clue on how to cut someone's hair that is curly. read more

I enjoyed my appointments with the hard working and very personable Paige Leah. I returned this week for my second cut and colour with Paige. Both were excellent. Paige uses an organic hair colour product which is very gentle yet effective in covering grey hair and does not fade in the sun. I went in for a cut and color. Showed pictures of my hair as done by my previous stylist in Chicago (recently moved to town). I had blonde highlights previously and came out platinum blonde on top and my natural color primarily on the bottom. It doesn't look bad, but I prefer my color to be more subtle.
