Been here 4 times and I always leave feeling better! I usually schedule an appointment when I'm sore in my back and I seem to have great relief when I leave. I enjoy coming here because the pricing is very affordable compared to other places, and the massage after getting adjusted is great. Alicia, the office manager, is nice and she doesn't try to force feed expensive treatment down your throat which is nice because some places that try way too hard to rack up a huge bill. I had a Groupon that I bought for three sessions at Payne and associates. I was a little apprehensive about getting my back worked on and let the doctor now. He was very accommodating and did a great job afterwards I moved onto the massage chair where My massage therapist worked on my back and shoulders. Wouldn't have found this office if it wasn't for Groupon. All the staff in the office are professional and make sure your pain is improved from the last visit. The office manager was friendly and caring to make sure our physical needs are met and overall pain was improved. Dr. Robinson was the chiropractor that did my adjustments and after 3 visits my muscle weren't are tight and lower back pain/shoulders improved over a 3 week time period. This office takes insurances as well. $30 per office visit for an adjustment and massage. Which isn't a bad deal. I'd recommend coming in and trying out it. They also have PAs for medical treatments such as lidocaine injections. read more

Actual Pain Relief! Great Friendly Staff! Well Donna found a Groupon.... As many of my reviews begin...Lol... We decided to try out this office since they had a good Groupon and we both have back injuries... I was pretty skeptical about the situation since I am skeptical about all situations... Lol... After 6-7 visits to this office my back has actually improved to the point of almost half of the pain gone! I am really surprised and yes there is still pain, but I can move much easier now and it is far less miserable! I have been getting the adjustments from Dr. Robinson for almost 2 months with the trigger point massage afterwards to work out the knots since I have a knotty back... lol... Dr. Rob twists and turns me to pop things into alignment and at the end does the ever dreaded neck cracking. Ever dreaded because it reminds me of how the army taught us to break necks... lol... Good thing he is a doctor and knows what he is doing! I have had 2 appointments now with John the PA and his nice Medical Assistant where I have received lidocaine shots and this has been a great added treatment and I cannot really even say enough about the difference the needling and numbing has worked for me. It feels a bit weird when it's being injected but then the next day you feel so much better! I am terrible with names or I would mention the massage people also by name for their good work. The front desk people and the manger have all also been great. The office is clean and smells clean unlike what I read in one review... I would not recommend. I used the Groupon for three visits with massage and adjustments, and tried a few visits afterward. I could never get the x-rays done, and the massage was more of a light back rub in an open area. First they said they didn't have someone available that day to use the x-ray machine, then told me the next time they had already shut the machine down for the day, and told me on the third time that they were too backed up to get me in on that day. I came back again and they said they didn't recommend x-rays and would just do the same adjustment anyway. Uh, ok, that's really comforting that you're not even cracking backs according to each person's unique situation. How convenient to change your recommendation on x-rays on the fourth visit. The massages were terrible each time and every time the person would ask on the pressure, I would politely tell them to apply enough pressure so I could feel it. Lying on this table fully clothed, with people on the phone nearby, and the attendants gossiping and complaining, is neither relaxing nor conducive to any real chiropractic body work. Each attendant did this same neck move at the end and it was clear they weren't really trained or capable of making a difference with the "massage." Their nurse practitioner did an exam that seemed to be the bare minimum as well. His personal lack of hygiene and body odor was pretty concerning but that fit in well with the apathetic culture there. The only positive? The office staff was friendly and happy to schedule me for additional appointments, of course. I ended up going to a different chiropractor around the corner and they were professional and useful. The new doctor remarked that I certainly wasn't the first patient he heard this story from and shook his head. read more

My3rd and 4th Appointment and staff and is AWESOME! Chiropracter adjusted me and Chelsea and Kirk gave me an awesome medical massage! Mike from medical team took care of my medical needs. I had pressure point injection this was the 2nd time. I will keep doing it. With arthritis I can't turn my head much but now it's unbelievable I can turn my head and no pain. BEWARE, SOME DOCTORS ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH YOUR INSURANCE MONEY! This is also my second visit, but I have to rate this comment separately. Along with my massage and adjustment, that was great, I had a visit with a Physician for a testing on my range of motion, and to discuss specific symptoms. The doctor was nice, but it seemed as though he wanted to give me a shot for pain when I let him know it was minor to none at all, and that with certain stretches could get better on my own. He still tried in a polite way telling me about the pros and cons of getting a shot, but of course I refused because I wasn't in pain at all. I was thinking to myself I am here for a checkup and to see my options if more pain occurs. It seemed as though he just wanted some insurance money, and instead of letting me know what I could do to help myself so that I wouldn't be dependant on a drug. He just wanted to stick me with a needle. So I won't be back. 1. The room I was in was really dark with dark brown walls and not enough light which was VERY STRANGE for a doctors office. 2. I saw about 12 unopened syringes on the table which was also very weird as well. 3. The Doctor said he's been doing this for 43yrs. but still didn't listen when I said I had little to no pain while trying to persuade me to get a shot. I told him If I had pain I'd be back, but now I won't be back at all. read more

The addition of a massage with an adjustment is hard to find at other offices. Be very specific with the Chiropractors about your issues, they don't address everything, just what you tell them. Chad was amazing, very knowledgeable, experienced & greatly diminished my discomfort. The owner was amazing too. I enjoyed speaking with him. I like his philosophy for the business & his focus on patient care. The Chiropractors are just okay. They could give more attention to their adjustments & double check that they got everything. Neither of them listened well when I said things still needed adjustment. The first visit I had to ask for them to adjust me again after my massage. I have chronic neck pain from an old injury, hashimotos disease, and numerous other aches and pains. But let me rewind a bit, I have been getting Chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy for 20 years now. I even worked at one for a couple years. I didn't know what to expect on my first visit but to my surprise the front desk ladies were so nice. I say this in all seriousness because I have visited other doctors for my autoimmune disease and I am not greeted with such kindness. I visit the pain associates of Scottsdale. The wait time there is not long, and the staff is very friendly. The chiropractors who adjust you pay attention to what you have to say as far as your problem areas are concerned. They will work with insurance companies and they also have a cash option for services if you so choose. I highly recommend their establishment. Holly does a great job at the massage table. I called to see if they had appointments on a specific date and time to do decompression therapy. We scheduled initial appointment on that specific Date and time and no decompression was done but they scheduled with me 2 more appointments on the exact time and date as requested. When arrived I was told that they don't do decompressions on Wednesdays now. The scheduling was ridiculous and they actually scheduled me out for a few weeks knowing they didn't do it on that day. I showed up late to my first appointment and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly about the situation. The wait time wasn't bad, as soon as I filled out the required documents I was seen . My initial consultation with the chiropractor Cary McDonald was great. He answered all of my questions and took the necessary time to complete an assessment before the adjustments began. After the adjustments, I received an AMAZING massage from Calena. She targeted my painful areas which were my lower back and neck without ignoring the rest of my back. Her services are definitely recommended. After only three appointments, I feel much better. The massage therapists they have are very knowledgeable and tend to everything you need. I saw an ad on Facebook for an evaluation and plan for treatment. So I went a little skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised. Dr Q did several exrays, he examined me and scheduled 3 visits a week for starting. He recommended an MRI and worked a financial plan that was more than fair. I started my weekly visits and was greeted by 2 fabulous gals (Mia and Nicole.) So happy to see you and sign you in. Then several things like Precore, Nitro, traction, adjustment, ect. It's like they offer every possible option available to help get you healing. The injections I get help loosen me up a little and every third visit I get a massage which I look forward to. My fist visit was very informative of what they do and why it might work for me. I've had chronic neck and left shoulder pain for YEARS. I was real leery about the injections and asked my orthopedic doctor about them before I let their Physician proceed with the treatment. My first table massage was from some girl. I didn't love it but it was ok, my last two visit my table massage was from a young man, white with long blonde hair (not sure his name) he is incredible! I fell asleep at the table twice! He ask what kind of pressure you want and if you look a lot of pressure he definitely will do just that.
