During the year her staff seemed to dwindle down and I was left with Dr. Burger attending. My simple visit for a sinus infection turned into an unpleasant medical situation that Dr. Burger did not handle in a professional manner. I am thankful that I have found a competent primary care physician, and I do not recommend Dr, Burger.

If this was my staff, I would literally send them to some sort of conscious awareness training because they are the rudest people I have ever spoken with. I've been in the healthcare community for over 23 years practitioner myself and there is no way I would ever go and experience what I did just from the office staff. Go somewhere else. It is not worth it at all. Dr. Berg, I hope you do your due diligence and get rid of the staff you have. Feel free to reach out to me. I have not only started ambulatory surgery centers, but have ran them for years and you absolutely need help with the staff. The first time I called a couple days ago the person didn't even pick up the phone and say what facility it was then I left a message for the manager who never called me back. Today the lady actually asked me if he left a message. Are you kidding me? Why would I be calling you back if he left a message. Her name was Christina. I would fire her for sure. I wish you the best and I hope that one day I am able to be a patient but with office staff like this, there is no way that I am taking my husband, and the rest of the family here for care. So just an FYI, if you have 13 reviews and you are only at 1.5 stars, you should probably be looking at this

To Dr. Moran and his team at the Port St. Lucie office,…read more The level of care and professionalism that my 4 year old son experienced today was unacceptable. I would like to start off by saying that no one knows what others are going through in life. I'll spare you the reasons why we were 15 minutes late to our appointment because I know you don't care, that was clear at the appointment today. I tried calling the office to let you know that we were running a little late and I couldn't reach anyone. It went to voicemail after 3 rings. Also, when my 4 year old son is telling me several times on the way to the appointment that he's going to poop his pants, I'm going to take him to the restroom first before anything else. His level of comfort matters more than being a few minutes late for an appointment and does not require condescending remarks from the lady at the front desk. Shame on the office for such poor empathy towards a 4 year old. The amount of times I've been early or on time for an appointment and wait hours - and in this instance knowing I'm running behind so I tried to give a courtesy call - made it a poor experience from the beginning. Once called back and waiting for an x ray, the 2 nurses/assistants/whatever their title is, started cursing (F bombs, bitch, etc.) all about a patient in a wheelchair. If that's not nasty and disrespectful enough, my 4 year old is sitting just a few feet away from this. After finishing that disgusting conversation, they peeked their head around to greet my son and acted all innocent towards him in a high pitch voice as if we didn't just hear those terrible words. How unprofessional to do this around a child, let alone talk about another patient in that way. You expect me to now trust and respect this office? Health care professionals are supposed to be a safe space for individuals in need to get the help they deserve. My 4 year old son didn't deserve this. And now let's add the cherry on top to this entire thing. Dr. Moran walked into the room and my son wanted to take his bandage off himself. We've been having him help with it because we want him to be as comfortable as possible. Once it was time to take the gauze off, Dr.Moran proceeded to hold his hand down and quickly take the gauze off. The same gauze that was sticking to his stitches. My son started screaming in pain and crying. I couldn't believe what I just witnessed. We've been taking his bandages off without any tears. We gained that trust over the last few days. Now my son won't let me even touch or look at his hand. Dr.Moran ruined that trust in a matter of seconds. I even watched him pull on a stitch and reopen a spot on his finger. In that moment I spoke up and Dr.Moran responded by saying that he works with kids all day long. While this may be true, that doesn't negate the fact that this is terrible bed side manner and a horrific experience for my 4 year old. As if this entire experience of him ripping open his finger wasn't bad enough, this office only made it worse. I will never be returning or recommending this office to anyone. As a mother, I am mortified by what I witnessed and experienced today. Do better

As both of us are nurses with extensive experience--over 20 years each--we have a deep understanding of the healthcare field. I have been under the care of Pioneer Pain Management for approximately six years for two chronic conditions, while my wife has consulted Dr. Poto for several issues over the past three years. The clinicians at Pioneer Pain Management have consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, care, and attentiveness. A notable example is Dr. Poto's ability to diagnose a chronic condition that took over 20 years to be correctly identified by numerous neurologists and medical doctors in Massachusetts and Connecticut. During my initial appointment with Dr. Poto, he accurately diagnosed the condition without the need for prior medical records, a feat that took over two decades to achieve elsewhere. My wife has also experienced similar levels of expertise and care from Dr. Poto, leaving her consistently impressed. Based on our combined experience of over 40 years in acute care medicine, we wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Poto, his team, and the entire office for the treatment of chronic pain conditions.
